Jack entered the classroom and found a seat. He was looking forward to this. A combination of Arithmancy and Runes was sure to be interesting. Finding a bag of candy waiting for him was an added benefit.

Fred entered the Arithmancy classroom for what he had heard was an Ancient runes and Arithmancy class. 2 of his least favorite classes. This was gonna be just great he thought as he took a seat at one of the desks. Upon taking his seat he noticed some sweeties on his desk and thought at least I'm getting something back for the guaranteed torture I'm gonna go through attending this class.

Ainsley headed for the Arithmacy classroom for the next class, not sure what to expect seeing as the class was supposed to be joined with Ancient Runes. Entering the room she spotted a professor she hadn't met before. "Hello Professor," she greeted before moving to take a seat at a free desk to await the start of class.

Fia walked into class and took a seat towards the front of the classroom. She really needed to get to know the professors a little better than she did. She looked at Professor Lupa. "Hello professor," she greeted as she slid down her chair to take her seat. It was always good to be polite, even if you were one of the quietest in the classroom.

Herminny walked into the Arithmancy classroom excited to attend a joint class in Arithmancy and Ancient Runes. She knew this class was guaranteed to be rather intresting. As she made her way to her seat she saw the Ancient Runes professor and wondered where Arithmancy professor but put that behind her and said, "Hey Professor Lupa", and then took her seat knwing the Arithmancy professor would arive eventually, right? Upon taking her seat she noticed the sweeties on her desk and thought,As if a joint class on two intresting subjects wasn't enough, geetting sweets for attending only made things even better.

Kay walked into the classroom and took the first sit in the back. Kay put her bag down and saw the candy sitting on the desk. 'oh,god.' Kay said to herself. 'why did it have to be candy' "Hello Professor." Kay said and then looked at the candy again. Kay put her head down on the desk and sigh. 'why did they have to have class right now'

Evelyn walked into the room, staring down at the ground as usual, until she bumped into somebody. "Sorry..." she mumbled, not looking up to see who it was, and was about to walk past whoever it was until she noticed what the person was wearing. 'Not a student. Aw great...i just practically killed Professor Shackleton didn't I..'

"Sorry Professor Shackle...Lupa. Professor Lupa." Evelyn said quietly, surprised. Glancing around the room, she saw bags of candy on the desks and she didn't notice the Arithmancy professor anywhere. 'Am i in the right class?' Frowning and confused, 'Why am i always confused when Professor Lupa is around?', she gave the professor a small smile, well at least tried to, and walked slowly to a desk in the back where she usually sat, sitting down quietly and just stared into space, thinking. 'Well this will be interesting.'

Marie walked into the arithmancy class and looked around to see if any of her friends were there yet. She noticed Kay sitting in the back of the room by herself. 'Hmmm, wonder where Lorcan is, those two seem to be inseperable lately' Marie thought. As she walked towards the back of the room she passed Professor Lupa. "Hello Professor, how are you today? Are we having a combined class because Professor Shackleton is out today?" 'What other reason could there be for having Ancient Runes and Arithmancy together' Marie thought to herself.

"Hello Professor." Carter said walking in. The concept of a combined arithmancy and ancient runes class was a little weird to him, but he was excited none-the-less. He took a seat and was greeted by some candy on his desk. Mmm, candy... this should be good." he thought to himself tempted to start on the candy.

'Another joint class?' Destiny wondered as she walked into the classroom. 'Hello, Professor,' Destiny said as she quickly walked past her.
Spotting Evelyn sitting in the back, as always, she made her way towards her and threw herself in the seat next to her. 'Hi!' she whispered to Evelyn without taking her eyes of the bag of sweets in front of her.

Adrienne walked into the Ancient Runes classroom quietly, not really sure what to expect. She had an odd feeling that combining Arithmancy with Runes was a way of trying to get her to like the latter subject more, but she still had misgivings. But then she saw the sweets on the desks, and she looked up at Professor Lupa with a smile. "Hi Professor Lupa," she said, taking a seat somewhere near the middle of the classroom. If she was going to be here, she was going to try and make the best of it. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. At least it wasn't the not-Astronomy class with Borr. Or Potions.

A voice suddenly jolted her out of her thoughts and Evelyn looked over to find Destiny sitting right next to her. "Hey." she whispered back, smirking. "I'm seeing a trend with sweets whenever Professor Lupa is teaching." Evelyn said, spying the bag of candy as well. 'Much better than the cake in last lesson.'

Daniel entered the room and wondered what will happen next? Arithmancy and Ancient Runes is an odd of a couple. He sighed and hoped he will enjoy this class.

Joint lessons seemed to be a popular thing the past term or two. Raiden wandered slowly into the Arithmancy Classroom, glancing at the few Slytherins who had already found their way there. Hopefully more would show up soon.

"Hello Miss Professor Lupa, I hope you're well?" Raiden said, smiling at the lady as he made his way to the front of the room and set his things down on a desk. He was careful to avoid setting his bag on top of the sweets that had been left there... oh. Sweets in class. Nom.

In all honesty, since his last encounter with Lupa, Jake had been planning to avoid this class. But he just... couldn't. It was torture enough last year where he skipped every potions lesson.

He had to go.

Watching his feet as he walked into the classroom, lest he trip or something, Jake bit on his lip and looked around the classroom, before pointing questioningly at one of the bags of sweets. "Ssssugarrrr?" he asked, words still slightly slurred. He'd worked out that he could get away with not saying much.

