 Run, Emma, Run!
Okay all my readers! Here is another chapter to Lady in Red! Enjoy!
Chapter 14:
Harry walked over to Hermione and Draco’s table. Hermione looked up from
her conversation with Draco and smiled at Harry.
“Hey Harry! Having fun?” she asked.
“Yeah. How about you?”
“Of course!”
Harry looked at Draco and smiled, “Hey Draco”.
“Hey Harry...”
“Harry sit down” Hermione said pointing at a chair.
“Actually I just came to say good bye. I’m leaving, I haven’t been home for
awhile and I think it’s time to go back”.
Hermione’s smile vanished. Harry, however, pretended not to notice.
“So yeah...I’ll see you all around”.
Harry shook hands with Draco and turned to Hermione who immediately
hugged Harry and started to cry.
“Hermione don’t cry, please” Harry begged her.
“I don’t want you to leave Harry” Hermione whispered.
“I have to...” Harry said. And even if he wanted to keep Hermione in his arms
forever he forced himself to gently push Hermione away and say, “I’ll see you
soon”. And after giving her a quick kiss on the forehead Harry left.
Hermione watched as Harry left and didn’t turn away until Draco spoke up.\
“You still love him don’t you?”
“Yes, very much”.
“Then go after him”.
Hermione looked at Draco and said, “No, I can’t”.
“Hermione come on! Take a chance”.
Hermione was about to argue but Draco silenced her and said, “It was nice
being with a wonderful girl like you Mione. But you need Harry more then you
need me”.
Hermione smiled and hugged Draco.
“Thank you” Hermione said as she let go of Draco and followed Harry out the
door, hoping that she was not to late to have her happy ending after all.
But it was too late...Harry was gone.
