Now this isn't a good sign, Professor Lainey was getting mad, what was Professor Sophie's purpose of being here? Via gulped down, as she had been sensing trouble. And Oh my, Sabrina had just said something. Via hoped nothing else would go wrong.

Cassandra was starting to get uncomfortable. This didn't bode well... She didn't dare speak. One may take points away.

She just grinned up at Lainey. "Oh, I wouldn't have your locked up in Hogwarts," she replied. Nope, not at all. Maybe Azkaban. And she wasn't going to debate th lunatic part since that was quite clearly the truth. "I think I'd very much like to stay for this lesson. And perhaps I can recruit some of these fine young ladies to the choir."

Ponessa looked between the two, cookie still in hand, she wasn't sure about the situation, and felt...very awkward.

Lainey seriously looked ready to - explode. "And I think I'd very much like to ... to...," Lainey had to stop that line of thinking in front of the girls. She was taking labored breaths, very, very near the edge of losing it completely.


"This is ... the last time... I will tell you: GET OUT OF MY CLASSROOM!! Go sing and cook and be merry on someone else's clock! I can't teach when I'm nauseated and your ... cookies ... make me sick. Sugar and spice and everything BARF."

Choir? Via thought. That's it? Professor Sophie could have said that some other time, she continued thinking, I guess there's other reason why she's in here.

"I could always make you some mud pies if you prefer filth," she replied with wide, innocent eyes. "Now, let's be honest in front of the children. Are you threatening me?"

Eva chuckled.
"Choir, Professor Melita?" she asked in a voice like if she was interested. The woman had be crazy. Choir? Nails? What is next, how to get a rich husband? What was wrong with those people?! All the lunatics that talked about 'proper lady education' and stupid classes. Where were the classes they used to learn something?
That school was hell on Earth.
Eva openned her notebook and wrote something, not bothering with what was going on, but listening to every word.

She almost raised her head when Professor Melita asked if Professor Lainey was threatening her. I wouldn't mind if she was, she tought with sarcasm.

Eva's notebook had a word written ll over one page. It was 'HOGWARTS'.

Ponessa jumped at this, the professor's outburst, but had to supress laughter, after all; it was true. She looked down, trying to hide her twitching lips.

Omigosh...She thought, wow...

"Professor Lainey!" Cassandra said standing up. She was prefect after all. "Professor Melita, do you think maybe you could please leave the classroom. Professor Lainey seems not to be herself." She then turned to her History of Magic professor. "Professor, are you alright? I've never heard you raise your voice before." She said still keeping a safe distance from the two.

Sabrina looked at the two teachers, things were on the verge of getting ugly. She looked at her friends a questionable look on her face, she didn't know what to do. She was certain about one thing, there was no way she was joining a choir, she'd join dance groups straight away, but not singing groups."Well done Cassandra," she whispered with a smile on her face. She had a new found respect for the Slytherin prefect.

Lainey seemed to consider that, thinking only a second about how she was being a poor excuse for a role model. She'd been taking this Ministry garbage for far too long!!! Lainey held her hand up to the Slytherin Prefect, "It's okay, darling. Nothing to fear."


"Yes, yes I am, So-pheee-uhhhh,"Lainey drew her name out in a mocking sort of way. "Though, to be honest, with you and my girls, it's more of a promise. If you're not out of my classroom in the next - thirty seconds - I WILL remove you!" Lainey's wand was out and clasped in her hand, pointing at the floor but out all the same.

"Actually, It's Sophie. No uh," she said, still smiling. She purposely ignored the students speaking to her. They weren't important. There was only one thing that mattered right now and she could only hope Lainey was lunatic enough to do what she threatened to one of Minister Cooper's finest employees.

Eva stopped looking at her notebook when the Slytherin Prefect decided to take an attitude. Not a bad idea, she thought. She stayed there, in her seat, watching carefully the two adults.

She kept wondering what Professor Melita wanted. She spoke, but she didn't move a finger. She knew her wand was right under the table.
"Professor Melita, could you get some informations about choir? I'm very instered. But we, all the girls, need to have this lesson. I not won't to fail History of Maigc tests." she tried to sound secure, but she was just a third year. There was not much she could do.

