Entering in the barnyard, you are greeted with the rows of gated stables. Those who have been in "The Stables" previously will first notice the absence of being first greeted by Winged Horses. Where could they be? Why they've just been moved even further down towards the opposite open double-doors for easier access. Instead of fully cleaned out stables before you however, you see new creature inhabitants. Some familiar-looking from earlier classes and outdoor playpens, some not so familiar-looking.. Nearby the stables you see the wall with pink-glittered gloves and apron by the refilling tray of food. It looks fairly cozy otherwise around here now.

Once again, it was a Saturday morning and Marsha was meeting Adi to spend some time with his Faeries and the other magical creatures that they had on the school grounds. She couldn’t believe that she was able to spend time with these amazing creatures and she was sure that she would try to behave throughout school at all times so that this privilege wouldn’t be taken away… It was too good to miss as far as the twelve year old was concerned.
Skipping over the flat grounds, she whistled happily as her pigtails bounced against her shoulders. She couldn’t wait to see Adi. He was always so much fun.
Teeeehehe.
Moving around to one of the big oak trees that grew just outside of the housing block, Marsha sat down her back against the bark as she waited for the older Huffie student. As she let her head fall back, she closed her eyes and simply let herself bask in the sun. Adi would know where to find her as he had shown her this spot the very first time they had come here together back at the start of term when she had gotten lost trying to get here.

It was a nice day for jogging out to the grounds. But everyday was a nice day, wasn't it? YEP! Adi sure thought so and this was why he decided to jog down to the Creature Housing to meet Marsha. Reaching the general area of the playpen and the Creature Housing, he remained running on the spot as he scanned the place for her. Maybe she wasn't there as- Nope! Strike that! There she was! By that tree he had shown her weeks before.
Grinning, the Puffer resumed his jogging but this time towards the Gryffindor. "Marshaaaaa!" he called out cheerfully as he approached her. Wooops! Was she asleep or something? He paused but still jogging in place to survey his younger friend. Wakey, wakey, Marsha!

Marsha tried to stay still. She tried to act like she was sleeping. Honestly she had… but with Adi being as hyper and giggly and fun as he was, he just pulled the giggles from her so easily.
So really, he knew very quickly that she hadn’t been sleeping since she was giggling madly on the ground. Grinning up at him she chuckled and bounded to her feet. ”Hi Adi!” she welcomed him wih a large smile and a soft giggle as she finally managed to stop the giggles.
”Where do you want to go first? Do you want to see your pixies first?” She asked as they started to walk towards the main building.

Adi would have been fooled by Marsha being still but then giggles escaped. "Someone's only pretending to be Sleeping Beauty!'' he joked and reached down to tickle the Lion in her side.
ALL those giggles! Wasn't Marsha such a happy and cheery girl? Adi approved of this. "Hello, Marsh! How's it going?'' Good question! WHERE did he want to go first? "EVERYWHERE!'' he replied without much thought and spreading his arms wide. Seriously, yo. Whenever he came to this place, he never knew exactly where he wanted to go first.
But Marsha had a suggestion! YAY! "Yes! Let's go see them! The last time I forgot to ask you if you wanted to name the taller one.'' Agatha had already named the shorter one Ana and he figured he would let Marsha do the honours for the other.
"Race you to them!'' Adi took off taking off in tiiiiiny strides.Marsha was awfully shorter than him, you see, and he wasn't silly enough to go off leaving her behind.

