Facinelli<3 RP Sweetheart I was in a good mood. That faded quickly when I looked down, James and I groaned simultaneously. Our very first period was History. Perfect.
“You can’t skip your very first class.” Remus said, looking at both James and me, reading my mind, at least. He accepted when we didn’t go to class, but I knew that wasn’t going to happen now.
“Aw, c’mon Moony! James moaned. “It’s History.”
“You never do anything in that class anyway.” Remus reasoned sensibly. “Just today, okay?”
I didn’t want to go to class anymore than James, but I was too busy piling my plate with toast, cereal, muffins, scones, bagels, anything I could find, really.
“You don’t ever stop stuffing your face with food, do you?” On her way out of the hall, Kyla paused, looking at me with mild disgust.
“Hey, Kylie.” I said, putting emphasis on the name she so disliked. I didn’t get her problem with it, but anything that annoyed Kyla was good. “Why don’t you go run off to your boyfriend?”
Kyla simply glared at me, and, if looks could kill, I wouldn’t be in the best shape right now. I simply smiled charmingly at her, annoying Kyla more.
She stalked off to the door of the great hall, clearly annoyed.
“Are you guys nearly done with eating?” Remus asked, probably thinking there was some truth in what Kyla had said. “You know, we should probably head to class, shouldn’t we?”
“I suppose.” I said, sighing. I was pretty much finished anyway; I just didn’t want to go to class.
“Okay, but I’m not doing any homework today.” James said, and I nodded in agreement. We probably wouldn’t do much work in most of our classes anyway. Some of them, like Transfiguration and Charms were fun, though.
“Hey, James.” I said, swinging my bag over my shoulder and getting up from the table. “How come before you seemed... Surprised that you got Captain?” I asked. James had been telling me for years he was going to be captain some day.
“I was expecting it, just not this year. The captain, old captain, that is, was meant to be seventh year, this year. But he decided not to come back to school, that's why I didn't get it in the summer.” James grinned. “But of course, it’s natural that I’d be chosen.” He smirked. That was the James I was looking for.
“That must be great, James. You’ll get to do the tryouts and everything.” Remus said, smiling.
It didn’t take long to get to History of Magic, sadly. I walked into the class from and took a seat at the very back. Partly because we usually did that in classes, that way we could get away with things more easily. Also because it was very far away from Kyla.
The bell rang and Professor Binns started droning on. James and I started playing hangman eventually while Remus took notes. In a matter of time Peter’s snoring could be heard.
