If you're aiming to be the first to Hogwarts, board the train at the front. Mind your step and take small children by the hand. Kiss your Ma and your Pa, get the last jab in at your younger siblings, but don't dally!
The Hogwarts Express will be pulling out soon, headed to Hogwarts for another magical year. You may RP your character boarding the train here, saying their goodbyes, and meeting new Hogwarts students.
After a more than pleasing dash through the wall, Eris glanced around the vast landscape that was the Hogwarts Express platform. Stretching from as far as the first year could see at her vertically challenged height, parents stood with their children fastening their cloaks a little tighter as though to busy themselves or counting the items aboard their children’s carts in the most meticulous manner as though daring a quill to be misplaced. Others, more so the older teens of the platform squealed as they met each other, sadly departed from a long summer or huddled in group chatting away with toothy smiles about the years past and to come.
Feeling a finger run through her long and dark hair, Eris turned expectantly to see her her mother. Like her, they shared long dark hair that seemed to wave at the ends framing their thin faces. Isadora though, had a more foreign complexion and was far more beautiful and feminine than her boyish and small framed daughter. Age though, had seemed to catch up to her as the eyes that were once flames of animation were beginning to fade more to grey than to blue.
Her face held a proud and suffering look as she fingered the 11 year old’s lock of hair, giving a clucking sound of her tongue, but holding back from mentioning any reprimand of lack of care the locks were given by their careless owner, as she let the strand fall back to rest on Eris’ shoulder.
Beside the mother, a little boy, no more than 4 stared up at his sister with his own big blue eyes, gripping his mother’s fingers with a tightness that must have cause a cramp later on in the day.
“Si...Si, I’ll come soon too!” the little boy’s cheeks flushed with happiness as he let go of his mother to run and hug his sister with enough to force to nearly knock her off balance. His squeeze did indeed make her lean forward a bit in surprise, but she quickly regained herself holding out a thumbs up with a toothy grin filled with determination as she got on her knees.
At only 4’8”, Eris was literally at eye level with her toddler brother. Reaching out a hand to rest on the little one’s shoulder she looked at him happily, “You bet, Vy! Try not to get in trouble while I’m gone...” she added ruffling his hair with a wink.
Standing back up, she noticed her mother had decided to examine a close by brick wall, as if she had seen a disgusting speck of dirt, in favor to watching the siblings give their farewells.
“You’ll be fine from here...I believe...” Isadora began slowly, her proud eyes finding her daughter’s, though there seemed to be much doubt in her, as her mother took a quick scan of the area as if trying to convince herself of seeing something that wasn’t really there.
Her thin and pursed lips curled on the ends gently as she looked down at her daughter with a love she didn’t show often, tracing a high-nailed finger across Eris’ cheek, Isadora sighed, “Be safe, your wand is in your pocket. Everything is on the cart.” Her gentle look turned to one of caution, “Keep it all close to you, good luck, have fun.” She finished as she stood up straight, and with an old aristocratic.
“Vidar.”, She called to the the little toddler who gripped his mother’s hand as she turned to swoop out of the room as though being their another second would make her catch a disease.
Turning, Eris glanced around the platform, the train had not arrived yet, and she didn’t know who to talk to first, or if she should talk at all. Walking to her trunk, she stuck a finger into a wide silver cage and wiggled it for the entertainment of a small Kneazle kitten.
“Helloooo” she softly greeted, “Ready to go on the train?” she asked the golden tom who just sat and looked up at her before humoring his human with a bat of a pale orange paw.
Louisa chuckled at João's question. "We just go through it while no one is looking," And by 'no one' she meant muggles. "It doesn't require any magic," She smiled up at the father and let her eyes linger on his face for a minute. It was overwhelming for her to meet a wizard father with a wizard son. She could picture herself coming to King's Cross with her father more clearly now. "I was nervous the first time I did it but they sent a witch to show me the way. It'd be better if I knew her of course but it went all right," And she was telling them this in case they were nervous or something. Not that the man seemed nervous-able at all but... João could be.
Walking forward, in slow motion, Louisa was glancing around for any muggles and once they were a meter and a half away from the wall she squeezed João's hand, unintentionally, and quickened her pace closing her eyes. Once that feeling took over her body for a second when it collided with the wall, she opened them with a genuine small smile playing on her lips. They were standing in front of the train finally, the chatter was loud and pleasant as ever.
And to make it better, she wasn't alone. João was there and his father as well, they were getting closer and she could feel it. Letting go of his hand, Louisa's was getting a bit sweaty and she wanted to introduce the train well to the Brazilian family, the girl ran forward a little whirling around, "And this is the Hogwarts Express," Spreading her arms slightly above her head in a I-Am-A-Queen pose.
Go through it? By 'it', did she mean the wall?! João looked at it with concern. It looked as strong as a normal wall. This was magic, he tried to reassure himself, but what if he crashed into it? What if his father crushed into it?! The man wasn't magical, obviously, and thhey couldn't afford their reputation as the ambassador of Brazil ruined in the public. He glanced over his father, who was following and listening to their conversation. And by now, they were really close to the wall... they were going to hit...
"Louisa I'm not--" but before he could finish his sentence, they were already running towards it. He hadn't even felt the squeeze she gave his hand. They were going to crash, and there was no way to stop it now--

