Ellie only knew of, like, three different dinosaurs. And they were taken. Aaaand she wasn't talking to Saylen anyway, in case she hadn't noticed already. So...yeah. No talking.

She did take pictures, however. Of the bones, of course.

Soon after Chloe had signed the paper and joined the circle she heard a pop and felt like her whole body was being squeezed when she arrived she felt slightly ill but quickly recovered sring the beauty of the inside of the museum as she folloed the professor deeper in upon given instruction. She saw the sight of a large model of a dinosour and was transfixed for a moment looking up. She came to her senses and luckilly the professor was not far gone. She heard the professor ask to give her the name of a dinosour. She raised her hand and said, "I rather like the Tyranasourus Rex cause they were so powerful", Chloe said with a grin.

His eyes were now on Arya, and he was almost on the verge of laughter, they had said 'Velociraptor' at the same time.

Hufflepuffs. What were the odds? Between a whole bunch of different dinosaurs and the two of them say the same one?? "Arya! Stop reading my mind!" he said, almost in a jokingly manner, but he was slightly preoccupied, is that how she got suspicious of Ellie in the first place? Because Arya was wandering into his mind? Was that her ultra secret power??

The boy actually wondered if they all would've said the same name if Aaron was there with them...

He turned to face her, "Tell me what I'm thinking now...or name another dinosaur." He wasn't changing his answer. Tsk. She should let him have the fiercest little dinosaur ever.

Belle couldn't believe they were in a musuem! She loved going to them! She was in awe by the scenery and just loved learning about histroy. As they reached the dinosaur section, she loved it! "I know some of them professor!" Belle finally said. "There are some like the Tyranosaurus Rex, Stegasarous, Triceratops, and there is some called the long necks! but i don't know their scientific name." she giggled. "At least i know some history because my parents took me to museum when i was younger." she thought to herself.

Arya could have fallen over from looking up at the dinosaur when she started giggling at her and Treyen naming the same dinosaur at the same time. And it was a good thing she'd straightened herself when he spoke else she would have fallen over from the giggling.

"I'm reading your mind? Your reading my mind!" Obviously they had been spending SO much time together that they were starting to read each other's mind. Obviously. Though it didn't explain why she couldn't read Sabel or Ivory's mind. Maybe it was a house thing? Hm. They would have to test it out again. Next time with Aaron.

She'd stopped her spinning to look at him with a wide grin. "Your thinking that Velociraptors are awesome." Duh. "Awesome and small and fast and incredibly intelligent." For dinosaurs that is. She poked her tongue out at him. "Why should I name another one? I think you should name another one." That was the gentleman thing to do, right? Right. Arya wiggled her fingers at him.

His eyebrow was raised. Oh, yes, it was. Because it was rather obvious that she was reading his mind and not the other way around, after all, he'd been the one to accuse her of doing so. Kind of. 'Accuse' is such a harsh word, though.

"I...," he frowned, he couldn't read minds, but he wasn't sure he wanted to, "...don't read minds, Arya." Otherwise, well, he'll know if Saylen was out to get him or something, no?

Eyes narrowing at his friend, because he'd been thinking about the little, and fierce, dinosaur...the boy started laughing at her next response. Completely forgetting about the mind reading thing now, "Because...," I'm the shortest of the two, "...why should I?" yes, brilliantly played, Lockhart. "And that's my favorite." It seemed he could relate, no? Yeah, yeah, he was soooo like a dinosaur. Not.

"Nor do I Treyen." Read minds that is. The only powers she had were those that allowed her to preform magic. Reading minds or seeing the future was not something she could do.

Giggling again, she shrugged her shoulders lightly. "Because..." He was a gentleman, like all her friends. "Its the right and nice thing to do." Sure he was the shortest of the two, but she was the fastest, which meant he should change his answer. Of course it was his favorite. It was her favorite, which meant it had to be his as well. They weren't best friends for nothing. "My favorite first." Obviously. Hehe.

"No, ofcourse not. Go ahead and draw them." Yes, dooo it. "If anyone else wants to draw them, go ahead aswell."

Hm.
Maybe he ate too much candy before coming here. "Yes...some dinosaurs had wings. Like the Quetzalcoatlus." Yäää, superawesome Mexican sounding name.

"Ah, yes indeed. Very big dinosaurs, they were." She nodded at both the girl and boy. "Good answer."

"Yes, a Lapparentosaurus was quite...large aswell." So yeah, most dinosaurs were huge."Nice one."

"Velociraptors, yes. Good answer, Miss Lockharts." More nodding. And...ppft, was Treyen trying to show off? "Quite right, Mister Lockhart." Showoff. Hehe.

