“Hermione” he replied standing in the doorway. He closed the door behind him and she sighed before walking forward and slapping him across the face.
“I deserved that” he rubbed his cheek and sat on the couch,
She moved away standing by the window “Why do you want to drag up the past now?”
“Firstly I want to apologise for everything I’ve done to you and your family but with James and Indigo together – we wanted to sort out our differences”
“Together, wouldn’t have though yours and Elizabeth’s children would have stood a chance with you two as parents”
“A lot of people say that, and yet the girls are ok, they lived with me the past year and I’m glad to say there nothing like me when I was there age”
“James must know her well”
“They’ve been best friends since they met in first year, just like you, Harry and Ron”
She shrugged in response “And why is my daughter send home from your house after having protesting against me and her father to go there in the first place?”
“I had an over reaction when I found James and Indigo kissing”
“And you didn’t want anything to do with the Potters or Weasley’s in there lives so you sent them home at two o’clock in the morning?”
“You’re too smart for your own good”
“A lot of people say that”
“There right” he said watching her sit down on the couch opposite
“So you want forgiveness?”
“Or acceptance”
She laughed “Draco, you crashed my wedding, you sent taunting letters, you hated us all in school and that was so long ago why you couldn’t just let it lie I don’t know, you didn’t have to involve me, you could have just made up with Harry and Ginny, James is there son”
“Cause I actually really wanted to see you again and not fight with you”
She became silent
“And you deserve an apology, which I should have given years ago”
She rubbed her forehead “Apology accepted, but I don’t want to see you again and I don’t think Ron should know about this”
“I’m not likely to tell him now am I? The last time I did I ended up in Azkaban, he smiled and stood up.
“Good bye Hermione”
“Goodbye Draco” He turned and left to go back to the kitchen. She sighed and then stood up
“Wait a minute” she called and he turned around,
“I think we should sort this out with Ron as well”
She said following him into the kitchen with Harry and Ginny waiting
Harry spoke up “Hermione he won’t take it well, we saw him today in Diagon alley he had a hard enough time because we invited him back here”
“He’ll listen to me if he’ll listen to anyone” Said Hermione “I’m going to go and get him – he took Hugo and Rose home after the school shopping didn’t he”
“Yes – did you come from work”
She nodded “Couldn’t get the time of to take them, it’s a good job you’re his boss”
“It’s a good job I’m such a good boss” he stood up “I’ve got to back there now anyway, I’ll be back for dinner” he lent down and kissed Ginny forehead before saying his good byes and heading out the door apparating. Hermione went to the fireplace but paused “Can Draco stay here and I’ll go and get Ron”
“Sure, we have to stay anyway – there are seven kids are upstairs”
“Oh, ok thanks I’ll bring Hugo and Rose they’ll want to know what’s going on as well since they all know half the story anyway” she sighed and stepped into the fire place.

Ron shook his head “Why now, I’m not doing this, he ruined our live all those years ago I’m not going to forgive him for that as easily as you did”
“It wasn’t easy, and you can check out the handprint on his cheek if you think I actually wanted to see him. I just want this sorted out once and for all, this is the only way Ron”
“Honey if this was the only way why have we been fine with not seeing hide nor hair of him for going on fifteen years”
“I – I – ok you got me there, but Indigo and James there together and James is family. Our mess is getting in the way of his happiness and the peace between Harry and Ginny’s family and Draco’s”
“Back on first name terms with the Malfoy, are we?”
“Don’t be like that Ron, I’m making an effort, he is genuinely different, talk to him and see for yourself”
“I don’t think I will. I’ll be home late tonight” he got up shrugging off her arm as he walked to the fireplace and she tried to stop him.
“Even Harry is getting along with him”
“Harry doesn’t have to think about Ginny sleeping with him” He replied sharply, throwing the floo powder into the flames and stepping into them as she burst into tears and sat at the kitchen table. Hugo and Rose came down the stairs quietly,
“Mummy what’s wrong?” said Rose
“Nothing sweetheart” she hastily wiped her eyes “Could you take your brother and go to Aunty Ginny’s house and ask her too come here”
“Of course Mum, we’ll go now” she grabbed her brother’s wrist and chucked the floo powder in pulling him in with her as she spoke. When they had disappeared five minutes passed when he walked out of the fireplace smiling weakly and not her.
“Draco, you shouldn’t have come”
“I had too, this is my fault”
“If he comes back and you’re here it will only make things worse”
“I don’t think it could get much worse then not having you in my life”
“It’s been how long, and we were never friends”
“I didn’t mention friendship”
“That’s all you’re going to get from me, and not even an acknowledgement that you exist from my husband”
He sighed and sat down opposite her “As long as you’re my friend, I don’t care what he thinks”
“I do and I can’t hurt him, not again, and not about you or our marriage would be over”

