If he didn't know the meaning of shame, Hades would've came prancing into the Charms classroom. Especially when it was his first lesson at Hogwarts! He was early, as usual as long as it wasn't History of Magic. In fact, he was the first to arrive. Professor Schirmer was already there, waiting at the front of the class.

"Good morning, professor! Nice seeing you again," greeted the Slytherin merrily before making his way to the front seat near the window. That shall be his permanent seat!

Nate burst through the door, shocked to see the Charms room so empty. For a subject so important, you'd think that more people would show up early. After all, every spell that can be done was, by extension, a charm. At least, in Nate's mind they were.

"Good day, Professor Schirmer!" he called excitedly as he slid into a desk situated front and center in the classroom. "How was your summer?" He had some time so socialize, might as well take it.

Selena skipped into the classroom with a big smile on her face. She had thought about bringing her pygmy puff but had ended up locking the puff in a cage. She didn't need Clarke eating Kent after all. She looked around the classroom expecting something spectacular. Why? No reason at all.

"Heeeellooooo Professor Schirmer!" Selena exclaimed, practically bouncing up and down as she greeted the professor. "I hope you had a good summer!" she added. Because they had just got back from their vacations.

She then skipped over to a desk in the middle of the room. Right in the middle. Because the middle was cool. Selena then proceeded in taking out a notebook and a quill.

Nothing like the first class of the term. And it seemed this year it was going to be a charms class as the announcements on the Gryffindor bulletin board pronounced. So when the time came, Gideon travelled down from the common room with his books and supplies in his sachel slung over his shoulder. Finally reaching the third floor and the correct door, the fifth year stepped inside and took in the room.

And the presence of the professor.

"Good morning Professor Schirmer," he greeted with a polite nod. Gideon then moved to take a seat at one of the middle desks, setting a parchment and quill on top to prepare for class to begin.

Harlow was really hoping this Charms lesson went better than her last Charms lesson. She took a deep breath and walked into the lesson.

She looked around at the chairs trying to see where the the best possible place to sit was. She didn't want to be right in the front and in the professor's glaring range. And she didn't want to be in the back where the sunlight didn't reach.

Harlow found a seat in the second row next to the windows. Good seat, her lucky seat.

The first class in this term. a Charms! Raven really loved the previous term class, especially the egg project. She walked enthusiast to the classroom. Last term Professor Schirmer gave them the egg assignment, and What's next?

"Professor Schirmer, Good day." she greeted politely. "I'm looking forward for your class." then she sat on the corner.

Sammy walked into the Charms classroom, a giant grin on his face. He was excited for this class because Wally always talked about how awesome Charms was. He hoped he was good at it though because if he wasn't that would be a disappointment. Oh well. Here goes nothing. "Hello Professor," Sammy said walking by with a grin. He sat down near the middle of the room and started to tap his foot. Maybe he shouldn't have had that sugary cereal for breakfast...

After finally settling into the Gryffindor Common Room again after a few months away on break, August had made his way over to check out the notice board and saw, with some excitement that his first lesson of the term would be Charms with Professor Schrimer.

Walking into the classroom was definately making his return to the school just that much better, he had really missed lessons and that was sort of sad to say as a fourteen year old. Auggie saw Professor Schrimer standing at the front of the room, looking much more cheerful than the last time he had seen her in Florean Fortesque's Ice Cream Parlor with Professor Scabior.

"Hello Professor Schrimer, enjoy the remainder of your summer?" he asked with a smile as he took a seat in the front row.

Butterfly come into the Charms room and said,"Hello Professor." She then sat near the back in the corner closes to the door on the left side. She was happy to be at her first lesson of the year.

Asher was so excited. His first lesson of his first year of Hogwarts. It was Charms. He simply bounced around with happiness, or maybe it was all the sugar quills he devoured the night before.

Either way he knew that he would love charms, and that it would be he's favorite lessons, besides Flying of course. Who wasn't looking forward to those classes? With all his energy it didn't take him long to make in from the Dungeons to the third floor.

He searched for the charms classroom. Standing in front of the door and walked on in. He should say hello to the professor, right? "Hello Professor." While he didn't know her name. He smiled and found a seat.

Jezzabelle walked into the classroom, smiled up at the Professor and said, "Hello Professor." She wanted to continue with and introduction including her name but she thought it wise to just sit and wait to be spoken to.

Oakey walked into the Charms classroom fully prepared and confident in himself for his first class of the year. He nodded at the Charms Professor then spoke Hello Professor. He would add her last name into their for their next lesson. He sat himself down in the classroom that was slowly filling up.

Taylor came walking into the classroom. My first class ever at Hogwarts!!! Hope it is better than Beauxbaton. SHe smiled excitely and sat down, "Hello Professor..." She realized that she didn't know any of her professors' names so just stopped talking there. Taylor got her things all ready to go.

Uggh, why had classes started already?! Even though just a day before he'd been eager to start classes, he was now wishing he had just a day or two more of summer. At least the first class was charms, and not ancient runes. Bleghhhhh!

"G'Day Professor," he said with a smile as he took his seat. Sigh. Time to pull out the parchment and quill and prepare for school to begin again!

