Iliana listened with waning tolerance as Jake argued his position. Regardless of his determination to stay clear of the school nurse, he needed to realize that the topic wasn’t up for discussion. But before she could tell him exactly that, she saw him make a start for the door. Bad mistake.

With a lightening fast swish of her wand, Iliana sealed the door shut tight. "Jacob Upstead, one more move towards that door and it’s detention!" She shouted. "Do I make myself clear?"

Just as Jake stepped again towards the door, he caught sight of a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye. Flinching a little as he saw the wand, Jake eyed the wand with apprehension. He had half a mind to run over and try the door anyway, but realised that probably wouldn't be wise when he heard Professor Morgan's next words.

"You can't keep me here against my will!" he exclaimed, eyes spotting another door at the back of the hut, and at the wall, a large window.

Perrrrrfect...

Jake immediately changed direction and headed towards the general area of the door and window. She had only mentioned the one door...

Ross was deciding to turn into a prankster and were better to pull a prank than to come to Professor Morgan's Hut so walking up to the door he thought about what he was going to do but instead he just knocked.

Hearing a knock at the door, Iliana's eyes broke their connection with Jake's and she glanced in that direction. She shook her head, ignoring the distraction, just as Jake began to move again. "Detention!!" She called out.
Iliana's wand shot up once more, though this time she pointed it at Jake, silently cast the Langlock jinx on him before immediately levitating him a few feet into the air. "What's that you say? I can't keep you here against you will? Is that so?" She asked, glaring up at him from her chair. "What?! Nothing to say now? Well allow me to respond." She said coldly. "You WILL stay in this office until I am finished speaking with you. And when we are done, we WILL be taking a lovely stroll up to the Hospital Wing. Is that clear, Mr. Upstead." She asked. "A simple nod of your head will suffice." She explained. "And in case you weren't aware, I do NOT like being shouted at. I'm guessing you've figured that out." She stated, calmly looking at her fingernails with indifference. "When you are able to speak again, I will expect an apology."

Ross could hear things going on inside so taking out his wand , pointed it at her lock and said "allohamora" . Instantly the door unlocked and the door swung open to show a boy flying in the air "WOW" was all that escaped his lips.

Spence heard a commotion and saw a boy standing in a door, dumbstruck. She went to look, Jake! She unthinkingly ran inside to try and help, she then saw the teacher. She narrowed her eyes.

Jake opened his mouth to shout something as Professor Morgan gave him detention (DETENTION!) and levitated. He scrambled about and tried to speak, but his tongue was glued to the roof of his mouth. Clawing at his mouth and throat, Jake had to battle with the odd sensation of staying balanced in mid-air, which was actually out of his control.

In response to Professor Morgan, Jake stared wide-eyed and kept clawing at his throat, whimpering a bit. He was helpless and his teacher had her bloody wand pointed straight at him.

Nodding slightly, Jake wondered how he'd get around the apologising thing... Technically, he hadn't disobeyed Morgan... just found a way around her...

LET ME DOWWWWN!!!!!

Jake pouted to convey his real sadness for a moment. He didn't like this.

Oh yeah, she was on The Other List. With Ashby and and Forrester. Ohhhh yeah.

Jake eyed Spence as she ran in the room, pleading with his eyes. After all he'd been through recently, now this teacher was going to bully him as well.

Spence quickly did the counter spell so that he could talk, What happened? Why is she doing this? She eyed the mad looking teacher but she didn't care. Are you hurt?

'Agh!' Freya moved her shoulder out of the way as Professor Morgan gave her a reassuring pat. "Sorry, uh, bruised myself the other day." She watched a couple of other students for a moment, they were all by the fireplace, 'Bunch of crazies...'. Freya looked back to her professor, "Nice to know you have faith in me, I think I might be able to do an OK job. I just don't even really know what to say at all aside from bringing up the attachment us students might have achieved..." 'Blah.' "Yes, I think it would be better if we waited until the day of next lesson." Participating in sports in front of a large crowd was one thing, but speaking was entirely out of Freya's league at this point in time.