MORE GIGGLES! NOOOOO! NOOOOOOOO! NOT TICKLING! Marsha laughed, crying from the want for the tickling to stop but laughing and crying and squirming and NO STOOOOPPPPPPP!!!!
Gasping for breath as she stood up slowly, Marsha giggled until she managed to breathe again. Her hand clasped over her side where he had been tickling and she pouted. ”No fair, Adi! You know I’m tickly.” She accused him, wrapping her arms protectively around her waist as she pouted at him adorably.
”It’s good! I was practising my charms before I came to meet you.” She grinned at the man as she nodded she liked to think that she was REALLY getting better. ”I finally managed to get incendio to work for me, so I won’t need to ask anyone in potions to light my fire!” This was obviously huge for the young gryffindor who while managing to get charms and spells (etc) to work for her instantly… others seemed to come on very slowly. Not that she ever (ever) admitted defeat.
YAY! Faeries! Though, that thought was shortened as he said that she could name one. WHEEE. HOW COOL WAS THAT? She grinned wide at him. ”Really? Oh my Griffin! That’s amazing. Can I? Are you sure?” Wooooahhh. What would she pick? This was a big decision really, it needed careful consideration. Hmmmmmm….
She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn’t hear Adi say that he would race her until he had started jog!running towards the housing. Oh! GAME! Just like she had done with Zac months ago, Marsha took off at a sprint. Granted, Adi was bigger than her - but he was being nice and not really running… which was kind of funny. Hehehe. She caught up with him and then jogged alongside him… and then took off, sprinting as much as she could to beat Adi.
They never stayed full for very long and the stables housed all form of creatures, perfect for an evening snack.
Out of the shadows they came, scurrying across the floor. One large and one small were looking for something tasty to eat. Eyes settled on fairies first, the smaller of the two taking one, and then another. The larger went for another meal; the mournful looking bird having no idea it was about to be dinner until it was too late.
Once fed, they disappeared into the darkness, leaving only the absence of the creatures behind them.
Puck made her way down to the creatures holding area because hello? She wanted to see how her little Nyx and Titania were doing. As she made her way into the creatures holding area she couldn’t help but notice that there was something off. Very off.
What with the fact that it was winter and looked like it was going to rain or snow maybe? And still, there was no sound from the Augurey’s in the holding area. Not really paying attention Puck just walked further into the holding are and couldn’t help but notice that even the Puffskeins and Nifflers in their housing areas looked unsettled…everything looked unsettled so she walked faster and saw it.
Well, didn’t was more like it.
“Oh Merlin where are they?” She muttered and noticed that the Fairy Jars were empty, all of them. “Titania? Nyx?” She called out and looked around before grabbing her wand and holding it at the ready incase they had all escaped, which was what she had hoped of course.
Still, she quickly walked past the areas and gave little Azalea a nod before walking out of the holding areas and heading straight for Professor Thompson’s office.

After leaving Scotty's hut Leo took the short walk over to Javy’s haunts. There was no use wasting time. And if he didn’t see his friend now, he wasn’t sure when he’d be able find the time to go see Javy since his days were pretty much booked up with work in the library as well as his other responsibilities. Assuming that Scotty would follow him over eventually, he entered the seemingly quiet creature housing area. “Javy, are you in here?” Leo called out. It was better to discern if his friend and colleague was in the creature housing area before he went down and disturbed the creatures in their stables. If he wasn’t down here Leo would try for better luck in the barnyard or the playpens. When Scotty came over they had something possibly important to discuss.