Marcelo's eyes were shut while they ran, and he kept walking, unaware that they had reached the station already. He opened them when she spoke, and he even offered a smile right before he stumbled on something big and before long, he flew in the air and fell heavily on the floor, over his left hand.
Swearing in Portuguese, his eyes watered with pain and for a moment he didn't even notice his legs were still on that thing which knocked him down.
"Você está bem?!" came the voice of his father, speaking in Portuguese. So he had made it into the wall too; Louisa had been right. "Não," he replied, trying to get up to see which was that obstacle he fell on. There stood a trunk which obviously belonged to that girl... With the help of his father, he got up, his left hand held in a funny angle. He looked down at the llittle girl for a moment, then his eyes flickered at the trunk to see if he caused any damage.
Leon smiled and followed her through. By the time she was on the train, she'd be busy and distracted and probably wouldn't think of him again for a while.
Aspen nodded towards the front of the train, directing her father in that direction. There was probably a rule about younger or newer students having to sit in the front anyway, though Aspen hadn't actually found ANY sort of rules about the Hogwarts Express. Just a date and time and supply list were available.
But obviously she wasn't going to take a chance being out of place at the back.
"....guess... you can go now." As much as she worried about leaving her father and brother (and Chaucer), if this was REALLY happening - then he couldn't get on the train with her. Or even put her luggage up. She knew how cruel other kids could be and since she was going to have live with all these strangers - best not give them any 'daddy's girl' fodder for teasing right off.
She stacked Egbert's basket on top of her trunk and stared at it, to keep from having to look at her Pops.

"Not until you're settled." Leon answered, "Did you want to try levitating your trunk up and stowing it yourself?" He knew from experience, when he was a student himself, that it was more awkward than you'd think, being as a trunk had a great deal of mass and tended to be awkward in shape when it came to getting it on board.
"... unless you want me to leave." He added, and winked.
She had no idea where to sit on the train. The back looked just as good as the front which looked slightly better than the middle, but her mom was headed toward the front of the train.
"LowLow" squealed her little sister Persia. She couldn't say Harlow just yet, so that's what she called her. She unstrapped Persia and lifted her out of the pram. She grabbed her hand before she could dash off. Persia was a fast runner and could be a mile away in the blink of an eye.
Harlow trailed after her mom pushing the still sleeping Cuba. As long as her mom didn't try to make her sit right behind the conductor or anything. She wasn't a total baby after all. She was eleven!

"Am I...," Aspen looked around, as if some authority figure or posted rules might state whether or not she was allowed to perform magic yet. She supposed Pops was the authority though, at least for a bit longer. Her wand, in it's concealed holder strapped to her forearm, revealed itself at her touch.
She cast a nervous glance sideways, then held her wand out steady after a family passed by in front of her, "Wingardium Leviosa."
And Daddy Odessa's thoughts were exactly right. It WAS a big, heavy trunk. Though Aspen was pretty good with her spell work, all the hustle and bustle around her, the eyes, the pressure got to her. The trunk lifted, then wobbled precariously... and when Egbert's basket went sliding off the side of the trunk, she quickly dropped her wand AND the trunk to catch her baby bat! EEEP!

And Leon was there. The trunk righted in time to be sure its contents wouldn't be thrown about too violently, while instead of catching the Bat, he subtly threw a cushioning charm at the concrete platform, in case Aspen didn't quite manage to catch Egbert. He stooped to pick up her wand before it could roll off the platform and beneath the train.
Harlow squealed and ran after her mom, with her sister trailing behind her. "Mommy!" she grabbed the hem of her mom's skirt and hide behind the her. "Its a bat!" she squealed again as her mom teetered with the force of Harlow running into her. Harlow was not a fan of bats.

