Chapter 16:
Prince Charming
How could Scorpius Malfoy be her prince charming. No way was it him. Was this some sort of joke? Pinching her self mentally, Rose released that it, infact was not a dream. Taking in a deep breath (look, another one), she smiled. "Uh, well looks like were finally face to face, huh?" She said. Scorpius's grin grew. "Yup, never thought it would be this soon."
The upbeat song that had been playing stopped, a new, slower song fading in. Couples started to pair up, rocking back and forth in each others arms. Scorpius and Rose stood in the center of all this, looking akaward. "Do you wanna dance?" Scorpius asked, looking down at his shoe. Rose nodded, unsure exaclty what to say.
As they swayed back and forth, they chatted, talking about normal things. Not once did Scorpius ask what Rose's name was. He wasn't doing it on purpose, but he simply forgot. As the song ended, Rose and Scorpius let go of each other, smiling just slightly. "So, do you maybe want to go for a walk?" He asked looking down at his watch. They still had a half hour.
Rose bit her bottom lip, considering if wether she should go. In a half hour she would have to met her cousins back in the common room. Their parents were coming to pick them up for the weekend break. And if her father found out that she had been talking a night walk with Scorpius Malfyoy, things would not go very well.
"Sure, why not." Rose finally said smiling. She took Scorpius's hand. Why did it feel so tingly? They walked down to the grounds, their conversations starting all over again.
