I'm updating now before I forget. I've been so caught up in the Twilight series... I've read 200 pages of it within the last 6 hours! (yeah, I CAN be a slow reader, but this time it's for a good reason. It's boring without a main character being in more than half the book but it's finally gotten good enough to pick up the pace).
So yeah, this is my shortest update EVER! I mean, I've never written so little ever (and I've written a lot, excluding any Harry Potter F.Fs I've ever written!), but it's one of my favourites in it's own way...
The last line was hard for me to write because I felt like using the title and that was kind of hard for me to do (thinking-wise) without the whole ending being crappy... took me forever to think of a loophole for that (and that ‘loophole’ is what’s there now!)
Look out for the sequel within the next few weeks (or months, depends); it’ll be called Let Me Go (based on the song by 3 Doors Down).

Chapter 26

The months passed by smoothly. Hermione got out of the hospital wing that next day and found Harry and Jaimie talking; two weeks later Hermione caught them kissing. When she saw this, she was happy for them, but there was a feeling in her that was almost longing; she pushed it away quickly by thinking of Draco. Things between her and Draco stayed solid through the rest of the year; they never broke up despite the many bickering wars and full-out fights they’d have.

When it came to graduation, Hermione watched Jaimie get her diploma in the crowds of 7th years. It was then Hermione realized she wasted her entire year fretting about some girl. What does it matter that’s she’s pretty? Beauty is only skin deep after all, and for Jaimie, she was truthfully a great person. She deserved someone like Harry (even if they ended up breaking up days after grad – it’s the thought that counts).

As Jaimie walked off the stage, smiling, Hermione thought, Just because she’s pretty, it doesn’t mean she’s everything I’m not.