He watched his daughter patiently.
Aspen DID catch Egbert's basket, though he'd probably fallen off his perch. No doubt he'd gotten jostled. "I'm sorry," to everyone involved. She peeked into the basket to make sure her little bat was okay, and then held it out for her father to double check.
And also give him the big eyed 'IcantdothisIcantdothis' look. It wasn't a typical Aspen face, but on occasion...

The LOOK to her father only intensified when what had to be a first year was HIDING from Aspen and her bat. Already scaring the younger students? Horrible. She was SURE her father should have left when she gave him the opportunity. "She's afraid of us, Pops."

True.
The kid had good powers of observation.
Leon smiled kindly but he was busy trying to comfort his own daughter. Still, he and Aspen and her bat meant no harm. And Egbert was contained.

He took the basket and checked Egbert, who looked a bit shaken but otherwise undeterred. He went back in his basket, and Leon kept hold of it.
"Try again, poppet. Remember the mass of the object is what makes it awkward, it doesn't matter so much about the weight." Which is why when she'd started learning the charm, she'd done so with a feather. "I'll hold Egbert and keep him safe." With infinite patience he stood and waited.

Ok she was dramatic, she knew that. But bats were creepy. With their beady little eyes and their squeaky cries. Once her mom had succeeded in prying her hands off the hem of her skirt and calming her sisters down after that ru of death she took them on.
Harlow's brown cheeks flushed when she saw that he girl had noticed her freak out. Well the whole platform had noticed. She's not a subtle little girl. Harlow gave the girl a smile and a little curtsy so there weren't any hard feelings.

Her blush deepened when the girls very, extremely, tall father gave her a smile. She gave him a big smile and a proper curtsy.

"I feel like everyone is looking now," Aspen confided. She'd felt they were already looking before she dropped her trunk and wand and the girl had shouted BAT for all to hear. But now they were SURE to be watching. If the situation were switched, Aspen would have discretely been watching, too.
After retrieving her wand from Pops, Aspen tried to shut everyone else out and focus. An impossible task, as it turned out. Determined not to be embarrassed again or let her Pops last memory of her be of her failing, Aspen tried again - with much better results. The trunk still wobbled precariously towards tipping, but it was high enough in the air that Aspen could put a hand on it and direct it to where it needed to go.
"Is that cheating?" she wondered aloud. Pushing the trunk into place after lifting with magic? Half cheating? ...he wasn't going to make her do it again, right...?
...Aspen didn't KNOW what to think of the curtsying little girl ... so.. .she just sort of smiled, too.
"Você está bem?!" came the voice of his father, speaking in Portuguese. So he had made it into the wall too; Louisa had been right. With the help of his father, he got up, his left hand held in a funny angle. He looked down at the llittle girl for a moment, then his eyes flickered at the trunk to see if he caused any damage.
His arm hurt.
Widening her big blueish-grey eyes in surprise when she saw something, or someone fall in front of in front of her tripped by her trunk Eris took a mixture of a jump and a step back before she realized what had happened.
Her hand flew to her to mouth lightly and almost automatically as she saw it was a young boy. He seemed to be okay after getting help from his father and saying some words in a foreign language...
Or was that an incantation she hand't learned yet?
Ignoring the trunk that hes seemed to be concerned about as he scanned it with his eyes, Eris realized there was something wrong with his left hand, it didn't take much guesswork to configure in her mind to realize he had gotten hurt, falling on her trunk.
The young witch didn't have to stand there for more than a second to make up her mind on what to do. Quite instinctively as though it was her little brother, though clearly she was the miniature one in this case, Eris reached out her slender pale arms after moving a few steps forward, to gently grab the boy's hand to see if she had broken it.
Like she knew what a broken hand even looked like.
It looked weird, and that was clearly enough for her to be sure she had caused some damage at her first year at Hogwarts. Before she even got on the train none the less.
"I'm so sorry!" she gushed guiltily, before realizing that examining his hand like a palm reader might look strange, choosing to help it drop back down to the boy's side slowly as though if she dropped loosely it would shatter like glass.
"I'd fix it...but I don't know any magic..." she admitted with a bit of half grimace as she stood back up.
"I feel like everyone is looking now," Aspen confided. She'd felt they were already looking before she dropped her trunk and wand and the girl had shouted BAT for all to hear. But now they were SURE to be watching. If the situation were switched, Aspen would have discretely been watching, too.