PAMS!!!!!! I can understand where Ron is coming from but hopefully he'll come around in the long run.

James, Indie, Mel, Kaleb, Albus, Lily and Scorpius sat up stairs in James room waiting for anything to happen. They’d been trying to listen to what had gone on from the stairs but Harry had cast a spell around the living room and kitchen stopping them from hearing anything.
There was a knock on the door and James looked up “Come in”
Rose walked in Hugo behind her and they sat down on the floor joining the rest of them spread about the room.
James was lying across his bed, Indie’s head resting on his stomach and she lay the other way feet dangling over the end of the bed. Kaleb sat next to Mel on the floor leaning there backs on the wall while Albus was perched on the desk, Lily sitting crossed legged on the floor and Scorpius sitting legs stretched out in from of him against the front of the wardrobe. Rose and Hugo looked in around, smiled and then sat on the floor. Rose spoke first
“It’s not looking good, our mums in tears and she asked for yours to go and see her. We saw your dad go into the fireplace instead” she said looking at Scorpius.
“What about Uncle Ron?” said James; leaning on his elbows to sit up.
“He’s gone somewhere”
“Probably to work, that’s were we think our dads gone to” said Albus,
“So it’s just your mum here then?” said Indie, to James
“Yep”
“I just remembered something Jay” said Indie sitting up and looking at Mel, and then back to James,
“What that your calling me jay now” he grinned
“No silly” she smiled but it faded quickly, “We haven’t told Elizabeth”
His grin disintegrated, Mel’s face bleached and everyone else went to looks of anguish and worry.
“That’s something to look forward to” he mumbled and lay back down again. The room went quiet just as footsteps approached; she knocked “James, its mum”
She opened the door they all looked miserable and she sighed “Scorpius, Indie and Mel your Dads gone to visit Mrs Weasley, he’s given permission for you all to stay here tonight, your mother has done the same she looked to Kaleb and well I know my brother and sister will give you two permission” she smiled to Hugo and Rose “Dinner will be ready in a little bit, so I’ll call you all down, Dad will be back from work in time hopefully” She said before turning to leave.
“Well your mum didn’t bother to lie to us about were dads gone” said Scorpius “Let’s just hope it doesn’t make things worse”
“Lets just hope our dad doesn’t come back, see them talking and loses the plot.

