Chapter 2:
“Ron I’m going out with him so stop it!” Hermione yelled.
“Hermione this is the first time I actually think your being stupid!” Ron yelled back.
Harry had told Ron about Hermione and Draco and Ron had gotten furious.
“Stupid! That’s nice to know coming from a idiot like you!” Hermione shot back.
“Hermione he’s a Death Eater! Do I have to become one so you can like me?!”
Hermione stopped yelling.
“Ron how many times do we have to talk about this?”
“Hermione I have loved you for years and Draco Malfoy comes along and
after treating you like scum your dating him!”
“Ron your like a brother to me! I can’t date my own brother!”
“You’re going to regret everything! When he tries to kill you or something that’s when you’ll think ‘oh Harry and Ron were right’”.
“Well until that day comes will you shut up!” Hermione snapped.
Ron gathered his things and left.
“It was a mistake inviting Ron to dinner!” Hermione said rubbing her head.
At Draco’s house…
“I don’t want too!” Draco yelled.
“You do what you are told!” Voldemort snapped.
“Get out of my house!” Draco yelled.
“I will give you a week to decide where you loyalties lye Draco”.
“Then give me a week! The answer will still be no!”
Voldemort laughed and said, “We’ll see about that”.
He vanished.
Draco threw a tantrum. He broke everything that was within reach.
“Why me!?” Draco yelled. “I don’t want to be a Death Eater! I want to live a normal life!”
Just then the phone rang.
“Hello?” Draco answered rather rude.
“Draco what’s wrong?”
It was Hermione.
“Nothing. Why do you ask?” Draco said this time calmly.
Draco hated lying to Hermione but what was he suppose to say? 'Oh nothing
it’s just that Voldemort just stopped by and said I have to join his forces
because if I don’t he’ll kill you and then me'.
“You’re lying to me Draco”.
“I’m not darling. I promise I just don’t feel good”.
That was not a lye either. Draco felt like throwing up.
“What me to go over?”
“No! I mean no it’s okay.”
“I told them”.
“Harry and Ron?”
“Yes”.
“And? What did they say?”
“They said they’d kill you if you hurt me”.
“That’s nice to know” Draco said in a sarcastic tone.
“But I told them you never would”.
“And you’re right…”
“I know Draco”.
There was along silence. Then Draco spoke.
“Hermione I would die for you. Just remember that”.
“Draco no one is going to have to die”.
"At least not yet" Draco thought.
“I know hun but just to let you know”.
“Draco I have to go. I love you”.
“I love you too”.
Draco hung up and sighed.
What’s a person suppose to do when someone you love is in danger because
of you?
