She fell silent once again and was only paying attention to a frantic Eugine, when a man with a broad cheeky grin approached them. He's not a Quidditch Celebrity, or is he? Axel's questioning gaze narrowed the instant he introduced himself as Colin Mackenzie. She had seen his picture numerous times but seeing Colin in person was very strange. "Of course, you are." Axel commented as her gaze moved towards Skander, Eugine and Mr. Vindictus. She couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes when Mackenzie mentioned that his shades were hindering them from recognizing him. What a boaster. "You'd be pleased to know Mr. Mackenzie that you're here at the most fitting hour." She said, smiling at him sly.

"You can call me Skander, Mr Beckett makes me sound old," Skander said absently as he looked at the article he'd been handed. It didn't say he had been forfeiting matches at all, just that he may as well have been what with all the losses the team was taking at the hands of others.

About to hand the article back to Eugine and dismiss her to regular work, which DID NOT include reading the Daily Prophet during work time, a sentence caught his eye. A sentence which accused Colin MacKenzie of deliberately throwing the matches for a bribe... This was not good.

He was the face of this country’s World Cup Quidditch team! You’d think that he would be on most – no, that’s not right – all of those posters. Little Maxxie must have managed to somehow convince Rex to decorate the entire level like this.

Speaking of Rex, there he was! Giving one of the female employees a smile as he walked by, Colin gave her a little wave and continued to walk toward Rex and the employees who seemed to be discussing something with him. Hopefully they were talking about getting this place a decent makeover! But then Colin heard his name. “Yes, that would be me. I mean, sure these here might make me look like someone else,” he said, taking off his sunglasses (the things you have to wear to not be easily recognized these days!). “But I am indeed the one and the only Colin MacKenzie!”

"I hope that there is a reason for it. Eugine did you get down to the part of the article that is more serious than the part you apparently did read?" Skander asked the girl, eyes still fixed on the damning statement.

Hearing the most self-centered voice he'd ever had the displeasure of hearing Skander finally tore his eyes away from the page looking first at Axel's sly smile and then towards the man it was directed at. Colin MacKenzie. The man of the hour.

"Axel's correct you're here just in time." Skander told the man grimly. "I think that perhaps you and I should go to my office to have a private chat about something I've just read." he suggested, gesturing to his private office.

Antigone could see that the office was too busy to notice her standing there asking for their dept. head so she cleared her throat, shot a glance at the yummy quidditch player and simply turned on her heel and marched right out the door, being sure to drop Vindictus' coffee in the bin on the way out.

Suzanna made her way over to her division head when she heard her name being called. Sensitive? she thought to herself. What would be classified as...sensitive? It sounded different, and Suzanna was interested. "Sure, sounds good," she chirped, grinning. Sensitive?!

"Over here!" Rex called out to the woman who stepped into the chaos that was Level 7. Then he realized the man everyone was complaining about was standing next to him and resisted the urge to puch Colin in the arm. Hard. "I have a better idea, Skander. Gather the papers and let's head into my office."

"Well don't you think we should find out?" He asked as he looked at her and then he saw this man walk into the Work area, well at least he was at the other end of the room, he didn't want his employees distracted. "Well we also need to think of some rules before we decided on sponsor," He smiled. "Does anyone have any suggestion?"

"Of course sir," Skander said before turning back to Eugine and Axel. "Eugine, I want you to try and find any more papers mentioning Colin recently. Read through them and anything that you find that is similar to this article," he brandished the one he was currently holding, "place on my desk for me to look through once my meeting is done.

"Axel if you could work on finding a referee for the Cannons match against the Falmouth Falcons it would be much appreciated. The man who was meant to referee the match came down with something so we need a new one for Thursday." Skander explained before heading towards Rex's office.

Mark walked in to the work area and headed towards Tom. ''Good day sir, hows things?'' he asked with a smile. Mark seemed to like his new boss, though he had a strong relationship with Liam, Tom seemed like a really nice guy. Mark was in a good mood, he was getting married soon and had just returned to work from his coffee break!

Eugine glared at Colin and nodded at her boss. "Gotcha Skander." she began ruting through the old profits and searching for the jerk's Colin McKenzie.

Alina looked up at her three employees. She perched on the desk beside her, and laid the file on her lap. "Herod here has found an irregular case, and I'd like the three of you to work together, with me when necessary, to fill in the background and find out as much information as possible to present the case to Rex later."

She paused, and looked at them in turn. This wasn't the usual silly Patent, or adaption for a broom, or silly kids game. Alina wasn't sure exactly how serious this was, but it needed to be treated carefully. "Right, to give an overview... This is a Patent for a mask that appears to have the effect of the Imperious curse. Now, whether this is the curse or not is yet to be found - the diagram in this file looks slightly suspect with how the spells appear to fit together - but we do need to work quickly given the possible repurcussions. It is odd if this was to cause terror that the source has been put right into our lap by the inventor, however samples have been given out to Muggles."

She glanced down at the file, thinking of a plan of action. "I think we need to start by narrowing down where in London the masks are coming from, and get hold of one of the samples as soon as possible. Until we actually have one, it'll be very hard to determine the scale of what we have here. Could you get on to that between you? Start plotting points on a map..." She thought of what Rex had asked her to organise. "I also need someone to look through the files and see if anything like this has occured before. I'm guessing if there's anything it'll be over 5 years ago, as I don't recall anything more recent..."

With a quick flick of her wand, there was a duplicate file, and she handed it to the group. "Please keep this quiet to start - we don't need everyone getting into a tizz about it just yet. Not when we don't have good details... But do be careful." She looked serious to reiterate her point, before her face softened to her usual smile. "Let me know as and when you get some good information... Any questions?"