Okay. Maya had asked for one, but sure, tell her four instead. "Very good, Miss Lecium."

Hehe. "Yes, the T. Rex was quite the fierce dinosaur. Good one."


Speaking of T. Rexesss...
"Very good everyone. If you all come with me, I think there might be someone who wants to meat you." Hehe, geddit? Meat? 'Cause of the food? Meat?

Oh, they'll get it... As soon as they'd round the corner and see that GIANT lifesize youngling T. Rex animatronic, roaring in a corner. The animation robotic dinosaur was quite intimidating, and realistic, atleast to Maya.

There was a fence around it, so you couldn't actually touch it, but it was close enough, si?

OOC: Feel free to have your characters freak out a little, atleast until Maya says to calm down. Though don't go overboard. No jumping over the fence thing, and no magic... Running around and shouting is fine.

Don't break anything or anyone.

Chad had noticed Treyen in the crowd and he offered the young boy a wave. But...what was this? He was holding a lady's hand? My my, how cute!

Chad gave Treyen a thumbs up.

Dinosaurs. :3

Jaina was in complete awe. She could not believe she was looking at an animitronic t Rex!! She had read about these in her books. Oh! She forgot Belle and Charley might not have seen one at all. She gave them both looks of reassurance that it was not the real deal. She adjusted her head kerchief to make sure her hair was still covered. Thanks to Charley, she had kept it safe so far and gotten it back to it's natural red curls...not that anyone noticed.

Nika went around the corner and gave out a scream of fright. "AHHH! A real Dino-dinosaur!?!?! I thought they were supposed to be extinct!" Nika ran back in fright. She was only eleven so this behavior was sort of expected. Nika took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "Calm down Nika. It's behind a fence. It can't hurt you. Nice dino, nice dino." Who was she kidding this is a T-Rex! A T-Rex is NOT a "nice dino". She ran up to her professor and showed her concern.

"Err professor? It won't hurt us will it!?! Can't it break through the fence?" No sooner had she said it that everything finally hit her. "OH NO! It's going to break the fence and EAT US!!!" Nika jumped up and down frantically and hid behind her professor. If it can't see me, it can't eat me right?

As the class moved on to the Dinosaur exhibit Salander caught sight of the Groundskeeper. He nudged Alice and pointed to the man. Cool! Maybe they can pass by an exhibit with prehistoric trees and they could give the Groundskeeper an idea of how tall the Treehouse really was.

With Lexi's hand in his they looked around the glass cases and and the assembled skeletal remains and even enjoyed watching the animatronic T-Rex. On hearing Professor Saylen's question-- who enviably was sipping coffee-- he raised his hand to give an answer only to be blurted out by Treyen first. Hmpf. He raised his hand again and another hollered out the T-rex. He huffed a bit as his eye caught one of and interesting albeit odd looking skull "A Triceratops Professor. That over there, its a dinosaur that noted for having horns in the middle of its face..... much like the present day Rhino.

They weren't alive? But she JUST said they were! If the Professor was trying to confuse her, then it was totally working. Evelyn, was thoroughly confused, and frightened. Were the dinoswore bones alive or not!?

And there the Professor went again, proving to Destiny that they were called Dinoswores instead of Dinorawrs. She even enunciated it for the Slytherin girl. HA!

"Dinoswores." she replied back, gesturing up to the Professor. Mmhmm, did her friend hear her this time? Evelyn would've totally washed Destiny's ears out with water but for one, she couldn't use magic and two, she had no idea where to get water in this place.

However, as they came to an area where there were even more dinoswore creatures, the Slytherin became kinda...statue like. Were they alive? Or fake? Whyyyyyyy did the Professor have to confuse her so much!? Now she was paranoid!

That one...that one was staring at her.

Following the rest of the students, the Professor, and the meanyFrench Man, staaaaaring at all the alive fake whatever creatures, her hazel eyes widened even more in shock at the sound of actual rawrs. OMG! DINOSWORE!

"You said they weren't alive!" The Professor was trying to get them eaten!! Destiny! Destiny...where was the girl?

Ah! There was was. Destiny! Stand in front of her! QUICK!

At the RAWR, Chad cowered a little. He edged in behind Maya a bit, as if putting a barrier between him and the dinosaur. As if he was saying 'EATHERFIRST'. And yeah, he knew the thing was fake...but the RAWRing and then moving...it seemed so real!

And this was interesting, especially since, in his lifetime, he had taken on werewolves, chimaeras, sphinxes. You name it.