Harry read the note “Don’t let Ron go home yet, Hermione and Draco talking x” he set it on fire with his wand before turning leaving his office and out to Ron who sat at one of the ten desks in the large room
“So Ronald, what have you done now to jump into a mess feet first?”
“Don’t start Harry” he searched through papers on his desk, the lines on his forehead increasing, his ears reddening ,”Where is that bloody report on the Mc Donald case?”
“This” Harry pulled out the sheet from under the pile; the parchment cover with Ron’s untidy scrawling script.
“Yeh that, here you go boss” he took the paper from him grinned and then gave it back,
“Thankyou, now, what about Hermione?”
“I’m not talking about it” he sat down crossed his arms, and frowned. Harry had seen him do this millions of times.
“Its affecting your work, as the head of this department I demand you to tell me, and as your best mate you need to tell me to”
“She’s back to where we were fifteen years ago, you turned your back getting all pally with him”
“I had to; his daughter is dating my son”
“It has nothing to do with my wife”
“He wants to clean up the mess, seriously, having kids has changed the bloke”
“Yeh right”
“Talk to him”
“Bugger off”
“I talked to him, hell we sat down with coffee and laughed about Hogwarts”
“I’m not you”
“Don’t I know it; you’re about a thousand times more stubborn”
“If Ginny had slept with him you wouldn’t be so nice to him”
“No, I wouldn’t, your right, but I’d make the effort for her sake because I love her”
“You really thing we could work this out, that I could be friends with my wives ex lover whose a death eater”
“Former death eater and you know that, we track all ex death eaters that are out of Azkaban and he’s clean”
“What about the fact he abandoned his own kids to go after Hermione instead of back to his wife or back to Elizabeth?”
“No one in there right mind would go back to Elizabeth unless your Jasper Anchorage, and he did try to get into contact with the twins, she just wouldn’t let him, she used magic”
“Magic, that’s low even for her, but I bet he deserved it”
“How about I stop you seeing Rose and Hugo with a little spell and you have to wait thirteen years before you can see them again?”
“Ok you got me there, but it doesn’t change anything, I still hate him”
“You’re being childish”
“Good” he got up and stalked to the cupboard pulling out new parchment and quills “You want a report on the Davis case right?”
“Yeh, you got a week”
“You’ll have it on your desk tomorrow morning” Harry got up and nodded before stalking off into his office. Well if he was staying here to write up a report he wouldn’t be going home to Hermione and Draco anytime soon.
“I won’t be back for dinner, im gonna keep an eye on Ron, tell me when Draco leaves Weasley cottage, see you tonight x” he send the stag patronus and then went back to the papers

Ron's a butt. PAMS!!! I wanna know how the talk with Draco and Hermione is going.

An hour later Ron came wandered into the office,
“Why do I need to forgive him?”
“You don’t have to, I mean you could just try and get along for your poor wife’s sake” replied Harry not looking up from the papers.
“She’s not exactly innocent in all this”
“Ron you too were finished, you ended it with her and she found him to make her feel better” Said Harry with a sigh and sitting back in his chair to look at him,
“And that’s supposed to make it better” Ron plonked himself down in the chair in front of the desk
“You can’t punish her anymore; she came back to you, she didn’t go after him when he dumped his first wife and Elizabeth. Im not saying she did the right thing by shacking up with a married man let alone the fact he was Malfoy, but she was all over the place and I don’t blame her for her mistake”
“I do”
“She had a lot of things going on, she had her heart broken, she was under pressure at work”
“She was busy being held hostage by Seamus”
“All the more reason to let it go”
“Because she’s completely blameless” Ron muttered sarcastically.
“Don’t be an idiot, if you chase her away now she’ll wont find someone else, you know its only you and the kids she’s thinking about in the long run, you three became her life the moment you married her”
“But this entire mess, how does she think that being friends with him will help us”
“She wants to bury the past once and for all, we remember the war just as well as the Draco and Hermione dramatics but know one else does. She’s lived with this for how many years with it just being that eight of us know the truth about what went on”

“And her becoming all pally with him again is going to change that”
“You want her to be happy let her help him clean up the mess”
“How the hell do you know all this stuff?”
“Thank your sister” Harry said with a smile

