Hogwarts RPG Name: Ava James First Year | Facinelli<3 RP Sweetheart I sighed with relief. James was coming this way, like he had read my mind and he was coming to save me.
“Sirius, I’ve been wondering where you’ve been.” James said, glancing at Lily. “Hey Lily.” He smiled.
“Oh, James, uh, I’ve gotta go.” Lily said hurriedly, disappearing into the crowd so quickly I didn’t even see which way she went.
James sighed. “Did she say something to you?” He asked.
“Uh..” I hesitated. I wasn’t even sure what Lily was saying, or what she meant, exactly. “C’mon James.” I said, looking at my friend’s face.
James looked at Sirius. “Yeah?”
“We’re out our awesome party, surrounded by exchange girls. Lily will come around, for now lets have some fun.” I said.
Slowly, a grin came onto James’ face.
“Have you seen Remus around?” I asked.
James shrugged. “No, he’s probably with Melissa.” He smirked, drawing out her name.
I chuckled. “Probably.” My eyes travelled the room, and they landed Remus and Melissa, sitting on one of the various couches around the room. “C’mon.” I said, walking over to them.
“How are you two, all mushy?” I teased them.
“You say that now, Sirius.” Remus said, shaking his head. “But one day, and one day soon, you’ll be taking back those words.” He smiled.
“You keep dreaming of that day, Remus, because it’s simply not going to happen. Sorry to disappoint.” I smiled, glancing at the party, and I saw Kyla eating chips at one of the food tables. She was everywhere, all the time, it seemed.
“Or maybe there already is someone, and Sirius doesn’t realise it yet.” Melissa said, smirking.
I looked back at the people in front of me and laughed. “Not even close.”
“He’s in denial.” James whispered, knowing that I could hear him anyway.
I rolled my eyes. This was starting to be a little ridiculous. “Okay then, if I’m in denial, who is it? Who is this person that I’m supposedly in love with?” Just the way that sounded coming from my mouth sounded silly.
“We wouldn’t want to ruin it for you.” Remus smiled.
“Or you just have no idea because there isn’t anybody.” I said, leaning back comfortably.
“You’re really no fun.” James said. “You’re not even worried at the idea because you just know it’s impossible. It makes it rather hard to teas you about it, y’know.”
The party was successful. People were dancing and everyone else were just hanging around the food, drinks and everywhere else. Remus had Melissa and even James seemed to be having fun when he left to get himself a drink.
“Sirius,” Melissa said. “Have you seen Lils? She just vanished.”
“Uh, yeah. She was talking about James and... Confusing stuff. Then James came over and she disappeared. She probably went back to the common room.” I said.
“Yeah, she probably has.” Melissa said, frowning ever so slightly.
“Everything alright, Mel?” Remus asked, looking at her with concern.
“Everything’s fine.” She smiled, jumping up off of the couch. “C’mon Remus, lets dance.” She grinned, holding out her hand.
Remus stared at her, eyes wide. “B-but –” he looked at me, as if for my help. I just grinned.
“Pleaseee, Remus? You have to dance with me at the ball anyway.” She pulled him off the couch and unwillingly into the middle of the room.
“What’s going on?” James said, sitting back down.
“Mel is making Remus dance.” I smiled. |