Amethyst walked into the room, blushing as always. She was nervous, even though she had attended one of Schirmer's classes before. She smiled at the professor as she walked by, not wanting to be rude or anything. "Good Morning Professor..Hope your day is going well.." She noticed Butterfly and took the seat next to her waving, not saying a word. She didn't want to get she or Butterfly in trouble.

Charms. A class Amelia normally enjoyed, but one she wasn't so sure about right now. It was her first class at Hogwarts and she was nervous about it. Not only because she would be surrounded by people she didn't know and a teacher she wasn't used too, but also because she had no idea how she'd react in the classroom. Especially after having read the rules of the classroom, which stated that she wouldn't be able to get up out of her seat without permission... Maybe she should have spoken to the professor before class but she hadn't known where to go, and hadn't actually read said rule before today.

"Hello professor," Amelia said as she actually took the step into the classroom and found herself a seat. She wouldn't mention her claustrophobia unless she really had too. And so far she was doing okay. The only problem may come if there were too many people in the classroom.

"Hello Professor Schirmer! Nice to see you again," Tayla greeted as she entered the classroom and took a seat up front. Charms was her favourite subject and she was very excited.

"I hope I learn something this term that'll help me find the secret of my grandmother's locket..." she thought, touching the locket around her neck out of habit.

She took her Charms book, wand, quill and ink out of her bag and put them on her desk. She was ready to begin.

Kurumi had fussed with her bangs a bit more than she would have liked that morning. Fuss wasn't really the right word seeing as she had more been attempting to tame them from going in every which direction, but she had managed to get them to behave and had quickly dressed her her school robes, grabbed her bag, and headed down to the Charms Classroom.

Finding the door already opened, Kurumi entered and was pleased to see that so many of her fellow lions had already arrived. Her face brightening even more, Kurumi walked towards the front of the room. "Good day, Professor Schirmer," Kurumi said with a 100 watt smile and a polite bow before she set to putting her things on the table. First was her parchment, next her textbook, and simply out of habit she removed the small metal charmed ant that had hatched from her egg at the end of last term. It had served her well so far and Kurumi had taken to taking care of it just as she had done when it was in egg form, complete with daily polishings. He ought to stay in her bag during the lesson she supposed. "Professor, do you mind if Aristotle stays on my desk during the lesson?" she asked, pointing to the metal ant. Couldn't hurt to ask, right?

Taking her seat now, Kurumi smiled when she saw just who happened to have taken a seat beside her usual one. "Hello August," she said, adjusting the position of her quill over her parchment. She still needed to talk to him about...whatever it was he had hinted at during the opening feast, perhaps after the lesson was over?

No, Ellie was not going to drop a class just because she disliked the teacher. She'd grown more mature than that. But was she mature enough to put on a smile and greet the woman she disliked so much? No.

Which was why Ellie silently walked past Schirmer, avoiding eye contact, and took a seat in the back.

She just wanted to learn some charms today, okay? Okay.

Minerva walked into the classroom. First class of the new term her anxiety was up a bit. "Hello Professor" she smiled and then found her seat waiting for one of her friends to hopefully come soon.

Eino made his way to the first Charms lesson of the term surprisingly cheerful. He had spent a great deal of his summer thinking about what he would want to take his OWLs on and what he would want to do after Hogwarts, and decided that Charms was a must! He had to make this class one of his priorities, which sadly he hadn't until now, but he would consider himself a decent enchanter if he had to consider something of himself. "Good Morrow, Professor." The boy said as he approached the door, then proceeded inside. Once in the classroom, he took a seat, and placed his writing supplies on the table, along with the textbook, and waited.

Charms, charms, charms, charms.

Anya was going to charms!

"Hello Professor!" she said happily as she entered the classroom.

Her first magical lesson EVERRRR! She was excited. Very excited. She waved a bit to Asher when she spotted him.

Now. Where to sit? Maybe she should sit next to someone older? That would be better. That way they could help her if she did something wrong.

She looked around before spotting fellow Gryffindors Mr. August and Ms. Prefect. She took a seat in the row behind the two of them. This was close enough. She didn't know them well enough to sit beside them.

Sammy was prepared for this. She'd bought a new quill and everything. She was going to get better in all her classes she was determined. Mainly Charms, she'd only scraped an A in it for her OWLs so she was going to bring her grades up, and get Everett and Amy together. Those were her two goals for the year: Improve grades and get Evmy together. She thought they were pretty reasonable goals. So she entered the Charms classroom with a positive attitude "Good morning professor" she said brightly with a smile before taking a seat a row or two from the back. She then dug a notebook and quill out of her bag and waited for the lesson to begin, fiddling with a loose bit of hair that had fallen out of her blonde plait.

As August adjusted his school bag off of his shoulder and onto the floor beside him he watched as the chair beside his was occupied with is Gryffindor Prefect friend, Kurumi. "Hey, fancy seeing you here." he said as if they wouldn't see each other in their first lesson.

They both loved lessons. Duh.

He was pretty excited about Charms this term, not gonna lie. He had read a ton of his textbook over the summer and he was ready to try some spells even if Professor Schrimer didn't teach them.

"You ready for the lesson? I wish you luck." he lifted his quill out towards her...for a quill bump obviously. You know like 'Cheers' with goblets.