Adi laughed with Marsha as he tickled her. It was actually her laughing that had him doing that. Oh, gosh! She was crying too! Well, he knew they weren't tears of sadness or anything but rather from all the tickles and the reactions she was having to them. It was best to stop now. Hehe.
Oh, yeah! He did know Marsha was awfully ticklish. "I just thought I would wake you up,'' he explained with a wink. "I think it did the job better than an alarm clock.'' She DID look fully awake though Adi knew she had not really been sleepy. And look at her pouty face! He laughed again and pinched her cheek lightly. Firsties were such fun!
And hard working apparently. The Hufflepuff supported this Charms practice. "Awesome, Marsha!'' How about a high five? He held up a hand for one. "Keep up the practice. Hey, if you need help you know where to find me.'' No, wait. He was always allll around the Castle and Grounds so he wouldn't be that easy to find sometimes. Heh. Marsha could always ambush him between classes.
"Of course I'm sure,'' Adi said happily. He could tell Marsha was totally up for the idea and could practically feel the wheels turning in her head already. ''Got any name ideas already? Oh, I should probably tell you it's a girl fairy.'' You know, just in case she came up with a guy name.
Yay! His tactic worked and Marsha caught up with him. They jogged for like a second or two together before she overtook him. He laughed and called out, "Hey! Wait for me! You're so fast!'' Of course he could catch up with her in an instant but he decided to let her have the moment. They were almost to the fairies anyway.
It took some time and a bit of internal convincing but Scott was out the door and bolting after Leo. It wasn't a question whether or not he'd have to go see the Creature Professor and the man would rather not have to go walking the grounds by himself. It wasn't safe. Nevermind he didn't know what he saw, the Scottsman didn't want to know, not one bit.
The Groundskeeper panted as he made his way into the housing area. The scent was hardly what his lungs needed after being deprived for so long but he would have to cope, pushing his hair that had fallen into his face.
All this sweat, he would have to deep condition when he got back. Look at it, all limp now, no bounce. Damnit all.
Just as he finally caught his breath, the man turned and noticed the empty fairy enclosure. INSTANTLY he nudged his colleague. "Do ye reckon Javy took 'em ou' fer some exercise an' left th' other creatures?" Only explanation he would allow himself to think about. Not even gonna COMMENT on the empty bird stand. Everything was normal. Just BREATH Scott.

Missing Fairies and Augureys, that was what Professor Thompson was going on as he and Miss Greyvson left his area to check out the enclosed housings. It wasn't much of a walk usually but right now it was rivaling a marathon as he considered the options.. Right after noticing the Librarian and Groundskeeper before him and the Gryffindor Prefect. "Leo, Scott.." Have to forgive his temporarily disregard on formalities given the word he just received. "What brings you two-" His eyes followed to where Scott was looking at. From this distance it was indeed empty.. but what was that faint buzzy humming noise coming from if not there? "here.. You two haven't seen the fairies around here have you?" Assuming they were here long enough. "Or anything else of that matter?"

Leo convinced himself to take a little stroll to look at what interesting creatures Javy kept in his stables now that he was actually here and already standing on the doorstep to the creature housing. It seemed like a waste to not have a little look even if Javy wasn’t present. Leo hadn’t come that far into the housing area before he heard the panting and heavy breathing behind him that turned out to belong to Scotty.
He was just about turn to look at the bird stands when he felt a sharp nudge in his side. Turning to look at what Scotty was looking at; meaning the gapingly empty fairy enclosure Leo gaped and then shrugged. "I suppose it's possible that Javy could have taken the fairies out for some exercise or he could have just moved them to another area while he cleaned their enclosure undisturbed." Leo also noted the empty bird stand but he didn't have time to point that out to his colleague before they were joined by Javy and Puck, one of the Gryffindor prefects.
Leo exchanged a glance with Scotty before he responded to Javy's question. "Hello Javy, actually we came here looking for you, when we noticed the very empty fairy enclosure. I take it you haven't moved the fairies to another area to be able to clean their enclosure?" It was okay to not be so formal right?
Turning his attention to Puck he said "Hello Puck, are you here to help Javy care for the creatures in the housing area?" Or had she seen the empty fairy enclosure and gone to alert Javy like a responsible student leader?