And here he was. Spooked by a latex T-Rex.

looking at the bones "Ms. how come people dont find the remains of outher things like we have in the forest at school" thinking bout the odds of some guy just finding a dino the died 100 million yr ago laying in the ground had to be as good as finding a hippogriff that died 200yr ago ??

SEE? They were obviously hanging out too much now that the professor was calling her Miss Lockharts. Which was weird considering that she hung out with Sabel more than anyone, and that they'd already established they didn't care for each other in that manner. Maybe the professor didn't mean it that way? Shrug.

She wasn't gonna stop hanging out with her trio buddy, that was for certain.

Skipping Following behind the professor and groundskeeper, she almost jumped back in surprise at the animatronic creature. Well, not almost, she did jump back in surprise, and knocked into someone in the process. Mumbling a small apology, she kept her eyes locked on the creature that looked real at first glance.

...But it was just a fake. She knew that now and bit back the slight embarrassment at her initial reaction. Was this....? Hm. She slid by the other TERRIFIED students and professors to get closer, as close as possible. Though she did hesitate to make SURE it was fake before standing by the fence.

Almost leaning on the fence, she examined the creature with a curious expression. "Professor, did they use this in the movies?" Did she know??

Yes, nice dinorawr indeed. Nice in the aspect that the Lapparentosaurus didn't eat meat and if they were alive today, Destiny would have been able to touch it and possibly ride it. And they were quite large so she would be much bigger than everyone. And she would totally honk her horn so everyone would look at her.

But then again, she would be riding a dinorawr, so people would look at her anyway.

Not able to tell the difference between meat and meet, Destiny followed behind the Professor, at her very slow pace so she wouldn't accidentally set off magic, and when they stopped in front of a REAL LIFE DINORAWR, she almost died.

Almost died. They were in a muggle place and she would have breeched the statute if she died and came back to life.

Destiny didn't even have time to enjoy the real life dinorawr because Evelyn was ruining it! With her talk about dinoswores. "Dinorawrs." she stated plainly, never taking her eyes off the T-Rex in front of her. Hehe, it was moving!

And it had a big head and little arms.

Mimicking the dinorawrs arm movements, Destiny was just about to take a few step closer to rawr at it, when she was being attacked!! Attacked by Evelyn. Heaving quite a large sigh, she turned around so she was looking right at her friend.

If she couldn't rawr at the dinorawr..

"RAWRRRRR!!!"

In your face. Quite literally.

Enjoying...enjoying was nice. Good company, and great coffee. "Ah, yes," get to know people, "I am sure they are happy to have you around." Hadn't he worked with creatures before? "Yes, this would have been an even greater trip if the animals weren't so...lifeless." At this she wrinkled her nose and looked at the bones once more.

"Very good, Mister Salander." Yes indeed. "A very strong dinosaur, specially with the horn." Mmmmmhmm!

"That is a good question. And they have." Maybe she should've taken them to that museum instead. "They have found magical creatures from a very long time ago. There are probably some books about it in the library."

Extinct? So people might think. And now the girl was shoutiiing, "Settle down, Miss Adler-" did that work? Well, the girl seemed to be hiding, or something?

Oh dear.

"No it will not hurt us." I hope. "Relax, take some deep breaths and it will all...be better." Mmm, yes.

Even through the load ROAWRRRrring, Evelyn's voice, along with the other students screaming, could be heard quite clearly. "Miss Flores, it is not alive!" Weeeeell... "Sure, alive with electronics, but it cannot go anywhere-" ...although anything was possible...

She was going to say more, but suddenly stopped as she felt something shuffle closely behind her. Somewhat nervous for a moment, imagining a Velociraptor ready to attack, her coffe papercup crumpled slightly under her hand pressure. But, turning around, she blinked, seeing the Groundskeeper.

"Hello." Really. That's what she chose to say? Eh. "I bet you never controlled one of these in the Ministry." She offered him an akward smile, but actually grabbed his arm with her free-coffee-hand when the T. Rex roared like RAWWWWWWRRRRr!

"Ay, Merlin."

Yeah, dragons and blast ended skrewts she could take. This - was another story.

Seeing Arya get closer to the fence thing, Maya somewhat relaxed, remembering it was indeed a fake dinosaur. Maybe. But she almost wanted to grab the girl's hand and back her away from the roar-er. Heh. "Uhm..." Movies? "They might have." Sure, why not. "I is probably the same technology." Right?

What the.

"Girls, don't RAWR- roar..." growl? "...uh, at eachother!" R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Remember? Like the song. She'd play it for them sometime. Perhaps.