Hermione and Draco sat at the kitchen table talking over things, each had a coffee in hand and were relaxed in there seats until the conversation changed direction.
“How come you didn’t stay with Elizabeth, why did you let me take it so far as to throw me down on my desk?” She looked into the cup hoping he didn’t see that she was remembering there encounters with pleasure and not complete disgust.
“Elizabeth was beautiful, funny, and could have you wrapped around her little finger just like you, but you unlike her weren’t going after something serious” He studied her face with a feeling of regret for what he’d lost in her.
“I went through a time were my marriage was stale, my girlfriend turned into a psychopath and then you came along and I took the opportunity. It was like being with you I was some one else and I wanted that so badly that when I found it in Astoria it only took me weeks to propose not months or years”
“I’m glad you love your wife this time round”
“It does help that the person I want is married to someone else” he replied placing his hand on hers, she pulled away,
“And we talked about that, you know its not going to happen Draco. I love Ron, I love my family and my life but I value your friendship nothing more then that can ever happen between us”
He sighed taking his hand back and sipping at his drink. “Well I’d better go before your husband gets back” he stood up leaving his drink and finished on the table.
“Don’t be like that, Draco” she sighed putting her hand to his that was by his side. “Understand that in another life, if things were different then I’d be with you, but for now, right now in this life, you and I can’t happen as much as we want it too”
“Why not?” he said holding her hand and she stood up
“Because in this life I’m Mrs Weasley not Miss Granger” he nodded at her reply and lifted her hand to his lips pressing them to it gently, her eyes closed at the touch but she daren’t shed a tear with him there. He took the opportunity to pull her into a hug and she didn’t resist.
“Goodbye Draco”
“Goodbye Hermione”
She pulled away to kiss his cheek and then backed off completely to watch as he stepped into the green flames.

Ron stepped out of the fire place; the house was dark, the lights out and the usual sound of Rose and Hugo gone. He went upstairs lighting his wand and opened the doors of each of his children’s rooms to find there beds empty. He made his way to his room to see the outline of his wife and her brown curls fanned out on the pillow.
“Hermione”
“Ron” she said not bothering to turn and face him, her eyes were red and swollen.
“Where are the kids?”
“Sleep over at Harry and Gin’s”
“Oh” he undressed, yanked on pyjamas and got into the bed beside her “Look Hermione I’m sorry, if you want to see him and sort things out then I’m not going to stop you”
“It’s been done, it’s sorted”
“What when?”
“We sat in the kitchen and talked, about six hours ago when you walked out, you don’t have to be bothered anymore it’s all over, you don’t even have to meet him”
“How much do Hugo and Rose know about what happened?”
“They know everything”
“Right and now were do we stand with each other”
“You’re my husband, I love you and nothing’s going to change that ever but right at this moment I’m angry with you so you might want to stay over that side of the bed in case I kick you in my sleep” she replied and closing her eyes.
“I love you too” he said leaning over and kissing her cheek before lying back down and falling into an uneasy sleep.

“Right guys time for bed” Said Ginny opening the door to the living room were the children had trooped to after dinner.
“Girls will be in Lily’s room, boys, sort yourselves out between James and Albus’s rooms.”
Rose, Imelda and Indigo followed Lily to her room were Ginny had put out four sleeping bags and shrunken the bed so it became a dollhouse sized model on the shelf. Scorpius, Kaleb, Albus, Hugo and James opted for staying in James room the larger of the two so his mother shrunk his bed and put out the sleeping bags as well.
“Remember no magic, and you need to be asleep or your dad will be up to have words” she smiled and left.