Still pouting well, as much as someone who smiles so much can, Marsha sighed off Adi’s excuse for tickling her. No fair. Still, it was funny… even if she hated it at the time. ”I don’t think I’d like to be woken up by being tickled though.” She added as they stood up.
High fiving Adi back, she grinned madly at him. She had been super proud of herself. She was trying to advance with her magic… even the things she seemed to get in class. They never came instantly to her, so she made a promise to herself to work on them until she could do them. She hoped that working hard this year would aid her magic and her learning in the future. Hopefully. ”Thank you! My aunt’s and Cutty and Puck have all said the same.” That got a huge grin, she loved how nice and friendly the older members of the school were. Just what she had hoped for.
”Hmm…. Well, my cat is called Duchess and my horse is called Chestnut.” She said as they jogged the rest of the way to the pens. She looked over her shoulder the three steps to Adi and laughed. She knew he could catch her if he wanted to, she wasn’t silly… but still, it was nice to FEEL fast and tall even if she wasn’t. ”I think I’ll need to see her first.” she said, nodding her head. Yup, that was the only way to name any animals or pets.
Puck sent nods toward Professor Kitridge because well, he was always nice wasn’t he? Of course she couldn’t leave out Grounds Keeper Maclaren. “Hello Professor Kitridge, Grounds Keeper Maclaren,” Puck smiled toward the two as she didn’t exactly know how she was supposed to react in such a situation.
When Professor Kitridge asked her about her intent she just gave a sent a sad look over toward the empty fairy enclose. Turning her attention back toward the librarian. “Sadly, I was in here earlier to look after faeries when I noticed they and the Augurey’s were missing? Possibly?” She informed and chewed her lip.
“Hopefully they just escaped and are hiding in the rafters,” she sighed and smiled over to the group because really it was important to be hopeful.

They...were talking like they honestly didn't know where the fairies had gotten off to. Missing? Fairies and a bird were missing? AND THEY WERE ALL STILL STANDING HERE BECAUSE???
The Scottsman found his breath becoming more ragged as he thought it through. Something dashing by his hut and creatures suddenly not where they should be. "I's th' thing! I's back! Empty..
Though the Creature Professor managed to remain quite a calm demeanor, his blue eyes told differently when they blinked. As for the question if he had personally taken them out. "I'm afraid not.." It had been weeks since he had last done so to help with fairy wing supplies for Cosgrach. But of course in between that time their wings had already been fully grown since he last checked yesterday.
Javy was just going to push certain thoughts aside to get to searching... after getting a handle of Scott as he gripped his shoulder firmly. " Hang on, no one's going to die here as long as-" He then felt a sharp tickled brush across his face. It was like a large fly had just... no. Was it? Yes, it was the fairies. "Looks like it.." Or some of them. Hiding from what? Well, he wasn't going to think about that just yet. "Quick, Miss Greyvson, please assist us and grab an empty jar from their enclosure so we can capture them again." Removing his own hand.
One thing was for certain if there was one flying around, there was bound to be more as Fairies enjoyed the company of their own. Javy waited on Leo and Scotty before taking one out of the enclosure.. Already there was a whole colorful flock of them as he searched around and up............ to see one of the Augureys at the very top beam. Almost shivering. "Susie.." How peculiar, she was never around without Eddy by her side unless.. "Let's get the fairies safe in a jar and then use them to get her down after." He last commanded before using his jar to scoop two random ones that just happened to float by him.

I's back! Nothin's safe aroun' here, we got t' leave while we still can!" His eyes darted all over the ground, as if he expected something to jump out at them immediately. "Don' think I ever mentioned this befor' bu' I'm sure I'm too young t' die, I'm jus' too--" Hang on. Stop. Scott pipped down immediately when he saw one, then another then another fairy float back into view.
Well then... "Huh...guess th' little laddies were hidin'."....Actually. Come to think of it...that didn't make him feel any better AT ALL. Only left one question. Hiding from what??