Harlow smiled in return. There she had made another friend. This was going to be a good year she thought, as her mother loaded her trunk and Legalos's cage onto the train. Legalos yowled at Harlow for being locked up for so long. He hated cages immensely.
Zion turned to her oldest daughter. She was lost for words, and tears welled in her eyes. "You packed everything?" she asked smoothing down the lapels to Harlow's white military jacket.
Harlow smiled, "Yes mommy." Tears welled in her eyes too. She was really going. She was going to be without her family for a whole year. "Mommy I don't want to go," she sobbed as she threw herself into her mother's arms.
Her mother stroked her hair and whispered gently into her ear. "You will be ok." She was going to miss her daughter too, but she was so proud of her for getting into Hogwarts. "You will make lots of friends and you will forget to write because of all the fun." She knew that it was going to hurt for a little while. But it would fade quickly once she got to school and get involved in everything. Like she knew Harlow would.
Harlow shook her head, "I won't forget to write." she promised. Her mom smothered her once again in a hug. This was harder than she thought it was going to be. She was really going to miss her family, and she didn't know how much till now.

Jonathan, his father and mother finally reached the north end of the platform where his father thinks would be better to sit at. Jonathan's mother hugged him tightly and tried not to cry. She fixed his son's hair with her left hand on his neck. "Fifth year. Time flies so fast" she uttered.
Of course the whole hugging and not tearing up session with Jonathan's mother happens almost every year at this very platform and boy Jonathan can't still forget the time when he first started at Hogwarts. His mother wept and didn't want to let go of his tiny hands. Jonathan felt embarrassed by the fact that even at this age she still acts like he is vulnerable or something. It's as if he was 5. Seriously, Jonathan thinks he'll never grow old with his mother around to feed him at almost everything. Wait, scratch that, WITH EVERYTHING.
He smiled at his mother as she once again hugged him tightly, but this time more like squeezing him to death. "Mum. I'm not leaving yet." he smiled as he tried to let go of her arms this time. "We've been doing this for five years. Don't tell me that you still think I'm 11 now, do you?" he continued. "I'll be okay." he nodded.
Victoria of course, didn't buy all that. He is her only son after all. So once again she hugged him but thankfully, didn't cry like the past years. "Write to us when you get there, okay?" she commanded because last year, Jonathan didn't write as much.
Jonathan just nodded. Looking at his father this time, Jonathan walked to him and said his farewell as well. Awkward. Jonathan is not that much close to Alexander. Only because Alexander is so strict to him that Jonathan actually fears him. Victoria wishes to get rid of that though. "Speaking of fifth year, you will be having your OWLs right." he told his son. Rhetorical question of course. He knows that OWLs are during their fifth year. "I expect you studied well this summer to get yourself prepared for it" Alexander looked at his son. Jonathan didn't answer but just nodded while staring at the empty rail tracks.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

His father was pushing the heavy looking trolley towards the north side of the station. He didn't wanted that his youngest son sat at the back and be at Hogwarts fast so that nothing could happen. "Right, we're here" he announced and parked the trolley somewhere that wasn't in the way. "Do you see anyone you know , Daichi?"
Daichi had been walking behind his father with a bit of a soar expression on his face. HE wanted to push the trolley! But nooooo his father said it was *too heavy* or something. As they arrived at the platform, Daichi bumped against his father who had stopped all of the sudden. He rubbed his forehead and looked around. "I...no.." he said.
"You DO have friends right?" his older brother , Aedan teased him. "I haven't heard you talk about them during the summer..." He grinned some more as he looked around the platform. Maybe there was a hot girl somewhere he could chat up later.
"YAH!" Daichi's face blushed a deep shade of red as he tried to control not hitting his brother in front of his father. "I DO have friends!" he said defencively. "They just... graduated...." he added with a deep sigh. With the deep sigh he looked around again until he saw someone that was familiar and he brightened his smile by his rescue. "JONATHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!" He began running towards the now fifth year and his father together with his brother had to keep up.