“So what’s first the trip to annoy the girls or the Weasley products I have in my wardrobe” Said James with a grin,
“Do we have to use the tunnel?” Said Albus
“We can use it to get back – you think there changed by now” said James glancing at his watch, “Go and see Albus, they won’t hurt you they think your cute”
Albus shook his head “No chance bro, I want to keep my head thanks”
“Scorpious then”
“Not a chance mate, my sisters would kill me”
“Hugo?”
“Even I know when not to risk my life”
James got to Kaleb who just held his hands up in defence so James sighed and got up,
“Fine I do it myself” he opened the door but just started to laugh when he found the girls all standing outside the room in there pyjama’s each holding bags of lollies and Mel brandishing a butterbeer bottle.
“Oh no were not playing that again – not after last time” he grinned stepping aside to let them troop in and find a space on the floor,
“Fine” said Indie settling down and patting the space beside her for James, “What are we doing then?”
“I think we should stick to games that don’t involve kissing my mates, dares that mean stealing stuff and noise”
“That leave bugger all” laughed Kaleb “Got any ideas any one”
“Pass the bag of spaceships and I’ll tell you” grinned Scorpius catching them and popping one in his mouth the fizz of the sherbet itching his nose and making his eyes water. “Oh yeh forgot to say there super sours” said Mel with a grin as Rose patted him on the back
“You’re gonna pay for that sis” he spluttered.
“Merlins pants I am” she said and laughed
“So are you reading minds yet Mel?” Asked Hugo chewing on a gummy snake
“Only once by accident, it hasn’t happened since”
“Whose was it?” Asked Kaleb
“My dad – it was gross he was thinking about Astoria”
A simultaneous cry of “Arghhh” broke out from the group of teenagers as some hands went to ears and others cringed, Mel just burst out laughing again.

Harry settled on the couch with two glasses of wine as Gin made her way down the stairs and to join him in the living room.
“They behaving themselves?” he said as she closed the door behind her and sat curling herself up next him,
“I told them you’d go and tell them off if they weren’t”
“I think I’ll let them get away with it after the day we’ve all had, I think its me and you time” he handed her a glass,
“That’s a relief” she sighed “Did Ron leave when you did?”
“I told him I was going when I got your message Draco had left there house, he said he was staying late”
“Did you talk?”
“Yes but I think it got through to him eventually”
“Good job, I don’t think either of them would last on there own if they broke up and then what about Hugo and Rose”
“I don’t think it will come to that, they love each other they got over this before” Said Harry sipping from his glass,
Ginny looked up at him “I hope for all there sakes it doesn’t”
“It won’t, even if I have to apparate them both to a desert island till they sort it out”

A few day’s later and Indigo was sitting at her desk thinking over the letter. The parchment had two words on it ‘Dear Mother’ and now she didn’t know how to explain. Maybe she and James could go in person, but Mel had already said something to her that changed her mind. “You know that the guy you date at schools probably the guy your going to marry – look at James parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents then there’s even our friends parents like Roman’s, Rebecca’s and Francis’s”
She shook her head, so she was dating James, and yes she really, really liked him and he really, really liked her but if this didn’t work out they probably couldn’t be friends and would he really want her to be the only girl he knows for like ever. She sighed did she want him to be the only guy she’d ever known like that.

She shook her head and wondered why she was even thinking like that, they were only fourteen nearly fifteen they still had a life time to sort that kind of stuff out.

Ron sat at the kitchen table in the Burrow a cup of coffee in hand and his mother talking angrily.
“What do you mean she’s gone to her parent’s house for a few days, why did you let her go you silly, silly boy?”
“Mum” he sighed
“What did you do this time Ronald?”
“I know what I’ve done; she just needs a break that’s all, just some space”
“What about Rose and Albus?”
“There at Harry and Ginny’s some days, they know she’s gone but they know it’s not for long”
“And how do you know it’s not for long?”
“Because she said so, and it was me who suggested she went”
“You drove your wife away! What on earth were you thinking?”
“It’s what she need’s, it’s a break from me”
“And what did you do?”
“Nothing”
“Tell me Ronald”
“Nothing”
“I don’t believe that for one minute tell me”
“I got angry at her because she wants to be friends with Malfoy”
“Draco – but I thought”
“You only know he crashed the wedding you don’t know the full story. If you want a reason why she’s on speaking terms with a Malfoy ask Ginny and Harry”
“What do they have to do with your marital mess?”
“Just ask them” he stood up “I’ll be round tomorrow, tell dad I’ll have the screwdriver he wants” he leant down and kissed her cheek “Bye mum” and he took out his wand going to the front door and apparating to the ministry.

PAMS!! I'm glad that Hermione and Ron are going to stay the course together, but I feel bad for Draco. PAMS!!!