Glancing over at Puck he connected the dots "Oh, so you noticed the fairies being missing and then went and told Professor Thompson? That was very good of you." Something even worth awarding a few house points for Leo thought. But that was later. They had to focus on the now. Smiling he nodded "Hopefully you are right Puck and that they are all in the housing somewhere just not where they should be." He didn't want to think about if they had escaped or worse been stolen. No he wasn't going there yet.
Leo was turning to ask Javy for possible favourite places for the creatures aside from their enclosure's when Scotty got hysterical again, babbling about what had frightened him earlier and the need for them to desperately leave and hide. "Scotty sna-" Leo was on the verge of telling Scotty to snap out of it since they weren’t leaving until they had solved the mystery when first one fairy and then a whole flock reappeared as well as one of the augreys. "It's a giant relief to see that they were just hiding and not gone."
Taking his wand out like Javy instructed Leo started the task of capturing fairies alongside Javy and dropping them in the jar hopefully Scotty would join them. Scotty could explain his hysterical outburst when the fairies and the augreys were back safely in their stables.

Adi was inclined to agree. He had read somewhere that the body thought that tickling was torture... or something like that. Anyway, it was the reason you could tickle yourself and not feel lit. The body wasn't threatened by you tickling yourself. "Luckily you don't have me as an older sibling. I would have woken you up like that.'' The Hufflepuff was kidding, of course. Oh! Marsha already had other persons encouraging her too! That was great!
...............
The duo arrived at the pens with Adi looking around for his fairies' assigned stable. He had 'finally caught up to her but now he took a a break at checking for the stable to put his hands on his knees. "You gave me quite a work out there. Do you want to become an athlete when you're done with school?'' he asked as he huffed and puffed. Hehe. Adi liked playing around with the younger students. They were so much fun.
But back to looking for the fairies! He quickly found them or rather, they found him for they as usual zoomed out, fluttered around his head before settling in his messy black hair. They made that humming sound which to Adi sounded like it was a tone of excitement. "Hey, guys! How's it going?" More humming and buzzing. ''That's great! Guys, I'd like you to meet Marsha. Marsha, these are my fairies Ana, she's the short one. The taller one hasn't been named yet.'' And that's the one Marsha would be naming. "With names for your pets like Duchess and Chestnut, I bet you'll come up with a good one for her.'' Adi grinned as Ana hovered in front of Mrasha as though studying her. the taller one however, remained among his hair.
These blokes were something else. You tell them terrible things would eat them and their first thoughts are save the fairies. It fit right in with the ridiculousness that was this school. So much so that Scott could only SIGH heavily and grab a jar while muttering.
If whatever it was did come back, here's to hoping it took one of them instead of him.
Pesky little things these were too. It wasn't easy but somehow he'd managed to get some into the jar. The way his eyes constantly flew back to the floor could hardly go unnoticed with the frequency with which he did it.
Didn't matter that the fairies were safe and sound now, the fact they were hiding to begin with was enough to spoke him. "Reckon tha's all tha' can fit into this jar so 'm done." And they were about done too? This place was giving him the creeps with every minute they stayed catching fairies and making themselves sitting bait.

Marsha rolled her eyes at Adi, even if she was laughing at his show. ”Don’t be silly Adi! I know you are probably faster than me!” The twelve-year old shook her head at him, as her giggles came under control. ”Though, it was nice to win for once.” Yup, small legs normally meant there wasn’t a change the Welsh girl was winning a running race.
Marsha’s eyes lit up once again as she saw the fairies. Ana and …. Hmmmm. As Marsha looked at the fairies. It didn’t help that Ana was the one looking her over, and hovering in front of her - while the one that she was attempting to name had settled in Adi’s hair. Though - he did look funny with her in his hair.
Hmmmm.
As she thought about a name, she grinned at Ana. ”Hi Ana, how are you today?” She said, looking directly at the fairy; wondering if she would go cross-eyed looking at it due to how close she was. Hmmm.