Jonathan's mother went to get something, maybe another piece of coat for Jonathan to shove in his trunk. He brought enough coats already. That was last term. He learnt his lessons already. But who knows where his mother really went to. To the loo perhaps?
Jonathan was still talking to his father about OWLs and what not when suddenly Ayumi apparated on the exact right spot. "Thank merlin, I'm on the right spot." she said looking at Jonathan and his father. On her hands were Jonathan's Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures book. "Here" she handed the two books to him. "You left them back on Ryu's desk and thankfully he remembered about it." she smiled. The 22 year-old just couldn't help but miss the tracks where the Hogwarts Express will be settling in. She was a former Gryffindor and how she wishes she could go back to school and wear the uniform again.
Jonathan took his books. Great. More for him to carry. Why did he forgot about these two books anyway? He could have sworn he packed all of his books in his trunks but oh well. "Thanks" he nodded at Ayumi. Then suddenly out of nowhere, someone screamed his name. Familiar tiny, squeaky voice... DAICHI! Jonathan is always fond of this little guy. "Second year!" he smiled at the young boy. Coming on the side 2 older men running towards Daichi. This must be his family.
"Uhmmm, long time no see Daichi." he smiled at him "By the way this is my father" Alexander nodded his head at the Slytherin boy. "And this..." looking at Ayumi "... is my cousin Ayumi" she introduced her as well. Ayumi had a lot of time to come visit Jonathan. Doesn't she have work or something?
His arm hurt.

Okay.. Louisa shouldn't have run through the wall with João since it was his first and he might not open his eyes in the right time causing him to trip over something. Like what actually just happened. The fourteen years old jumped over to him when he got up and didn't understand what Mr. Neves was saying but João's reply was close to 'no'. She only had to figure out the question was it 'are you okay?' or 'does it hurt?' because it makes a big different as to what the situation might be.
But she didn't get the chance to say or do anything since a young girl approached and... was palm reading his hand? O__o Louisa stared at the girl for a moment and then at her trunk. "I don't think you can use magic even if you know it. You're underage sweetie," That was a sign that told Louisa this girl might be a Muggleborn. Turning her attention to João, she asked concerned, "Jwaw, are you okay? Is it broken?" She knew a couple of spells that might help- never tried any, but she could risk it when they arrived at Hogwarts. That was if Mr. Neves didn't get on with it.
Looking back at the girl, Louisa gestured toward the trunk, "You might want to close that. If you have a cat in there," Because Louisa's kitty escaped in her first year leading the girl to Knockturn Alley, so it would be good to warn other children about the consequences of having their trunks open or kittens without a tracker.
That was if anybody put a kitten inside a trunk- so far, only Louisa did.
Like a Domino ♥ Karma Kimalia ♥ ♥ Taco Bell ♥ Sorry for party rocking
Kimalia and her parents walked out of the wall to see the familiar sight of Platform 9 and 3/4. It was fairly early, but they still had to make way through a crowd of other wizards and witches in order to place Kimalia's luggage onto the train.
Gently squeezing Kimalia's left shoulder."Here we are Kimalia," Theodore-Louis Fanster gave her a knowing smile.
Mary Fanster in front of Kimalia was helping button her white jacket more smiling. "Now Kimalia, you may be a teenager, but keep your studies first."
Kimalia smiled a little too widely, In other words, no boys.." But she didn't want them to know that she knew. "Of course mom, but flying's my true love!" Kimalia added dramatically. "I can't bear to be parted with that!" Her father surprisingly didn't laugh, he turned grave. He saw through her acting.
"Your mother is right now, no boys." He said seriously.
"Not until next year." Mary smiling rubbed her nose against Kimalia making her laugh. Her mom was 14 when she started dating her dad.
"Don't worry, no guy is on my mind." Kimalia said, now unless that handsome Muggle professor that left last term came back, she might have to retract that statement.
"That's my girl, brains of your mom, brass like your charming father." He began laughing loudly again, Kimalia was glad no one paid any mind to them. Mary sensing this, rubbed his shoulder to calm him.
"Now, now darling, we mustn't frighten people." Kimalia then hugged them both at once. She grew over the summer but still was 3 inches shorter than her mum.
"I'll miss you guys, I'll keep you updated on everything."
"Yes, especially on you leading the Quidditch team!" Oh Kimalia felt glad that any of her old teammates that were nearby didn't hear what he said. Kimalia in an extremely rare moment blushed a faint pink.
"Daad! I still have to tryout again, and the older students are better than me." As much as Kimalia would love to take credit, she knew bragging without proof that she led the team would backfire on her. Considering they all worked together, would be such an insult to them.
Her dad didn't lose the knowing smile though, before hearing Mary sniff.
"Oh no mom, please don't cry or I'll cry too." Kimalia laughed to fight the tears that were threatening to come before hugging her again. They all hugged for a full minute before letting go.
"Alright hun, now go make us proud again." Mary wiped her remaining tears before waving her off whilst Theodore-Louis Fanster after waving rubbed Mary's shoulder in sympathy.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

