This time when he opened his eyes, he was in a dimly lit room that he recognized to be the Leaky Cauldron.

In the far back table, Harry could see Draco sitting, his head in his hands. They were the only ones in the bar that Harry could see, but nevertheless he slowly and cautiously made his way over to where the boy was sitting.

There was an empty shot glass, and an equally empty bottle of fire whisky sitting on the table in front of Draco.

“You drink all that?” Harry motioned towards the empty bottle as he pulled up a seat.

“Nope.” Draco muttered, “It was empty to begin with.” He said on a sigh.

Harry could smell no trace of the whisky, so he figured Draco must be telling the truth.

“What are you doing here?” Harry asked the boy

“Well I was trying to drink this stuff,” Draco began, his usually sneer in full force on his face. “but obviously and already empty bottle makes that slightly difficult, wouldn’t you agree?” The sarcasm was thick in his voice, and Harry had to fight to not hex him on the spot.

“I meant, why have you locked yourself into your mind.” Harry asked exasperated, but speaking slowly as he would to a small child.

Draco sighed again, his sneer now only a memory. “Because it’s safe in here.” He whispered, “They can’t hurt me anymore than I let them, at least in here.” He slowly tapped his wand to the side of his head, his eyes burning into Harry’s.

“We need you to wake up Draco, we need to talk to you. You know we rescued you from your parents manor, we killed Kreature and saved you. They can’t hurt you anymore.”

“Ha!” Draco answered, an unpleasant grin on his face. “Maybe for the moment, but not forever. No, certainly not for ever. Do you have any idea, who – well, never mind.” He stopped mid sentence as if her realized what the implications of his question would mean.

“We are aware that it’s Snape.” Harry said calmly, not paying attention to Draco’s visible jump of surprise.

“How did you…” Draco began, but was interrupted by Harry.

“When we came to save you, he decided to show up and crash our party. Luckily, he was just a few minutes late, or all would be lost.” Draco nodded his head.

“How did you escape him?” He asked Harry suspiciously.

“What? You mean how did we manage to get away when he is such an incredible powerful Legilimens?” Harry asked Draco’s unspoken question for him.

“Actually,” Harry said at Draco’s nod, “All I did was make him mad. I realized it was him, although he refused to take off his mask at first, I made him mad, and he was so focused on me that he ignored Moody, and he was able to apperate me too safety.

Draco nodded, unable to keep his impressed smile off his face. “You always did have a knack for making him angry, didn’t you Potter?” Draco began laughing, genuinely laughing, and then as though realizing what he was doing, turned it off like one would turn off a water faucet.

“You need to leave.” He said, again putting his head in his hands.

“No, not with out you.” Harry said firmly, bracing himself.

“I said, LEAVE!” Draco screamed in Harry’s face, who instinctively reached out and slapped him.

Draco looked up at him in surprise, his hand to his cheek. Without even thinking about it, Harry grabbed both of Draco’s arms and apperated, focusing on the room he knew he was in in Grimmuald Place, praying that it worked.

Harry opened his eyes to see that he was in the brightly lit room with Minerva, pleased that he had not fallen out of his chair this time. He looked up in time to see a very cross Draco punch him in the face.

“Why would you do that?” Draco screamed at Harry, as he closed his eyes and desperately tired to go back to sleep.

“Draco, stop please.” Minerva said softly as she laid her hand on Draco’s shoulder.

Harry lay on the ground, his hands covering his nose, but unable to contain the blood that was oozing through his fingers. “He bwoke my noze!” Harry bellowed, his words muffled from his broken nose.

He made as though to attack Draco, but one look from Minerva stopped him in his tracks. She waved her wand, and he could feel his nose straighten out, the blood flow stopped. She waved it again, and the blood on his hands and clothes disappeared.

He looked down, “Thank you.” He said to Minerva, “Now I will kill him.”

She pointed her wand at him easily. “Take another step Mr. Potter, and a broken nose will be the least of your worries. Now take a seat.” She kept her wand trained on Harry, who grudgingly and muttering darkly under his breath sat back down.

“That’s better.” Minerva said smiling as though nothing had happened. She turned back to an amazed Draco. “How are you Mr. Malfoy?” She asked pleasantly.
