What…purpose does this potion have?
Obviously, it’d be… "So old people can be young again…?" Right? Like people in their fifties, and such. Like her parents! They always talked about wanting to be young again. 'The good ol' days' Pfft.
Weeird.
Of course... leave it up to Flores to figure it out. "Very Good, Miss Flores." She said to the girl.

"Um, P-professor, Could this be a potion used for d-disguise? Like used by the, er," Great, she had forgotten the word. "wizard cops. They c-could be hiding in p-plain site with this s-stuff. Well, as long as t-they have an antidote.?" Or, you know, It could be the Muggle's fountain of youth.
"It could... but that would be a waste of the potion..." She said but nodded. "Not only would you need the antidote to reverse the effects, but why wouldn't you use a polyjuice potion... though... in a pinch, if this was the only thing you had and needed to run unnoticed... yes, I suppose it could be."

Oh my Merlin!
She must have read that section of her potions book 10 times before it sunk in just how valuable these tears were...and why was the dragon lady trusting them to be able to correctly make a potion with them?! Wasn't that a little risky?
"Perhaps, this potion can help save someone's life? Like if they are seriously injured or had a terminal illness it can change their body back into a young and healthy state to prevent that bad stuff from ever happening?" Dragon Lady was scary and mean, but was she really that evil?
And this girl had it as well. "Not... exactly... but yes. Think about someone so old he would soon die of old age... how much money would that person pay to relive his life... knowing what he knows now... The potion turns your body back and heals the normal signs of aging, and the effects of the de-aging... The only drawback is it can only be used once." She said and nodded.

She did pay attention to the lesson though. No sense in only having half a potion written in her journal. Even if she never planned on using the potion.
Why was she sighing? The kids knew the potion was going to have a phoenix tear from the beginning... this was weird. She waved her wand and sent the potions in the box to a safe place. "The way you test this potion is blot a piece of paper with it... it'll turn it pink then burn through. That will be the correct potion. I will test each of your potions in private and see how they go."
She stood. "Homework!" she said and waited for silence. "If you were to re-live your life, knowing what you know now, tell me one thing you would do different. Worth 10 points and due a week from right now.
Class Dismissed." She turned to the two boys with the leaches. "Just leave them, I'll have a house elf clean it up... but don't think this is over. Your heads of houses will be contacted."
