| | Accidental Magic Reversal Squad Office The first thing that catches your eye is a rather large desk near the door, with a giant nameplate bolted into the front reading:
The wizards and witches in this division have to keep tabs on any magic that goes amiss. If a young witch or wizard who does not have much control over their magic accidentally casts a spell that goes haywire, it is their job to fix it. When on an assignment, work together as a team to find the correct spell to reverse the situation, and then be sure to report it to the Head Office. |

Maybe that wasn't the right analogy, but that was what it felt like to C.C.
Oh, brilliant. She fought back the desire to protest loudly in a well-chosen few words when someone else stated or acted like it was new or unusual. Those words would be forever imprinted in her brain from today on - but both minds were brought back to the present at her question.
It was Serena who answered (after all, it was her neck). 'Feel free.' Her tone was now exhausted; being gawked at or examined was tiring. Abigail tapped her chin as Melanie answered her question. Hmm. So, there WAS a way to reverse the spell if it was casted correctly by the witch or wizard. "I see," she replied. She turned her head back towards the girl when she said that she did, in fact, feel the feeling of the cold water being poured down her head. Perfect! Since the woman had had that feeling, they were going to be able to help her. Quote:

We will probably have to wait until you're back to your normal condition." she looked around for that department's support. After all she came there as an extra hand, at least that was what Ben's memo said. "I agree with Melanie," Abigail said. "We can try to take the charm off the best we can, but if that doesn't work..." Sigh. "You will have to wait until the charm wears off by itself," she added. She hoped that they would be able to reverse the spell, so that girl didn't have to go on for hours with the lower part of her body invisible. Taking her wand out of her pocket, she looked towards Melanie. "I know I should know this, but what's the spell that reverses the charm?" She asked. Quote:

Her hair had started to change colors again as she was in deep thought. She had definitely never seen anything of the sort. "As for the dissilussionment charm, I think we should try to take care of that first," thought Dora. "It's nice to meet you Miss Woods," Abigail told her. "Miss Johnson..." She looked over at the second head and smiled.
Abigail looked over at Dora when the girl spoke up. She shook her head at the mention of giving C.C. bezoar. "I don't think that would work," she replied. "Bezoar helps with curing poisons." She motioned her hand towards C.C. and added, "This isn't a poison. It's just a potion gone wrong."
...right?

Content that the flowers were gone, Hallie could concentrate on some other things that needed to be done. And yet, it always seemed that whenever she began doing her paperwork, something else would come and interrupt. Like a two headed, half invisible women. Listening to her predicament, Hallie bit her tongue and shook her head, leaning back in her chair and resting her feet on her desk. Some people just didn't learn. Or understand a simple polyjuice apparently. They just needed to add their own little tricks. Picking up a stack of papers, she flipped through them, going over some of the minor details. Might as well let the others handle this, there seemed to be enough hovering over the girl anyway.

Giving that everyone was agreeing in that point, Mel turned to CC/Serena " Can we go to the place where you did the potion and look for that vial?"
She then turned to Dora and decided to do some Division Head work " Dora maybe you could take some notes on this process, make some brainstorming with Piper on ideas how to fix this....?"

" Sure, no problem," sighed Dora. She wasn't exactly feeling well, maybe that explained her lack of helping. " I'll get with Piper then, we'll start working on some theories." Dora then turned to Piper, " Piper, let's get working."

She thought for a moment, and something came to her mind " I we could get our hands on that other vial, we could try and decompose the ingredients, and make like an antidote. You remember potions back at Hogwarts? There are ways to find out every ingredient in a potion, catalog it and make the proper antidote. Thinking that this specific Polyjuice potion didn't do it's work, we can assume that there was something wrong, and it turned it into a kind of poison.. right? And even if that doesn't work we can always analyze it!" she was pacing back and forward, thinking about this possibility. Can't say the same, were the words that sprung to C.C's lips, but she bit them back and smiled a forced smile. It was always better to be polite ... even if she hadn't been so polite the whole time she'd been here. Besides, it couldn't be wor- Just as painful?! Shock flashed briefly through C.C's green eyes, and she winced. 'Doesn't sound fun,' she muttered, barely audible. Maybe she should just stay with the head ... or maybe it was better to go through the pain. She certainly didn't want to be gawked at however long it took this potion to wear off - if it wore off.
Decompose the ingredients! Why hadn't any suggested that at first? Then she wouldn't have had to go through all the unnecessary questions! But then again, maybe it was her fault for not mentioning the extra vial earlier ... nah. C.C wasn't to blame. Not in her mind. She nodded approvingly at the woman - Melanie (she really needed to call people by titles better than "woman" or "person") - and her plan. Quote:

'What's the chance this spell won't work?' she asked in a quiet, almost timid, voice. Personally she'd prefer them to take the charm off - then she was guaranteed it'd come off. If it had already gone wrong for her (which was blatantly obvious) then having the charm taken off by force would definitely get rid of it ... right?
The heads nodded as one at Abigail. 'You too,' Serena chimed reluctantly when it became clear that, once again, C.C was saying nothing in way of re-greeting. Quote:

Visit the place she did the potion? C.C frowned slightly; that would mean going back home, to the basement. She thought over the possibilities quickly: it was either stay here and refuse to show them the basement (and probably keep the head), or give in - very reluctantly - and (hopefully) remove the head. Now, how hard a choice could that be?
She was hesitant to answer - after all, these many people were practically strangers. But then she decided that the positives outweighed the negatives and she nodded gingerly. 'Sure,' she croaked, before clearing her throat and repeating it in a clearer voice.
Just to make sure everyone heard her.
She did like being heard.

Serena's face was always slightly sarcastic, but C.C's was just the plain pain. She smiled apologetically a little. All of this must seem too long for someone in her position. "It doesn't sound fun, but let's hope we find another way reversing the process without the pain" she said trying to give her some comfort. "Well, maybe before you tell us where your house is we can try and take the Disillusionment charm off? If I may.." she said taking her wand out and moving the cloak away. She stretched her hand to what she thought was nothing until she touched. She looked up a little " I'm sorry, this must be really uncomfortable, I just want to make sure I'm casting the spell on the right spot " she waved her wand and murmured the counter-spell.
She looked carefully, for some signs of it working.

Dora watched carefully to see whether or not Melanie's couterspell did the trick. It wasn't the Dissilusionment charm that she had been stumped on, it was the Polyjuice Potion that had her at a loss. In all her years of schooling and training and working had she ever seen such side effects or whatever you wanted to call them... Dora's head was still spinning a bit and she felt a bit peaky, she hadn't gotten much sleep lately worrying over Edward.... Her main priority was to see that Serena and C.C. were taken care of

Piper nodded as she heard Melanie tell her and Dora what to do, she remained silent though, just watching the whole process quietly. She really had no idea how to help this poor girl. The poly juice potion must have gone wrong somehow, and it seemed odd that it was lasting for more than an hour. Surely it would have worn off by now?? She moved toward Dora, and looked at her..

She looked carefully, for some signs of it working. C.C nodded eagerly in agreement, silently praying they found a way to reverse whatever had happened without pain. She didn't like pain; it was her worst enemy, especially now. 'Let's hope,' she repeated quietly, folding her arms across her stomach nervously as Melanie took her wand out.
When she moved the cloak aside, C.C's nerves became the worst they'd been so far that day, and a million and one thoughts ran through her mind. What if they couldn't do anything for the invisibility? What if they did and something else happened that could backfire? What if -
No. She'd think positively. She steeled herself as Melanie reached, brushing just below her knee - not that it could be seen where she was being touched. She fought back the shakes that tried to work their way to the surface and looked resolutely away. 'You're a professional. I should trust you,' she waved it off - even if it did freak her out somewhat that a spell she had no idea about was being cast on her.
Did it work? She didn't darest look, but she certainly felt the tingly warm feeling that had usually been associated with lifting a Disillusionment Charm.
Unseen to her (but most definitely witnessed by Miss Annoying Head of the Century), the places where it was logical to assume her legs must be seemed to shiver; and then, the next second, Serena growled softly. 'Lucky idiot,' she muttered at the sight of C.C's legs back to normal (thankfully). Which meant it was only the head that had a problem now - and who knew how much time that would take. But, again, on the plus side her legs were back to normal!
But the blonde didn't want to look nor trust Serena's words, and so, with her eyes shut, asked timidly, 'Did it work?'

