The level 2 corridor is decorated simply. The floors are a simple, yet expensive looking tile and the walls are paneled with wood. There are wall sconces with their fires lit, making the corridor seem a little warming. Portraits of Aurors, Lawyers, Headmasters, and so on are hung on alternating walls. If you're looking for the Law or Education department you have come to the right place.

OOC: All Ministry of Magic employees, regardless of their assigned department, are welcome to create their own roleplay in this thread.

Asher had never been to the second level of the ministry before. He kept stopping and looking at the pictures of the different people on the walls. A few he spent little time on, others he spent a little longer on, looking intently at the picture. "This is quite interesting." he told Chloe as they walked. He'd have to come back up sometime to look at the pictures more carefully.

Chloe walked along the corridor, occasionally being jolted to as Asher would stop to examine the portraits lining the walls, several times almost causing her to lose her balance. When Asher said it was interesting, Chloe just sort of shrugged. "I walk past here every day, so I guess I just don't really notice." Chloe slowed down her walking as much as possible, determined to spend every last possible second with Asher. As usual.

"Actually, " Asher stated stopping once more at a picture and examining the person in it. "I went on a long walk and then went to the library to read." he paused as he walked a few more steps and stopped to examin the painting Chloe had stopped in front of. "But, yes. Chloe shook her head at him and giggled. Then she stepped close to him and gave him a hug. "You need to start sleeping more. What am I gonna have to do to get you to actually SLEEP at night, hmm?" she giggled again and poked him in the chest before turning and continuing to walk slowly down the hallway. Asher chuckled, "You speak as if I sleep-walk. I stay in bed once I'm asleep, I just stay up really late." He corrected her, though he clearly knew what she meant. He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her lips for just a few seconds before pulling back. "Have a spectacular day." He told her with a smile before he turned to walk off back down the hall. He stopped once again at a painting on the wall, and then remembering he was running late he pulled out of his amazement to continue on down to his level.

Chloe looked away, a little embarrassed and then looked back up into his brown eyes and said, "Well, then, I'm just going to have to come up with an incentive to get you to go to bed earlier." She was still smiling as his lips met hers in a soft kiss. Merlin have mercy! Chloe loooooved it when he kissed her like that. It made her heart go crazy, and she could feel the blood pump faster through her body. Goodness gracious! If she had that to look forward to every night, she would gladly go to bed as early as possible.

Whooooah Chloe! You're getting way ahead of yourself there! Living with him? Falling asleep with him every night? You haven't even been dating six months. Hold your horses.

But it feels so perfect to be with him. It just feels right. I know it's right. He's the only person I want to be with... ever.

And when she snapped out of her internal debate, he was saying his goodbyes. "You have already made it spectacular!" As he walked away, she waved and then walked through the doors to work, though she was pretty sure more daydreaming was going to be done this afternoon than actual working.

Asher gave a backwards glance as he watched her walk through the doors of her department. He smiled, she was so adorable, he didn't even mind the bickering between them because of it. He chuckled to himself as he continued down the hall.

Taking a deep breath she looked up at him, the tears evident and asked blatantly, "Tell me what I have done to make you hate me so, Ethan. That was really uncalled for..." She then turned her head and watched the wall as they passed the Law Enforcement offices.

I suppose I shouldn't have said the things I said, but in all honesty I am hurting right now and confused and I took it out on you."

She then wiped her face with the sleeve of her shirt and waited for them to reach her office door so he could put her down and then maybe she could see about finding a new job in the Ministry...

Benjamin decided to linger in the corridor before heading into the office. For some reason, he never actually looked at it in detail. Something interesting could be here. He observed the portraits and saw some familiar faces either in books or a newspaper. Benjamin looked around and noticed he was by himself. He sighed at the loneliness. Things have been very boring in the office lately with the lack of Warren and now they were losing their department head as well.

Chloe stood in the hallway, pacing back and forth as she waited for Ryan to come out. She was not at all happy about transferring to his division, but she would do anything for Antigone. So, if that meant having to work under Ryan, then so be it, but there were some things that she needed to tell Mr. Chambers, some boundaries that she needed to set. Yes, she was going to put her boss in his place, and if he was smart, he would do well to listen. Chloe was not a woman to be trifled with.

With a sweet smile on his face Ryan did nothing but stared and carefully listened to the woman, paying his utmost attention to the every single word she pronounced. And yes, the speech was almost the same as he had predicted and of course there were parts that he would disagree especially about the parts flirting and respect nevertheless he decided not to utter any of them for he could see that the woman disliked him so much that he doubted she would pay any attention to what he should say.

So, still smiling, he nodded kindly and uttered a single word as an answer to her question ''Yes''

He smiled wider when the woman looked a little bit confused. Surely enough it was actually the man's intention to make her look like that on the other hand she was right. She was a sweet woman and by the look of her, she was a good person inside who deserved to be left in peace. ''Sure. Good apetit'' Ryan called after her as she walked away. Then after standing there for a moment or so the man walked away as well.
