Chapter 28
St. Mungos
I woke up in a very white room. It felt like a hospital. It was probably St.Mungos. I heard a snore and I looked to my right. It was Ron. That brought back a lot of memories. Wait if someone picked me up who was it? It couldn't have been Ron. I heard voices outside of the room.
"Hello?" I asked into the silence.
"Hello?" I said louder.
Then the door opened, I saw Harry and Ginny's faces lighten up when they saw me awake.
"Hermione!" They both yelled.
They came over and hugged me.
"You're okay! I can't believe you're okay!" Ginny said, once again hugging me.
I smiled and giggled at her. "Well you'll have to deal with me longer I guess."
"Anyways what happened to Voldemort's body and Malfoy and Krum and Bellatrix?" I asked panicking.
"Well the good news is that Bellatrix's body was found lying down in the basement while Krum tried to kill us he was under the imperius curse. We took the curse off of him and he brought you too St. Mungos, we brought Ron. The bad new is that we're searching for Malfoy although once we had helped you up Voldemort's body wasn't there anymore. Either someone took it or he's not really dead." Harry said.
I was shocked. How could Voldemort not be dead? This is scary. I looked to my right.
"Is he alright?" I asked looking at Ron.
"Yeah he'll be fine, he's just sleeping, he's only gotten a few bruises and scrapes, but he has a minor case of forgetting a few things. Although he woke up earlier today he saw you and started to say a few things we can't tell you. He'll have to tell you sometime." Ginny said.
I nodded my head then I realized it. Ron and I both had told we loved each other and we kissed! I hope he at least remembers that.
"Okay well I'm going to go back to sleep now." I said lying my head back down on the pillow.
"Okay Hermione we'll be right out the hall. Bye." Ginny said.
I nodded my head and closed my eyes.