Molly Harry and Ginny sat round the table sipping at there drinks and talking in contrast to the laughter and packing going on up the stairs.

“It was Ron’s idea for her to go Molly” said Harry with a sigh, “Did he say why?”
“No he told me to come and ask you to” she said
Ginny took a sip of her drink replying with “That’s just like Ron, blames everyone but himself”
“Well will someone explain to me why two of my grandchildren don’t have both parents looking after them” Said Molly
“Well erm … James has got a girlfriend” said Harry
“About time to, I was starting to wonder whether he was-“
“Mum!” said Ginny loudly putting the cup she had raised to her lips down on the table.
“He’s dating one of Malfoy’s daughters” cut in Harry quickly.
“But what’s that got to do with Ron and Hermione?”
Harry sighed and looked to Ginny her face equally worried, “Do we tell her?”
“Yes – She needs to know”
“When Ron trampled on Hermione’s feelings and broke up with her just before me and Harry got married, she turned to someone else that someone else turned out to be married, with a pregnant mistress and it turned out to be Draco Malfoy” said Ginny before avoiding her mother’s eyes.
“You all kept this from me for twenty years!”
“It was for the best” said Harry “We didn’t have any reason to think about it until he crashed the wedding – and that raid on his house – Ron organised it to get him away from her”
“But still! My own family keeping a secret like that from us!” Said Molly “He’s a death eater, a, a womaniser”
“Ex death eater” put in Harry,
“And its not like we’re saying what they did was right” added Ginny “But they needed each other at that point, ok so he was married and he had Elizabeth on the side, Hermione had been dumped for know good reason and it was a moment of madness”
“Your defending them!” said Molly “How could you – how could she do a thing like that to my Ronald?”
“If Ron hadn’t been a prat and broken off what they had she would never have gone to Draco and this wouldn’t have happened” replied Ginny crossing her arms “If Ron hadn’t dumped her she would never have been kidnapped by Seamus or even have considered sleeping with Draco”

“Is your Mum back yet?” asked Indie to Rose sitting across from her. They were in a carriage with James, Kaleb, Mel and Albus.
“No not yet, she couldn’t get the day off to take us but she said she’d be back tomorrow to talk to dad. He’s still moping even though it was his flaming idea”
“You gotta love parents” said Mel smiling “Just look at ours”
“Gran came round to ours yesterday – I heard mum and dad telling her about your mum” he said to Rose “And your dad” he looked to Indie and Mel.
“Could you just call them there names I can’t catch up with all the parents stuff” she grinned but Kaleb replied for James saying “Yeh my brain and hers aren’t big enough to keep track of what your talking about”
“Hey! Yours may not be. I’m just a little confused” Said Mel hitting his arm playfully.
“Anyway” said James rolling his eyes at his friends “Molly came round to speak to Harry and Ginny, but now she knows everything but-”
“But” said Indie, but James just started to laugh
“I can’t call them by there first names its just weird” he kept going “I mean there our parents not our friends”
Indie shook her head “You’re all stupid and I’ll tell you what Jay – you’re the worst” she grinned.
He stopped laughing and turned his head away in a fake sulk much to Indies amusement; where as everyone else thought he was serious,
“Stop it” she laughed poking his sides with her fingers as the others kept talking but he didn’t turn around.
“Fine” she said angrily getting up, walking out and slamming the compartment door behind her. He looked up bewildered before Mel spoke “Go after her stupid”
He opened the door and ran after her reaching out to her shoulder; she saw his reflection in the glass in front and turned round with a grin “Gotcha”
“You are so like your dad – evil” he joked
“That’s why you like me” she laughed as he pulled her forward and into his arms
“I think it’s more then like” he grinned.

“What do you mean?” she replied looking up at him slightly confused but kind of understanding what he meant.
“I like you a lot more then you think” he grinned taking her hand and leading her smiling back into the compartment.

