Werecats are people too! Reader of Fan Fictions

THE EXPLANATION:
OK, Emily asked the question, and the answer doesn't have any effect on the story one way or the other. It was just a small confirmation bomb to something that was mentioned that could really be. [QUOTE][I actually did catch that and forgot to comment on it... I wonder who it is... /QUOTE]The first clue is mentioned when Jim was telling:
Quote:
I was born in Camelot in the year 1890, and raised by a Great wizard named Merlin. Sometime close to 1920, a young knave stole and sold me for the price of a year’s rent and food for the family of the knave. The new owner killed me to keep me from escaping back to Merlin.
The second clue is:
Quote:
Crookshanks turned into Jim. “If I may, Sir, this form is much more suited when I am to do much talking.” He held out his small hand to offer a handshake, as is common for some humans to do upon civilized greetings. This he did for Dumbledore, because he had just started to stoop over to pet Crookshanks when the cat transformed. Dumbledore lost his composure for a second and exclaimed in happy surprise, “Jonathon!”
And the third clue is this:
Quote:
But, Sir, you could always be around with this Tesseract. You could have been Merlin for all I know. Why not,” But her sentence was not finished. “Ginny,” he looked at her with old eyes. “Excuse me dear, for the interruption. I will say this, and then we will all step through the window. My pet phoenix has a life span of five hundred years. He then dies in a fire he sets upon himself, and raises anew from the ashes. I have seen this happen on more than one occasion. I think it is time for me to move on. I have stayed around ridding this world of evil wizardry trying to close the tear in the universe. I will not be the one to defeat Voldemort. Another great wizard will do that, and he will be the next great and powerful wizard. The Tesseract has allowed me to stay long enough to fix things that has been messed up by magic from ages long past gone, and this last bit I‘ve done, we‘ve done, will close the rip in the universe, and I can go on to my resting place when my time is up.”

Her mouth dropped open and he smiled then gently pushed her through the window.
So, putting the three clues together, you have a different point of view of Albus Dumbledore. He obviously had a Werecat whose human name was Jonathon. Merlin's Werecat, as Crookshanks tells us, was stolen and it was killed so there wouldn't be any way he could go back to Merlin. Dumbledore recognized Jim as Jonathon. He had never seen Tom, or Crookshanks in human form, so, he never knew it was his Jonathon. Remember the cat's coat changes color each time it is renewed of life. So, he didn't know him that way either. Dumbledore told Ginny he has seen his Phoenix die and raise again from the ashes into a new life for more than one occation. So, that gives Dumbledore a life span of at least 1,000 years. He has been ridding the world of evil wizards through the ages. In my ff, when Morgana trapped Merlin in the tree, we see that Merlin resurfaces later in history, so, I just made it so he had his Tesseract preset to a fail safe that if he didn't ever return within a certain amount of time, it would bring him back to the room where his Tesseract was. All he would have to do would be to go back in time to the point where he his brother and parents lived and transport them to a future date where they could start a new and secret life as the Dumbledores. And it is from that point in time that he started trying to mend the tear in the universe. He didn't tell Grindlewald about his invention, because he new the power Grindlewald desired. It was when his little sister died he became sadly aware even though he suspected it, just how power hungry he himself really was, and this changed Dumbledores way of thinking about for the greater good.
And also remember that Crookshanks adjusted Dumbledores mind the first moment he saw him. So Dumbledore didn't recognize Crookshanks as a Werecat until of course the moment Crookshanks became Jim. This caused the Disillution Charm to stop working on him, and he immediately saw him for who he was, Jonathon.
Hope you enjoyed my little side storyline I had going on. I didn't think it fair to have it in there and my readers not be aware of it.

Hello Sophie. Thank you for your thoughtful comment. The thing I will miss is the wonderful comments I so enjoy reading from my readers. You always give such wonderful ones, and I thank you for them.

That was so nice of Tom! One of my favourite things about your story is how you have kept Sirius alive and well.
Yeah, I thought there had to be a way for him to be able to stay alive. I know it was crucial for JK's story, for all Harry's father figures to die, but I say it is important to let him have one. He deserves to have Sirius, and Sirius deserved to be able to live a happy and productive life. And then there is Miss Lissydove of my ff, I think she deserved to have her happy and productive life.

I love the was you write Ginny. She's so detrmined and full of questions!
Please except this as a compliment because it is what it is given as. Ever since you started reading my ff, I always thought that you and Ginny, my Ginny are so much alike. I don't know you, but, I seem to picture you and her quite alike. I love my Ginny, and so I hope that shows you how I think of you.

That is sooo cool. How do you manage to come up with things so complexed and detailed. I tell you, you could give J.K Rowling a run for her money. Your awsome Connie!
Watching for Thursdays post. It's sad to see everythig come to an end
Thank you so much Sophie, for all your generous compliments. The things I came up with were given to me by JK and a couple other writers some of whom are here on SS, through inspiration and encouragement. Please don't be sad. I hope I'm able to throw one more curve ball into the game here, and manage a home run.

Hello Emily. Thank you so much for being my BETA READER, and I hope you have great success with your writing at school and into your Authorship. (Is that a word?) I hope you get published right away. There, I reckon that sounds better. Thank you for always writing such wonderful and encouraging comments like Sophie. You know what comments do for a new first time writer, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for always saying such nice things.

Thursday, I will be posting the final curve ball. I hope everyone enjoys the final inning.