Hmmm. Names Names Names.
Haha! Adi just had to laugh at that. Yes, he was silly at times and he did enjoy being so. He was never going to grow up to be one of those always serious, no fun persons. "I don't know what you're talking about, Marsha.'' Awh, she didn't win much races? "Well, you did this time!'' He held up his hand as though he were holding a mic but the only difference was that his wand was filling in for this. "Annnnd our winner is first year Marsha Hanover, overtaking sixth year Adi Rehman with an incredible burst of energy on such short legs! Well done, Marsha! For your prize you get to name a fairy!''
Gosh, he was seeing that he was good with kiddies. Maybe it was because he was still one at heart. Anywayyy, Ana seemed to really take a liking to the Gryffindor. Adi laughed again as his friend's eyes were almost crossed from looking at Ana. The fairy fluttered and hummed loudly. "She says she's quite well and that she likes you.'' Hehe. Fairy whisperer here! Ana fluttered onto Marsha's shoulder so Adi decided it was a good time to have the unnamed meet the girl.
"She's a little more cautious,'' he explained as he bent his knees a bit so that Marsha and the fairy on his head could be almost at each other's eye level.

It was after lunch and Zhenya wanted to check on her griffin, Vaska. Well, perhaps she shouldn't call it HER griffin. Zhenya hoped the little thing was still doing well from when Zhenya had left her, after feeding her and everything. Zhenya went into the barnyard stables and peered over to look for her Vaska, and there she was. Aww. She hadn't grown at all.
And look, the little griffin knew who she was. Her eyes locked onto Zhenya's and she came over to the seventh year, who picked her up carefully. "Hey girl," she said to the griffin softly. She gave her a soft pat, and let Vaska say hello by playfully clawing at her arm. "Let's get you warmed up and fed, yeah?"
Zhenya didn't feel the need to use as much magic today, being on her feet, so she walked over to where a pile of blankets were and wrapped one over Vaska, who didn't seem fussed by it. That was good. Blankets are friends, not enemies.

Time to visit his baby griffin!
Since there's no class that he had to attend after lunch, the Korean boy decided to visit his friend... Got it? He named his baby griffin Chingu, which means friend in Korean. Hehehe. That's enough, Jackson. Now he could spend more time to take care his baby griffin so that's why he brought a small ball to play with it.
Wait, Professor Thompson let the students play with the baby griffins, right?
Entering the creatures pen, Jackson walked to the griffin's stable and looked for Chingu. "Ya, Chingu!" He shouted as his chocolate brown eyes spotted the griffin that he had taken care. Glad that it looked fine. He cracked a smile and patted his head. "D'you miss me? I know you do." And it seemed like he's not the only student here since there was a Slytherin girl too.. Oh, he knew that girl. "Hey Noona." He greeted that girl (and for the record, Jackson insisted to call her noona because he couldn't pronounce her name correctly). "Is that your griffin?"

AT THE HOGWARTS YULE BALL, YOU'LL BE HANGING OUT WITH....__________________
It's a fairytale evening, and you want the entire event to be totally dazzling and
a real experience with the friendliest people around you.
Ilia had woken up very early to go see the baby griffins again. She was so happy that the professor was letting them continue caring for the babies, she couldn't keep herself away from them. Now that it was lunch break she wandered down to the stables again. She brought a small lunch of fruit for herself to eat on her way once she was done here, but her primary concern was for Sindri. She knew that the professor would take care of her no matter what, but there were so many charges for him to care for. That individual and lengthy affection session that she could give the baby would be helpful and hopefully make the little ball of fur and feathers happier. Being a co-parent for her and Henric's toad already, she knew that shared attentions were enriching to the creatures lives.
Walking into the pen, she grabbed a blanket and called for her charge gently. "Sindri......Sindri...." She looked around amongst the babies until she saw one with a feather cowlick as it changed to fur. Yup. That was her baby! "Sindri love, are you ready for lunch?" She cooed at the baby and sat down in front of her. "Come here little one, lets get you all warm and fill that tummy, hmm?" She tickled the excitable little creature as she wrapped her up in her blanket and held her for a moment. She would enjoy the cuddles while the baby stayed small enough to do so. As she played with her feathery / furry baby like before, she started prepping and making the bottle with her free-hand. It seemed to be a good system for this particular ball of creature baby joy.