Tom looked at Mark. "Good day." He looked at the list. "Mark." He smiled. "Well things could be better seeing as we have some Gobstone teams refusing to play unless we change the rules and regulation." He sighed as he looked at his own glass walled room and wondered when he would get a chance to go and put his stuff in there, he hadn't been able to yet. "So does anyone have any suggestions on rules?"

"Ok. we'll get right on it!" he said with purpose. He now turned back to his fellow employees.

"Well, I hope that I'm not over-stepping, but I have the most experiecne and am most firmiliar with the filing system. So I'll take reviewing all the patents from the past to look for occurances. You two can work on the map. I would suggest looking here!" he said, pointing to word 'masquerade' in the file. You can start by looking up recent masquerade balls. There are usually a big deal, you know, really fancy pants things in the muggle world. They'd be well publicized" With that he turned and head toward the back room full of files.

Suzanna listened carefully to the explanation, nodding along and chewing on her lip to keep up. Masks...imperius curse? Plotting points...research? This sure sounded interesting, and very different indeed. "Alright," she replied, once she processed the information, and nodded her head once more to show she understood. "Can't wait to get started," she added, her face lightening up a little.

"Sure," Suzanna agreed, glad someone was taking charge. She was never good at that kind of stuff.

She found a pile of muggle newspapers in the back and began flipping through them, looking for articles on these "masquerades". She had never heard the term before, but she scanned through the pages curiously, until she spotted one on the second page of a newspaper from 3 days ago. "Here's one," she said, holding the paper out. "It's a masquerade from three days ago, in West London," she said.

"Rules are important."she said,she couldn't decide,all Gobstone players shoudl know the basic ruels and such,but what others rules are there?No fighting?Well dur. She went ot her computer and searched stuff up. "What kind of rules od you mean?"she said.

Rachel was back after a looooooong leave and she was sure that she had missed out on a lot of work. "Okay guys hello... what have I missed while I was away??" she said, with a guilty smile. She was really busy but she was also sorry that she couldn't come for work.

Tom looked at her and smiled. "Well how many chances do they get to hit the Gobstone, how many players in a team?" He was starting to get annoyed now. "That sort of thing." He looked around to see if there was anyone else from his Division around.

"Excellent! You....." he said pointing to the other man "...can either go with her stay here and work on that map by reading the file and newspapers and putting a red pin on any location that may have any relevence. Its up to you." Now he turned in earnest and went to review files.

Someone's testy she thought,she just turned and went back to typing.

she continued writing.

"Great." He smiled as she looked at what she was writing. "That looks good, see if you can add just a few more things and then I'll take it to Mr Vindictus
for him to look at." He looked around to see what else was going on.

Loris nodded, listening to the case as Alina explained. That WAS pretty serious, but he was ready for it. "None, thanks Alina." before taking a copy of the file and turning to the other two.

Alright, so the man was checking the files, and the woman was looking for stuff in the paper, as well as himself. Sounded like a plan. And she'd already found something!? He nodded his head and looked towards the woman, "I'd like to go along if you don't mind. I think it'd be a good idea for us to check out costume stores as well."

"This good?"she asked him,she really couldn't think of mroe,the people should know the basics by now.

Suzanna looked up while the other man spoke. "Sure," she agreed, nodding. Two heads were better than one, right? Wait...a costume store? How had she not thought of that?! "Do you want to start searching for costume stores near here?" she asked. "Maybe there are a few that specialize in selling masks," she suggested tentatively, not really knowing that much about costume stores. She pulled out a map of London so they could mark out the places.

"Oh, and I'm Suzanna by the way," she said. "What's your name?"

Axel's eyebrow slightly rose as she was given the task to search for a referee. That wouldn't be hard but then again, she hadn't researched enough about them yet. "..All right. I'll..find one." She said hesitantly and spun around to leave. Her heels were irritating her a bit, she had to walk too much today.

On her way back to her workspace, Axel accidentally bumped into a woman and nearly crushed her toe with her pink leopard print heels. Gentling brushing her hair away from her face, she frowned and rested her hand on the woman's shoulder, "I'm sorry, I was in a rush." She said as politely as possible before the woman's identity dawned upon her. "Oh! It's you Rachel." She slightly smiled at her and furrowed her brows at the girl's question. She didn't miss much but Axel could always help her catchup since Skander and her colleagues were busy. "Not much, really." She took the woman's hand; which was quite surprising, and led her towards her own cubicle. "Colin Mackenzie has been accused of throwing games on purpose. He has been accepting bribes." She said in a whisper so as not to draw unwanted attention to this topic. A smirk made it's way to her pink lips as she turned towards a cabinet and took out a heavy black binder, labeled 'Referees.'

Plunking it on her desk, she glanced at Rachel, "Need to find a ministry approved referee for an upcoming match. I can always use some help." She said, gesturing at the fat binder sitting on her desk. And with a huff, she began skimming through the pages until she stumbled upon the appropriate list as long as her arm.

Tom smiled as he looked at the work Annabeth had been doing. "That looks great." He said as he picked it up. "I'll take it too Mr Vindictus in a moment." He looked at her. "Anything else we need to find out or think about?"

Rachel smiled at Axel as she pulled her towards her own cublicle. "Slow down, Axel! Looks like I didn't miss much after all! Though can't imagine Colin mackenzie accepting bribes! So it's a huge job, looking up referees isn't it? "she said as she sat down on an extra chair next to Axel and started with the task. "..Now who do we have here?"