IS this going to end up as a teacher's fight? She can't take it anymore, she wanted to barged in and stop Professor Sophie from tempting Professor LAiney. She felt like she was tempting her to react and do something violently so there would be a reason for the History of MAgic Professor to get sacked.

Lainey's mouth dropped open. She had snapped - that last remark from idiot whoever Melita - had been it. Her final remnants of self control were gone. Lainey had enough sense to drop her wand at least - it'd do no one any good if she really maimed up a fellow professor in front of her girls.

So, Lainey dropped her wand, stalked over to Melita and grabbed the collar of her robes. She jerked upwards and outwards, determined to DRAG the sugar-coated beast from her classroom. "Throw your cookies in the fire, girls!" Lainey called as she dragged Melita, without much care for desks and legs, towards the door.

This didn't look good she really really didn't want Professor Lainley to lose her job, but if things kept going the way they were, she would do. She took the basket and moved it towards the fire not putting it in there just yet. "What are we going to do?" she asked her friends.

Astrid, of course, did as she was told immediately. Though in complete and utter shock at what was happening in this room, she still had her wits about her. She threw the wretched cookie into the fire and watched it burn. She truly wanted to help the situation, but how? Oh, what can we do? she thought.

Nikita pulled her leg out of the aisle as Lainey - dragging Professor Melita - stepped on the place it had just been. Alarmed, Nikita levitated her cookie into the fire, too terrified to move. If Professor Lainey got sacked, Belle's would seem even colder than it was. Lainey was one of the few teachers who tried to keep the girls at Belle's sane while apparently losing more and more control of herself. Nikita would have been more in favor of a lesson where they learned the history of Melita's cookies and their effects on the students.

Eva blinked when Professor Lainey dragged Professor Melita to the door.
What was wrong with the world?! She was surprised. Her mouth openned an dclosed without making a sound.
They were there for 'proper education' had told her Miss Dion, the groundskeeper. Eva laughed inside; if interrupting a class with cookies was proper of a lady in charged on their education... then, she knew they'd had Hogwarts back fast.

When a girl Eva had only seen in classes asked what they should do, Eva shrugged her shoulders:
"Threw them to the fire?" she suggested; she really didn't know what to do. The thirteen year old girl didn't threw her cookie in to the fire, she was watching the two teachers.

Melita let herself be dragged away but, just bumping into chairs and desks would not do. No, it would not do at all. When they arrived at the door, she spread eagled herself, grabbing onto the door jam with both hands and catching her toes on the molding around the door. "Such a waste of cookies," she sadly tutted.

Steelsheen observed the scene unfold silently, her gaze ping-ponging between Professor Lainey and Professor Melita. When the Potions professor mentioned recruiting for a choir she gasped quietly. Oh no, no no. Now she wants us to sing outside of the classroom all.the.time. She grimaced, but her eyes grew large as the HOM Professor drew her wand. Uh oh, this is so not good. she thought as she looked up to her Prefect trying to diffuse the tension. Careful there Trell, you dont want to get caught in the line of fire she thought looking at her.

She then gaped as Lainey grabbed Melita and dragged her towards the door, calling out to burn the cookies. She made no move as the harmless thing is in her pocket, besides the pink monster jammed herself at the doorway. If the air wasnt tense enough she'd be laughing at the sight.

Ponessa smiled, more than happy to destroy her cookie. She was, however, a bit disturbed by the scene...

Whatever little respect she had for the Potions Professor immidiately left when she refused to leave. She was acting like a child. Her lips faintly curled into a repulsed sneer, raising an eyebrow.

"Professors, please..." Why was Melita being so stubborn. Lainey could easily take her, she was an Auror... She could destroy the cookiemaking potions mistress and put her in the Hospital wing foreve- NO!!! This couldn't be... She was going to send a note to the headmistress and now... it would just get her in deeper trouble!!!

Since Lainey was sure she was going to get fired for manhandling a Ministry approved nut, she decided to make it worth it. "Girls - I'm sorry for this. But sometimes - you just have to stand up for what you believe in! If you never learn anything else from me, at least learn that! And this!" And Lainey reared back, her fist balled, and punched Melita in her stupid face for clinging onto the door and not leaving when asked, told, and demanded to.
