Chapter 9

I drank a sip of my butterbeer as I sat in one of the Three Broomsticks booths. I looked up and saw Ron coming over to me. I smiled and nodded as he sat down.

"Hey 'Mione." He said.

"Hey Ron. Aren't you supposed to be with Harry?" I asked confused.

"Well yeah I'm supposed to but he's at Madam Puddifoot's with Cho. It's disgusting seeing them snog everywhere and usually at every Hogsmeade trip you come with us. So I guess I kind of missed you." Ron said blushing.

I giggled, "I missed you guys too. I didn't know he was dating Cho again. I thought he liked Gin..I mean nobody." I said looking down.

"He likes Ginny?" He asked getting furious.

"No he doesn't like Ginny, he never did, I mean he is dating Cho is he not?" I asked biting my lip.

He gave me a confused face but said, "I guess your right, I mean you are the smart one."

I laughed and said, "Yeah and your the hungry one."

He laughed and asked, "Want to come to Honeydukes with me?"

"Sure." I said.

We went out the door and walked to Honeydukes. Along the way though I saw Malfoy and Blaise coming.

"Ron step in front of me please, I don't want to be seen by them." I said.

He nodded and stepped in front of me. While I grabbed onto his cloaks, I heard Malfoy make a snicker.

"What are you doing here Weasel-bee? Aren't you supposed to be with Saint Potter and Miss Chang in Madam Puddifoots?" Malfoy said snickering.

I was glad Ron was taller than me so Malfoy and Blaise couldn't see me.

"Yeah Weasley, shouldn't you be beating Thomas while he snogs your sister in Hog's Head?" Blaise said.

I saw Ron tightening his fists. I didn't want there to be a fight and I didn't like how my brother and Malfoy were talking to Ron. So I stepped out from behind Ron.

"How dare you Blaise! I can not believe you said that, and you!" I said pointing to Malfoy, "Why aren't you with Pansy, don't you know she's cheating on you with Nott?"

I gave one more furious look to Malfoy and Blaise. Then I took Ron's hand and dragged him into Honeydukes.
