42. Portraits
It was the second day at Hogwarts. First year, Draco Malfoy wandered the corridors, surprisingly alone. He wouldn't deny that he was nervous.
"BOO!" Came a voice from out of nowhere. Young Draco almost fell face first onto the ground.
"W-w-who is t-that?" He stuttered, looking around frantically. There wasn't anybody here. Maybe it was a ghost?!
"Over here!"
"No, over here!"
With a few seconds of frantic spinning and twirling, Draco caught a glimpse of a portrait sniggering. Ohhh, they were all having a little practical joke now, were they? Very funny. Draco snarled, then dashed away. Very quickly.