Still not taking a seat, as if the food would jump out and grab him, Jake hovered around, near a desk at the back.

stumbling awkwardly, Cedric entered their room. He was updated that Arithmancy and Ancient Runes had joint classes. It sounds like fun as the two subjects is related to each other. As he entered, he immediately noticed that Professor Lupa was already at her desk but where's Prof Mac? "Hi Professor Lupa." he greeted her politely as he headed to his desk. He saw a candy, sweets or whatever. He didn't eat sweet delicacies too much as it makes his head ached.

Arithmancy and Ancient Runes combined? Well, the subjects had certain similarities, didn't they? But it also meant having to carry not one, but two very heavy textbooks to class. Kiri had her fingers hooked under the strap of her bag so her shoulder wouldn't hurt too much as she wandered into the Arithmancy classroom, where the joint lesson was going to be held.

"Good morning, Professors... Er, Professor?" Where was Professor Shackleton-Clark? Making her way to an empty table, Kiri glanced around curiously, but the Arithmancy teacher was not around. The desk at the front of the room was occupied by Professor Lupa. "Good morning, Professor Lupa," she said again, properly this time, sitting down.
She opened her bag and extracted the two textbooks, and didn't notice the little bundle of sweets until she'd nearly mushed it with the Arithmancy textbook. She pushed the books aside and picked up the sweets. Were they for... eating? Or would they be needing them for the lesson?

Chris walked into the room and quickly found a seat close to the front. He loved both Professor Lupa, and Professor Shakleton-Clark's classes and today he got to have one giant Ancient Runes/Arithmancy lesson!

He smiled and said, "Thank you Professor Lupa for the treats!" as he sat down and placedd his books beside the candy bag.

Nataly entered the joint Arithmancy/Ancient Runes lesson. Arithmacy was her weakest subject, but she was really good in Ancient Runes, so it was good for her those lessons were joint.
Profesor Shakleton-Clark, didn't arrive yet, but professor Lupa was already in the classroom. "Good morning, professor." she greeted her with a smile.
She sat by a table in the middle of the classroom, and noticed a bag of sweets on her table. Her smile widened hungrily. She just loved Lupa's lessons! They always left her with a sugar rush.

Arianna entered the room, and found a place right in front row. She sat, took a piece of parchment and a quill out and as she placed them on the table she noticed the bag of sweets. " Heia, candyyyyy!" she exclaimed, looking at the professor " Can we eat them now professor?" she asked, her eyes shinning in adoration.

"Prefect Jones," she said to the boy, "welcome..."

"Master Pelican," she greeted the boy.

"Hello to you Miss Brett," she said beaming a smile.

"Miss Allister, nice to see you." She told the girl.

"Hello Miss Telerino," she greeted the youngster, "how nice to see you again."

"Is everything alright Miss Evans?" She asked the girl.

Alessia chuckled at the girl, "Hello to you as well, Miss Flores..."

"No Miss Salazar, Professor Shakleton-Clark will be joining us soon... then we will start." She said to the girl.

"Hello Master Phillips," she greeted.

"Miss Shepard," she said with a nod.

"Miss Mercer," she said "Nice to see you in my class..."

"Master Kaiser..." she nodded in his direction.

"I am, Prefect Kururugi" she said to the newly appointed prefect, "I hope you are as well."

"Master Upstead..." she said going to a desk at the front of class. "THIS is your desk." She said pointing. The desk with the sugar free candy... and closest to her so she could watch him.

"Master Leone," she said smiling.

Alessia chuckled. "Miss Starstalker, I know it's odd for you to see me in this class, but I promise the class will be informative and fun."

"You are welcome, Prefect Potter." She told the boy.

"Good morning to you too, Miss Silverlock," Alessia said sitting on MacShack-clark's desk.

"Yes Miss Trazzi, please, partake in the sweeties," she looked at the rest of the class and said "that goes for everyone."

Feeling an unpleasant flip in his stomach which had nothing to do with the smell of sugar in the room, Jake made a kinda pouty face and eyed the desk he was being told was his. Grrrr. So close to the froooooooont. And so close to Lupaaaaaa. Nuuuuuuu. Now how would he... ... nothing.

Heaving a sigh, Jake sloped to the front of the class like he was making his way to his doooooom. Dumping his bag to the side of the chair, Jake sat down, looking up at Lupa but at the same time trying to avoid eye contact. He didn't touch the sweets yet (which he guessed were sugar free... oh Lupa was smaarrrrrrrt).

K entered the classroom, "Hello again Professor", K said as she walked over to her desk and saw the bag of sweeties, "Oh thank you very much Proffessor." K was excited about the bag and class since this was one of her favs. K then began to eat the sweeties they where so good K then waited to see if any of her freinds would be coming to class today.

Abby walks into the classroom. She cannot imagine how Shakleton and Lupa are going to combine the runes they studied last class with Arithmancy. I know both subjects deal with Divination, but the way they do it are so different. Abby smiles at Professor Lupa. "Hello, Professor." She'd planned to talk for a minute, but Abby spots Jake Upstead in the back of the classroom. Her better sense tells her to leave him alone, but her conscience over rides her better judgement again. Abby walks up to the boy and looks at his two hands.
