 Run, Emma, Run!
Okay everyone!!!!! Here is the next chapter to Lady in Red!!!!
Chapter 10:
“What took you all so long?!” Jennifer yelled as Harry, Hermione, and Draco
entered Dumbledore’s office.
“What are you talking about?” Harry asked. “We’ve been gone for about only
5 hours”.
“5 hours?… more like 5 months!” Jen said as she embraced Harry and then
Hermione.
“5 months? We have not been gone 5 months Jen” Hermione said.
“Yes you have” Ron stated as he said hello to Harry.
“Ron but we left this morning” Harry said, starting to get irritated.
“You actually left in the morning 5 months ago”.
This time it was Dumbledore who spoke. Harry and Hermione turned towards
Dumbledore, confused.
“How can that be sir?” Hermione asked.
“Because I made it that way. I needed you two to be gone long enough so
the Ministry would not interfere with my plans. I had to make them believe
you two went on a very important mission, which you did”.
“But why would the Ministry interfere?” Harry questioned.
“Because they don’t support my ideas and they don’t believe me when I say
that the Death Eaters are still at large”.
“So we have been gone for 5 months?” Hermione said.
“Yes Miss Granger”.
“That’s why Ron and I had to postpone the wedding!” Jen snapped.
Hermione turned towards Jen. “Oh Jen! I am so sorry! But…”
Hermione looked at Harry, who looked back and finished Hermione sentence.
“Hermione and I don’t want to be partners and we are not going to be in the
wedding”.
Those words hit Jen so hard that she fainted. Ron caught her and sat her in
a chair. Then he turned to Harry.
“Why?”
“Weasley don’t you think you should handle this on your own time?” came a
voice from the corner.
Ron turned, “Malfoy?! What are you doing here?”
“I am the one Hermione and Potter had to “save””.
“Harry why would you waste tour time saving this peace of scum?”
“Because Dumbledore told me too”.
Dumbledore cleared his throat.
“I think we should all go home and relax. Hermione and Harry after all need
their rest”.
“Where is Draco going to stay?” Hermione asked.
“Why do you care?” Harry snapped.
“Because I feel like caring you idiot!”
“Why don’t you just marry him then!”
“He’s my best friend! Why would I marry him?!”
“I don’t know… maybe because you like him!...Best friend...please”.
“Who said that I like him?”
“You did!”
Hermione could not control her anger any longer.
“I NEVER SAID THAT! YOU JUST DON’T LIKE MALFOY BECAUSE YOU DON’T
LIKE GIVING PEOPLE SECOND CHANCES! AND MAYBE YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS
BECAUSE MALFOY HAS ABOUT A 100% CHANCE OF WINNING MY HEART THAN
YOU EVER WILL!”
Harry opened his mouth to shout back but was silenced by Dumbledore.
“Draco you shall stay with Hermione until I have found a place for you. Harry
be quiet!”
Harry closed his mouth again.
“No more fighting. Every one go home!”
Hermione turned to Ron and said, “I’m sorry Ron.” Then she left. Draco
followed.
Harry, still furious, helped Ron take Jennifer home.
An hour later…
“Ron can you believe her! I am not jealous of Draco!!!!”
Ron was sitting in a chair, ready to hit Harry.
“Harry if it bugs you so much go and talk to her!”
“No because then she’ll think I love her or something”.
Ron was ready to hit Harry but instead he followed Hermione’s example and
yelled.
“HARRY FOR GOODNESS SAKE! YOU TWO LOVE EACHOTHER! WHY ARE YOU
GUYS ACTING LIKE YOU DON’T! YES SHE LOVED PETER BUT SHE LOVED YOU
THE ENTIRE TIME DAMN IT!”
Harry stood there for a long time…
“Maybe your right Ron”.
“Maybe? MAYBE?”
“Okay you’re right!”
“Go and talk to her now!”
“You’re not my mother Weasley!” Harry snapped.
“I don’t care! You will listen to me and you will do as I say!”
Ron grabbed Harry by the arm and took him to the fire place. He pushed
Harry inside and threw in floo powder. He then yelled “Hermione’s house” and
then Harry was swallowed by big emerald flames.