Bit by bit, C.C's legs started appearing again. Melanie sighed in relief " uuuuf " she said getting up from being knelled on the floor. She chuckled a little at Serena's attitude " what a nasty head" she said to C.C " it worked! Now all we have to worry about is this little problem up here" she tilted her head to Serena, a crooked smile on her lips.
She called out for Dora " Maybe you could go to Miss. Woods house and get that vial, if you don't mind?". She looked at C.C for approval " Is that ok with you ?"

She called out for Dora " Maybe you could go to Miss. Woods house and get that vial, if you don't mind?". She looked at C.C for approval " Is that ok with you ?" Serena growled again. 'Who are you calling a nasty head?' she snapped back, visibly annoyed at many things - the current one the fact the idiot (and yes, she did mean that. Friends didn't always stay that way) was halfway back to normal. She'd be darned if she disappeared. It would just serve C.C right to be stuck with her.
Yet the other woman frowned in annoyance, once again clamping a hand over Serena's mouth so she couldn't speak as she looked down at her now-visible legs again, clearly relieved. She exhaled deeply, before looking up and beaming at Melanie. Her gratitude was obvious without words - and she didn't know what to say, anyway. "Thank you" wouldn't cover it and anything else would seem dramatic.
And then she called over another woman to go to her house. Her nerves returned, and she eyed the girl curiously. She knew she should trust - they were professionals. 'Just the basement,' she replied after a moment's thought. 'It wouldn't be anywhere else.' She knew that much, even if she didn't know the exact location. 'Third door on the right when you go in.' She withdrew a small piece of paper from the sleeve of her shirt and held it out to the woman. 'The address,' she said bluntly. 'I like my privacy.'

Melanie looked down " I'm sorry " she said, apologizing to Serena, after all that head, even though grown from another woman's torso, had feelings...of some sort.
She watched the exchange of words between C.C and nodded at Dora's last words. She then leaned on a desk, waiting patiently for Dora's return with the potion so that the reversal squad could try and reverse the potion.
While she waited, she smiled at C.C and around.

Matthew Weston entered his division probably looking thouroughly confused. This was his first day on the job. He wasn't really sure where to go, but soon found a desk with his name on it. He placed his personal items on his desk, a picture of his family, and one of him and his wife Katy Weston. He was hoping to run into her soon, since she was the liason for his department. Mattew finished organizing his desk...though to others it probably still looked like an unorganized mess.
Matthew thought it'd probably be best if he intorduced himself to the division head, and find out what exactly he was suppose to be doing. He made his way to the Division Head's door and knocked, hoping they were inside.

Matthew thought it'd probably be best if he intorduced himself to the division head, and find out what exactly he was suppose to be doing. He made his way to the Division Head's door and knocked, hoping they were inside. She saw a rather confused looking man approach her office then. Looked like she had a new employee. Awesome. Stoked, she headed over to him. "Hello there. I'm the Head of this Division. Lima Whigmeister." She smiled at him waiting for him to introduce himself. She might get him settled in the mission if there was much left to do here. |

"Nice to meet you too. Are you new to the Ministry? Or just this Division?" She wanted to get some idea of how new he was before she started delegating tasks to him and stuff. Though he would be more than able to help with this mission if he wanted to. |

There is a woman who has had a bad experience with Polyjuice potion and now she has the head of the person she tried to impersonate attached to her." She hoped that he wouldn't get confused too easily by this. At least she wasn't partly Invisible anymore and they had the potion.

Katy made her way down to one of the final divisions she had yet to meet with. She saw what she assumed to be the division head was already in conversation with her husband, Matthew. She waited to the side until they were finished so she could introduce herself.