Iliana regarded the two Hufflepuffs with vague curiosity as they came barging into her office. She shifted in her seat to allow herself a better view and cleared her throat. "Is there something that I can do for you, Mr. Milloy?" She asked nonchalantly. "If I'm not mistaken, my door was closed. Care to explain yourself or shall I start taking points from the both you?"
Iliana looked back at Jake and sighed. She had seen something in Jake that was exceptional and it saddened her to no end to watch him struggle in silence. Could she be so misunderstood? After all, she was here to ensure his safety. Walking around in pain was no way for Jake to spend his days. Why couldn’t he see that? She stroked Vincent affectionately while she mulled over the events of the afternoon and took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

She reached for her tea and sipped it quietly before looking back up at him. "Jake, please stop clawing at your face. When you're ready to speak to me calmly, I will let you down. Just relax." She said dispassionately.
Iliana sighed again and rolled her eyes, knowing full well that the little first year's spell would be ineffective in helping Jake to speak. "10 points from Hufflepuff." She called out. "Young lady, you will keep your wand to yourself in my presence or I will take it from you." She ordered. "Jake is fine and under my care. Now please take a seat in SILENCE or leave my office at once."
"You should get that looked at." She said, with a concerned look. Why were all of her students so hell bent on being in pain? "Whatever you decide is fine with me, Freya. I'm sure we'll talk before then." She said, returning her attention back to the unruly Hufflepuffs.

Spence slowly put away her wand and pulled a chair near Jake. She sat quietly eyeing the teacher then Jake. He didn't look hurt so she said, Sorry Miss, I panicked. I was there that ... that night and I don't want him to be hurt again. I am sorry. She folded her hands and watched Jake. Calm down Jake. Just think of something pleasnat. Anger boiled inside Spence but she kept her cool. She didn't know what Jake had done to diserve this but she sat quiet, seething.

Ross was still happy to be mischievous so looking at Professor Morgan he said "Your door slipped open miss."

"Yes, I should." 'But I won't because it's imaginary...so it won't do much good.' Freya almost smirked at her thought, but stopped herself. People should know by now that she hated to be touched...period. "Yes, Ma'am." She looked to the Hufflepuffs as her professor did; why were they all acting like a group of lunatics lately? Maybe it was the death? Nawww...."Have a nice day, erm, a nicer one, Professor." 'Rabid badgers maybe...'. Freya finished as she glanced at the others before exiting the hut and made her way back into the castle, closing the solid doors behind her.

Jake, who was by this time, thrashing about in midair, freaked himself out by forgetting he couldn't quite breathe through his mouth. After flailing for a moment, he soon twigged what to do, however, Jake breathed through his nose and was fine. The spell from Spence hadn't worked at all, and Jake was still rendered speechless.

"Hnnggggg..." he moaned, his voice at it's usual pre-adolescent high pitch, almost like another whimper. "Hnnnngggmmmmm..." Jake stopped attacking his face and throat and ran his hands through his hair, gripping tightly. He dang near freaked out when Spence mentioned... it.

"Hmmmmngnggggg!!!!!" Jake shook his head rapidly, blocking her out. Shut uppppp!!!!! Just shut up about it!

Spence realized her mistake and gasped, Jake, calm. You are fine. Nothing is wrong. You are just fine. You are surroneded by people who love you. You will be fine. Her voice had gone almost hyptonic. She tried to lull him to calmness.

Allie looked down at her fingernails as Professor Morgan talked.
"No m'am I should have made sure he went to the hospital wing..I'm sorry I will be more responsible next time."
"Are you okay, Professor?" she asked when she choked on her tea. "I don't know where..."
She stopped talking though as a whole bunch of things started to happen. Jake was trying to run away, and then he ws jinxed...and two hufflepuffs barged in...she sat there watching wide-eyed as all of this went on. She didn't mean for all this to get out of hand. She had just wanted help some first years learn a lesson. SHe thought of the promise she had made Jake and Cam when they first came to the hut. Well..she wasn't one to break a promise.
"Don't give Jake detention. Really, it's all my fault. I should have been more responsible and have handled it on my own..I didn't mean for anyone to get in trouble. If anyone, give me detention instead."