Nerida rounded the corner and jumped up and scream loud and long Ahhhhhhhhh........Oh my..its a..a.a.a.a.a.a.a.a.....DINOSAUR!!! She put out her hand on the fence and said Wow! It amazing...I wonder...Starting to get into her zone of Ravenclawness...

"Merlin!" That was a dinosaur RAWRRRING in front of her. The professor said they weren't alive, but why was one standing in front of her then?!?!?!

K-Lee mid panic, screamed. "PROFESSOR WHY IS THERE A DINOSAUR STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF US?!?!?!" She hid behind a signpost for a nearby dinosaur fossil, a dinosaur that wasn't alive!

She was completely scared to pieces. Breathing hard, she peeked out from behind the sign. Dino still there and RAWRRRING? Yep. Safe for her to continue her panic. Yep.

Dinorawr...Dinoswore...pfft. Whatever. If Destiny wanted to say it wrong, then Evelyn says...let the girl say it wrong! She wasn't going to be the one to look and sound funny when saying a commonly known word differently then everyone else. Pffffft.

Moving her frightened observant gaze from the ALIVE dinoswore and to Destiny, Evelyn frowned for a moment before standing up straight, having...kinda hid behind the girl. What? What's with the starin-MEEP! O___O!!

Jumping in horrifying and shocking surprise, the Slytherin stood quite still for a moment, staring at the evil snake in front of her. Scowl. We scowl at you! "Don't DO that!" And you get a smallish shove! Right on the shoulder.

Shove.

Whaaat!?

SEE!? There she went again. Confusing the girl to no end. Was it alive or not?! No. It was alive. It was alive with elecktrinots! "Destiny!" she whispered...loudly.

DESTINY!

"Did you hear that?! They're alive with elecktrinots." The dinoswores were allliiiivvvveee! "How much do you think we could sell them for if we captured one?" Probably a lot. You don't see these things in the wizarding world! Or...the muggle world for that matter. Then again, these things lived a billion years ago or whatever the Professor said.

They were antique creatures! And antiques were worth a lot, right?

Now this was when Mia was in her element. Anything to do with muggles, she was almost an expert. So as she rounded the corner and saw the dinosaur in front of her she merely grinned. It was quite amusing to see the reactions of her fellow students. Even though she had to admit that it was rather life like except for its movements and the fact that it wasn't trying to eat anyone.

She had to snicker at Destiny and Evelyn. Mia sometimes forgot how much out of the loop they were when it came to muggles and the things concerned with them.

Sidling up to her two friends, Mia bit her lip to stop herself from laughing and kept her facial expressions as serious as possible. "It is actually alive. But the muggles have trained it to not attack anyone. But you don't want to be here when the muggles have all gone home because that's when they all run wild and they eat whatever they come across."

She'll tell them the truth in about an hour or so.

Arya swayed on the fence, moving away when the dinosaur got closer and moving closer when it moved further away. She even jumped slightly a few times when the mechanical creature roared, still a bit unsure if it would come out from behind the fence and attack her. "Hm." She scrunched up her nose. "I thought they would be bigger." Still, this was no disappointment.

Even though the dinosaurs rawrs drowned out many of the students, it didn't drown out one Chicken Girl Destiny Shepard. Rolling her eyes, she turned to look at the girl and her antics before turning back to the dinosaur, jumping a bit at his rawr. It was a shame she couldn't use magic, and that the creature was fake, she would love to see it attack the crazy girl.

Cass has been following along still a little out of it from the side-along apparition trip as he had never done that before...

He follows the others over the the growling and roaring t-rex exhibit muttering about wanting to see a Megalodon or Megalosaurus if they have those in the museum. He has always liked dinos and things like dragons...

Cass smiled at some of the students responses to the mechanical T-rex, it did look and sound real enough... He was so glad that his parents had brought him here after he got accepted to Hogwarts (and his mothers old school in Northern Japan). He had been shocked and scared the first time too.

Sophie stood in the back part of the big student group. When the big T-rex came into view her eyes widened and she said slightly shocked but more in awe "BLIMEY! That dino is Huge!!" The gryffindor prefect settled down somewhat when Professor Saylen told them that the dinosaur wasn't totally real. It was just created to look real with the use of electrics and a lot of other stuff that Sophie knew nothing about.

Turning to the COMC professor she asked "Professor, how did they make such a life size replica of a real T-rex? Is it made from scratch? It must have steel or something in it right to keep it standing up right?"The gryffindor prefect's interest had been awoken and now she wanted to know more. Sophie heard all around her how students spazzed out, some even went as far as to flee behind Prof Saylen's back because they thought the dinosaur was going to come out of it's fenced zone and attack them. The musum was definitley cool!
