• Care of Magical Creatures Lesson #1 •

☛ When: Saturday September 18th @ around 6pm EST
☛ Where: Care of Magical Creatures area
☛ Who can attend: 1st-7th years.
☛ Why... Seriously, just come to the lesson if you want to learn. If not, don't bother me afterwards.

☛ Bring whatever you use to write down notes on, and whatever you want to write them down with. Dress appropriate for a lesson - this is not a Cinco the Mayo celebration. There will be no piñata. Anyone who does not follow my classroom rules will be sorry.

• Care of Magical Creatures Lesson #1 Homework •

☛ Due: October 6th @ Midnight EST

☛ Assignment: Draw a picture of a Dugbog and a picture of a Walking stick, side by side. Point out the characteristics, and anything else you can think of, of the Dugbog and write what they are.

Write a paragraph on other creatures in the Wizarding world that look similar to creatures in the Muggle world. Also, let me know what you learned in class.

OOC: Draw in an image program/by hand and then scan/take picture of drawing. The 'learned in class' part doesn't need to be serious. Let Maya know you learned that a Dugbog bite hurts, or that playing with live sticks can be dangerous. Whatever ; )

☛ Points Worth: 10 points.

☛ Notes: You can submit this homework even if you did not attend the class. Write the paragraph as if you actually did attend.

Follow the proper guidelines on how to submit homework, here. Failure to do so could result in deduction of points and/or your homework not being graded. At all.

Late sumbissions will not be accepted.

• Care of Magical Creatures Lesson #2 •

☛ When: Saturday October 16th - Classroom opens @ around 6pm EST and will be open for atleast a couple of days.
☛ Where: Care of Magical Creatures area
☛ Who can attend: 1st-7th years.
☛ Why? Because you need to know what to do if you get attacked by something with six legs. Or...not. Your call.

☛ Bring nothing to this class that you fear might get eaten, lost, pierced by a semi-poisonous fang or get destroyed. Or killed. Wear sturdy shoes and bring your thick gloves - you'll be needing them.

Maybe a helmet, if you got one. Though, I will probably tell you to take it off.

Anyone who does not follow my classroom rules will be sorry.

• Care of Magical Creatures Lesson #2 Homework •

☛ Due: November 10th @ Midnight EST

☛ Assignment: Use the toy spiders and practice the Arania Exumai spell on them around the school. PM me (all) the links of atleast 5 posts where you show me how the practicing process goes. You may practice with a friend, but you still need to post a minimum of 5 times each (you are being graded individually).

I do not expect your character to be an expert on the spell. Development is great!


Also, in the PM, write a small paragraph on what else you think the spell could be used on, or what else it could be useful for, and explain why you came to that conclusion. Be creative – but do not practice it on other living things or Maya will not be happy.

OOC: A paragraph...not half a page ; )

• Care of Magical Creatures Lesson #3 •

☛ When: Saturday November 13th - Classroom opens @ around 6pm EST and will be open for atleast a couple of days.
☛ Where: Care of Magical Creatures area
☛ Who can attend: 1st-7th years.
☛ Why? Please tell me you are not actually wondering that.

☛ Bring the usual (and any creature you might have stolen from a previous lesson). I trust you know what it is by now.
Also wear comfortable clothes that you are not afraid of getting dirty. I won't be responsible for any ripping, glueing or shredding of garment or limbs.

Anyone who does not follow my classroom rules will be sorry.