Daichi couldn't help but brighten his smile when he heard Jonathan say second year. "yeaaah! i can't believe i'm a second year! I'm so happy i passed the tests last year" he beamed and stomped on his brother's foot when he mumbled something.
Aedan groaned in pain as Daichi stomped on his foot and hinked a few steps. "What? it's the truth! You can't even perform simple sp *stomp* ooow! daaad!" Now it was Aedan's turn to whine to his father but the man simply ignored them.
Instead , he walked up to the father of the student and held his hand out. "Nice to meet you sir and of course the lovely lady" He then turned to the student himself and smiled. "What year are you in?" he asked curiously as he kept looking at his two sons in the corner of his eyes.
Aedan glanced at his wrist watch and gave his father a look. "I'm sorry but i have to get back to work." he announced and turned to Daichi. Picking him up from the ground and huuuuged him so tightly that Daichi was gasping for air. "Good luck at Hogwarts, eh? I'll see you in the holidays"
Daichi hugged his annoying yet caring brother goodbye and watched as he walked through the wall , back to his work. He turned around to stand next to his father. "Aren't you in the O.W.L's now?" Daichi asked not so innocently because he wanted his father to know that he hang out with older kids too. hehe.

Second year. It's true what his mother said. Time does fly so fast. It hasn't been long ago when Jonathan became a first year. He looked so tiny before and look at him now. He's taller than ever. Jonathan smiled at the young boy. Really nice to see Daichi again. He never had brothers nor sisters to fight with. So seeing him bickering with his brother just led Jonathan into a smile. He's quite envious to look at them both. How he wished he also had his older brother to stomp his feet to. "Daichi is a fast learner" he smiled. Of course, he was on his side. Daichi was more like a younger brother to Jonathan.
Ayumi looked at her wrist watch and as she did, she was still getting her things fixed back at the house and if she doesn't finish packing on time Ryu will definitely leave her behind. After meeting with Jonathan's friend, Daichi, his brother and of course his father. Ayumi excused herself "I also have to leave." with that said, she kissed Jonathan on the cheeks. The Takahashi's don't have younger siblings to play with. That's why they love having Jonathan around. "I'll miss you" she smiled.
Jonathan can't help but wipe his cheeks. EWWW. Jonathan is an OCD person. So that was just disgusting.
Before Jonathan could have answered Daichi's father, Alexander (Jonathan's father) decided to reply on his question "My son is already in the fifth year. Slytherin" of course, Alexander has always been a proud Slytherin. Not one in there family hasn't been sorted into a different house. "Pardon me but is your son also Slytherin?" Alexander asked. Typical. Jonathan usually gets shy when his father asks about his friends' house. It's just rude but then again he can't argue with his own father now can he?
Victoria came back and on her hand were 2 pairs of gloves. "Bring this with you. They're thicker than the ones you have. Perfect for winter" Jonathan's mother didn't know she was interrupting a conversation. She looked a bit awe when Alexander looked confused at her and Jonathan leading her onto the side because she was literally on the center of the conversation. "I apologize for that." she looked at Daichi, his father and his brother. "Friends of yours?" she whispered to Jonathan.
Jonathan nodded for confirmation.
Speaking of fifth years. "Yes. OWLs" Jonathan and OWLs don't match up. He did study for them but he doesn't know if he will ever pass the other subjects such as CoMC or Hebology or Arithmancy. He always find it hard with those 3 subjects. He barely did well last term.

