Hello all my loyal wonderful readers!  I have here Chapter 16 to I'll Stand By You! And just to let you all know I will be gone for another week. I know, I know. How could I do this to you guys! But yeah I have to go to camp with my team mates. So I will post Chapter 16 today and when I come back I will post Chapters 17 AND 18...
Chapter 16:
A month has passed…
“I want a big hall Draco!” Hermione snapped.
“But a small wedding with some close friends would be fine! My entire family is dead anyways! Who are we going to invite besides your parents and our friends?”
“Good point…fine…but the money we save on the hall goes to my dress!”
“What about our honeymoon?”
“What about it?”
“We can use the left over money on the honeymoon”.
“I don’t think so…that’s why we have your fortune”.
Draco laughed, “All my money is gone! I mean with everything you are asking…”
“Draco the bride’s family pays remember?”
“Oh yeah…we are doing this muggle style”.
Hermione hit Draco, “And what’s wrong with that?”
“Nothing!”
Just then Ron appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the room.
“Ronald!”
Ron had a deep cut going down the side of his face from the battle a month ago. He had been fighting a group of Death Eaters that were in some other part of the Ministry along with Ginny and Luna.
“What happened? Why are you so pale?” Hermione said, panic in her voice.
“I apparated woman!” Ron gasped.
Hermione rolled her eyes.
“Ron what do you want? I am planning a wedding!” Hermione snapped.
“An expensive one too!” Draco mumbled.
Hermione threw Draco a reproachful look. Ron laughed.
“I am going to go and check on the laundry,” Hermione snapped.
As soon as Hermione left the room Ron turned to Draco.
“You get her to the alter and you get her there fast!”
“Why?” Draco asked.
“Victor Krum is back! He came back asking for Hermione!”
“What!”
“Yeah, he came by my place and asked me where she was”.
“What did you say?”
“I said that she was still on the planet and he practically killed me with his look!”
“But Hermione loves me. She wouldn’t leave me for a Quidditch player! Especially one that walks like a duck!”
“Well don’t be so sure. Krum knows how to trick people, especially the ladies” Ron said scowling.
Hermione entered the room again as Ron sat down.
“You want to stay for dinner Ron?” Hermione asked.
“No I have to go and make sure someone keeps their distance” Ron replied jumping up from his chair.
“What are you…”
“Bye!”
Ron turned on the spot and was gone.
Hermione turned to Draco who was scowling.
“Draco?”
Draco looked at Hermione and said, “I hate Quidditch!”
And with that he got up and stalked away.
“Just because the Chudley Cannons won the World Cup!” Hermione whispered as she gathered up her wedding plans and put them away.