Iliana nodded and watched as the girl found her way into a seat nearby. She hated to have to be so cross but the audacity of some students astounded her. She would have NEVER pulled her wand in front of a teacher. The mere idea had her heated. "Let's make sure it doesn't happen again." She said, in a tone much nicer than the look in her eyes gave off.
Iliana gave Ross a sarcastic little laugh and said, "No kidding? And is that what you'll tell your Housemates when they see the 'slip' in their points?" She asked with a scowl. "10 points, Mr. Milloy for that lovely little stunt."
Iliana watched Jake in agony. She had had enough of this nonsense. "That's IT!! I want everyone OUT!" She ordered. Giving Vincent a little whistle, she watched as he quickly flew off her shoulder and back into the safety of his cage. Then she turned to Allie and said, "Miss Johnson, please make sure that everyone leaves this office straight away. I am taking Jake to the Hospital Wing right now." She said. "Miss Winters, please meet me there after you get control of your fellow house mates." She then pointed her wand at Jake, freeing him of all magic and lowering him gently to the ground. Then she led him out her door and up towards the castle.
She shot daggers at the girl on her way out the door and paused abruptly. "What part of SILENCE do you not understand? 5 more points from Hufflepuff." She said and then continued on her way.

Spence gasped, she shut her mouth and left, seething again. This was so wrong.

Jake winced as Professor Morgan lowered him down slowly. He didn't feel like a very good person, having angered the teacher, and he kept his eyes averted and directed at the ground. "I don't want to..." Jake protested softly, dragging his feet and taking his sweet time in moving. "Please..."

Whaaaaaat?! Kayla's gonna be there?! Nuuuuu!!!!! Jake slowed down more at this thought, determined not to get there... Maybe he could dive for the common room when they got to the entrance hall.

Ross decided that she had another thing coming if she thought he was going to give up that easily but sadly he couldnt think of anything to do so instead he just walked out of the hut in a huff kicking a can on his way out.

Taking a deep breath, Iliana forced herself to take back control of her emotions. She hadn't been this worked up in years. It killed her inside to see Jake hurting in such a way. She moved to comfort him but quickly thought better of it. She headed towards the castle, keeping watchful of his position beside her as the made their way. "Jake, I promise you everything will be fine. I was a Healer myself before teaching at Beauxbatons. Trust me please!" She pleaded. "Tell me what's really wrong."

Kayla helped herself to a cup of tea and took a small sip as she surveyed the room again. She placed the cup on a table and reached up underneath her hair and pulled out the tarantula that had been resting there. She was the reason that she had come to see Professor Morgan, after all.

She was just about to open her mouth...when the drama started. Kayla, stood quietly by the fire watching the whole scene torn between being amused and...no actually she was just amused. Although she didn't know Professor Morgan, that well her respect for that woman reached outstanding levels. She liked Jake, very much but his behaviour was bizarre to say the least and she was behind the Professor, in his treatment one hundred percent.

And then more students entered the fray and Kayla groaned inwardly. Why was it always Hufflepuffs? Her eyes narrowed at the loss of points and although she didn't want to see her house lose any points, quite frankly the students had it coming.

Kayla hastily put Charlotte back underneath her hair and stepped forward. "Certainly Professor, I'll be there as soon as I escort these two..."she nodded her head towards the younger Hufflepuff students..."back to the castle. Professor Kazimeriz, doesn't want them walking around on their own."

Kayla looked at the two kids and narrowed her eyes. "You heard the Professor...out." She walked slightly behind the two students, a deep scowl on her face. "Do you two realise how many points you both have lost Hufflepuff and just when we were catching up to Ravenclaw too. Once we get the common room, you are both to stay there." Merlin, did it ever end? She was looking forward to a nice peaceful afternoon with Professor Morgan, and this happens.

Jake kept his head, bowed, eyes darting about him, looking for a place to run. Common Room was just no good, nor was anywhere inside the castle where he would be totally trapped. Jake had a feeling that Professor Morgan would not chase him around like Allie had done, and his head whipped around, without him really thinking.

"I don't want to go..." Jake said clearly. Wait, she was a Healer? EEP! That about did it for Jake. His eyes went wide as he stopped, ignoring the last question. Weren't saying nothing, nuh-uh. Not no way, not no how.

Again, without Jake really thinking, one foot and then another, started to prepare to speed off in another direction. Nothing to lose right now... he thought solemnly.

Iliana heaved a deep sigh. She gave him a forlorn look and said, "Yes, I know that Jake. You've made that abundantly clear." Trudging through the snow with a million thoughts flittering around in her head, Iliana was surprised by how quickly they had made it to the castle.

Ross walked down to Professor Morgans hut and knocked on the door, Instead of barging in he was just going to wait on her answering it.