Marcelo winced as the girl took his hand in hers. At least she wasn't babbling about what a wrong place she'd set down her trunk and such. It was completely his fault that he fell, but he wasn't up to trying to calm down a crying kid now. Thankfully, her luggage seemed to be fine too. Or else, it would annoy his father to pay for something so stupidly broken.
Although it was numb now, it still hurt unbearably as the girl held it in hers, but he tried not to show it. He didn't want to unsettle the girl now, nor did he want to look like a cry-baby for Louisa. Though, of course, like every other polite people, she had to take some guilt. He waved his other hand dismissively.
"It was my fault, I walked eyes-closed," he said with a voice on edge because of pain. Supporting the probably-broken hand with the other, he held it close to his body in mid-air. He wouldn't want it to be swollen now, would he? He knew they could do magic at the train, and he was going to fix it once it switched on the engine.
Hearing the exchange between the girls, he frowned. "We can use magic at train," he said in a tone half-asking. If not, it was better that he went to a hospital now... or get someone older heal it. He couldn't possibly survive the whole trip to up north in such condition.
"I think it's broken, and I know a spell to fix it. I'm not sure if we're allowed to do magic here." Better not to risk that. He didn't want to start his new school year with an official warning.
Looking back at his dad, who watched the whole in thing silence to let them figure it out, he said again in Portuguese "You may leave... I'll write to you when we arrive." That was always the same; he couldn't wait for this moment when he would be away from home, but he would always feel horribly lonely at the moment of 'goodbye' to his father. He would have wanted the man to stay until the last moment, but he had to talk to Louisa, remembering their last encounter with Adam... and he could see the girl wasn't comfortable with his father around.
"And um... if the house is suitable, I'll be back for Christmas." Although he would regret it later... he was feeling too mixed emotions to think straight now.
Senhor Neves watched the whole scene. Being a Muggle, he couldn't do many things now. The only way to heal an arm was going to a hospital, but apparently there was a spell for it. Oh well.
Nodding as his son told him it was okay, he carefully hugged the boy not to hurt his arm again. "Okay. Tell me everything about the castle, yes?" He eyed Louisa again, then, sure that she wouldn't understand, he said "She is a good girl..." She reminded him of the mother of Marcelo, actually. Only, she probably wasn't that greedy. "Yes... we'll see each other at Christmas." He smiled again, hugging his son one last time.
"Adeus, meninas bonitas!" he called as he waved at them with a smile. "I hope you have a good term!" Then, smiling again, he went through the wall to the other side to go home.
The boy lingered there for one more moment, obviously thinking something, before he turned back to the girls.
Today was the day Renesmee was heading back to Hogwarts. She couldn't wait for the term coming. She just had a feeling it was going to be a good one. She wanted to be at Hogwarts already enjoying the beginning of term feast, but there was the train ride she had to go through first. She walked into the platform through the wall. It was probably her favourite wall, it was just so awsome. She wished she could have a wall like it to enter her room at home. Now that would be really COOL!
Her Dad, Mom and sister where standing with her, Aya was in her cage and Puffles was sitting on her shoulder. Her sister, Juliet was joining Hogwarts this term and she looked rather nervous. Nessie didn't blame her, she remembered when she left for Hogwarts for the first time. It was exciting but scary all at the same time. She just hoped her sister would be in Hufflepuff too. Luckily her parents were sorting out her sister, so they were'nt bothering her too much.
"Make sure youv'e got everything" her dad, Nathan said to her. He was always the organised one in the family. He had to be, he worked for the MLE and if he wasn't like he was he couldn't have been so hard working. He then gave Nessie a kiss on the forhead."I'll miss you!"
"I did Dad." she answered him blushing a little. Couldn't her dad leave her alone for a little. Didn't he get that parents were just embarressing. Her cheeks went even a brighter red as he gave her a kiss. This was not what she needed, not infront of all the other students. She waited for him to pull his head back so she could move away. People must have been laughing at her by now."I'll miss you too." she whispered quietly.

Amy sighed as her body pushed through the barrier, she ran a hand through her hair and then, finally on her own, pushed her trolly past the barrier and out to the train. She stood for a second astounded by its sheer mass and beauty, its body as red as blood with steam billowing from it's funnel and the words, the most beautiful words Amy had ever seen HOGWARTS EXPRESS, in a clear black script, highlighting her path for the year. Past all the poetic shiz, Amy felt a shiver run down her spine. This was her home. Granted, she had exams to "deal with" at the end of the year, but she would cross that bridge when she came to it.
As she was pushing the trolley she heard a familiar little voice and she turned to see Nessie with her...dad? Hmmm. Well, they were obviously having a moment. She didn't laugh but it was slightly funny. Just slightly...Oh, Nessie looked like she wanted to be saved.
Nessie! Amy called, making her way over, I thought that was you I saw