Hermione stepped through the fireplace pulling her suitcase out behind her “Did they get off ok?”
She started seeing her husband at the kitchen table,
“Yeh fine, they want to know when you’re coming back though” he said looking up at her and she dropped the suitcase on the floor. He realised it was there when he heard the bang and grinned “Your back”
“I missed you guys too” she ran forward and he met her half way after leaping up off the chair and pulling her into his arms. He lifted her up off the ground and spun her around,
“Ron stop” she’d gone pale tinged with green, he let her go and she turned heading for the empty sink vomiting.
“Are you ok?” He moved forward, his hand on her lower back the other moving her hair out of the way to see her face,
“Yeh just don’t do that again”
“Why, will you be sick again?”
“Yes, and I don’t think the baby likes it”
“Baby?”
She smiled and nodded, “Only two months”
He grinned from ear to ear and pulled her into another hug.

“Congratulations” smiled Harry and Ginny together but Molly looked on her face set in an unpleasant expression.
“Mum” groaned Ginny noticing,
“Yes Ginerva”
“Don’t be like this, aren’t you glad your getting another grandchild?”
“Thrilled”
“Then why don’t you look like it”
“Various reasons” she replied coldly,
“Please mum” started Ron “Just forget about everything, if there’s anyone that should have a problem it’s me and Hermione not you, and we’re fine”
“But Ron, a Malfoy”
Hermione burst into tears and ran from the kitchen up to there bedroom. Ron got up but so did Ginny, “I’ll go” she replied and left leaving Ron to pace up and down furiously,
“I don’t have a problem with the past, it was nearly twenty years ago, you only found out last week, have another week to get over it and if not your not going to see me or your grandchildren again”
“Ron”
“No mum” he replied angrily and went up after Hermione and Ginny.

Harry was left clasping at his mug, wondering what to say. He got up and wrapped his sobbing mother in law in a hug instead.

"Mums having a baby" Announced Rose leaping up from her seat and clutching the letter with her life,
"What?!" Groaned Hugo, but reconsidered "It means i'm not the youngest anymore" he grinned,
"Send our Congrats" Smiled Mel plopping down next to Kaleb, James and Indie were sitting opposite but oblivious - too engrossed with each other to hear.
"I said Aunt Hermione's Pregnant" Rose said trying again for more attension,
"Urgh not another Weasly cousin" James grinned "There's so many of you" He teased,
"Be nice - technically your a Weasley too" Smiled Indie mischieviously,
"Half if i'm being picky, which I am" James replied smirking,
"Your allways picky" she laughed,
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"So are you!"

"Are too" They started to argue, and then laugh and then kiss and the others got up to leave.

"Do they have too do that all the time?" Sighed Kaleb,
"They like each other so much they can't help it" Laughed Mel
"I like you but it doesn't mean I want to be in a contant wrestling match with your mouth" He grinned, and she laughed,
"Yeh well we're best friends, we like each other in a different way"
"Yeh" He smiled thinking about it, though now not quite sure as he watched her mouth keep moving but not hearing the words that came out.
Mel stopped talking at looked at him, how she fought the urge to see what he was thinking was painfull. But she didn't have to look, she knew, she knew he felt for her the same as she did for him, didn't she??

"Mel" smiled Indie, "What's going on with you and Kaleb?"
"What you've actually torn your attention away from James face and realised something?"
"Don't be mean" she grinned "James'face is very distracting to me, he has such nice eyes, cute little nose and tasty lips"
"Back to me please"Mel muttered
"Oh yeh, sorry - what's going on with you and Kaleb?"
"Nothing - we like each other but we're not going to tell each other - we're just going to stay in a stalemate"
"What - wheres the fun in that?"
"We can still be friends"
"Cannot or have you not noticed you can't seem to be alone with him anymore - I can read his thoughts if you want, I know you won't" she waved her hand dismissively at her "I will if it will make you feel better"
"And if it doesn't?"
"Erm..."
"Exactly so just leave it be, please"
