Chapter 7

I woke up that morning, well I have no clue if I did have any sleep at all, but It seems like I didn't, *sigh* oh well. I look to my right at the clock and it shows that it's 10:40 A.M.! I better hurry to breakfast and go to Hogsmede with Draco.

As I rushed down the Great Hall I couldn't help but think of who kissed me in the Room of Requirement, the conversation with Draco, and the conversation with Ron. Oh well, I just hope it was someone nice, no wait what are you thinking Hermione? The person couldn't be, the person pushed you out the door, without telling you his name! Then Draco just ran out without telling you. Ron seemed to care last night when I was upset with him though. I mean I gave him all the hints I could think of to show him that I liked him. But he didn't seem to get it. I sighed and opened the door into the Great Hall. Nothing but silence all around.

No one was there. I bet everyone has gone down to Hogsmede already. I was starving and there was no food on the tables. I was heading to the kitchen to see the elves but then I see a flash of light pass me. I turn around to see Draco and another death eater. I started to run and scream at the same time. Then I heard "Crucio!" from the death eater. I screamed with pain as I was being tortured and fell to the ground. Then I heard that famous cackling laugh. Two words. Bellatrix Lestrange. EVIL!

But when I was trying to get up, Draco seized my arm and pinned me up against the wall. He mouthed the words, "I'm sorry, I'll explain later" then he winked and had that famous smirk of his on his face. Bellatrix came over and raised her wand to my chest. I was starting to faint from the pain of the cruciatus curse had on me. That's when I saw Ron standing in the hallway. Ron's face looked horrified and his eyes looked red and puffy, did he cry after the conversation we had last night? That's when I started to faint. The last thing I remember hearing was, "Avada Kedavra!" Was I dead?
