CHAPTER 7

I kissed Hermione Granger, I kissed Hermione Granger! He kept saying over and over again in his head. They had parted, and now each sat at there own house tables. He looked over as she flipped her brown hair over her shoulder. She looks so beautiful, he thought as he watched her. His cup halfway to his mouth, his mind went back to the kiss. He liked it.

His friends had looked at him strangly when he finally made it to the table, he had looked out of breath and slightly red in the face he didn't care. He was happy. They had agreed to meet up again that night, Hermione had her prefect duty's and so did he. But till then he had to go to the classes he thought rubbish and a waste of time.

The day flew past quickly, to his likeing, and before he knew it, it was time to meet up with Hermione. He walked down the quite corridor to where they had talked earlier that day. He leant against the wall for the second time that day, arms folded, looking down at his heels.

He didn't have to wait long before he heard her footsteps coming closer, till they stopped in front of him. Smiling he looked up and into her eyes, she smiled back. Unfolding his arms he placed them round her and pulled her closer, she gasped at the sudden movement,

"Sorry" He whispered, he kissed her again, he could feel her smiling under his lips.

They broke apart and staed in each other's arm's for a long time.

"This is going to be hard, but we'll get through it!" Hermione whispered into his ear. He looked at her. He just nodded, he was in heaven.

"Should we be doing our duty?" He asked her, after a long pause

She shrugged, "It can wait" Draco was taken aback, Hermione Granger say no to her duties

"Do i sense you changing Miss Granger" He said chuckling, she just smiled.

Just then they heard a door open and close close by, followed by footsteps coming ther way, and fast. Hermione looked at him in horror, they were going to get caught, with no exscape. He simple gabbed hold of her wrist, opening the cupboard behind him and shuving her in, to her displeasure.

Draco whirled round to face Ron coming towards him, anger on his face.

"What you doing here Malfoy" He snarled, stopping a few feet from him

"I happen to be a prefect Weasal, im allowed to be here"

Ron's eyes were like daggers as he stared at Draco.

"I doubt very much you were doing your duty, Ferret!"

"As a matter of fact i was! I was keeping people like you from walking after hours"

Ron whipped out his wand, Draco did they same. The tips of Ron's ears were turning bright red, a sure sigh he was really angry, Draco could tell. Draco opened his mouth to shout a spell when he heard more footsteps coming round the corner. Glaring at Ron he put his wand away, Ron did the same just as Mr Filch came round the corner, his cat not far behind him.

"Well well what do we have here?" he asked in his annoying voice as he stopped in front of them, "Students after hours, students after hours" He began to chant.

"Were Prefects" Draco told him sharply, turning his way

"Well do your duty!" Mr filch glared at him and walked away up the corridor and round the corner, Mrs Norris cast them one more look before following him.

"This isn't over Ferret"

Ron walked away, back the way he came and turned to corridor, his footsteps getting fainter as he walked away. Draco sighed with releaf, casting another look up and down the corridor her yanked the door of the cupboard open to let Hermione out.

"Im sorry about that" He told her, she smiled weakly

"Its ok, i think it's best if we call it a night, i'll see you soon" Not waiting for an answer Hermione quickly kissed him on the lips and ran after Ron. Draco watched her go, thinking, before her turned and walked the same way Mr Filch had gone.
