and this is a shorter post

I tried to combine the chapters, but I really couldn't, I'm sorry

So instead I will post this one and then another one latter on and then the Remus/James post first thing tommorrow morning....

Chapter 30: Sirius’ Surprise

“Talk about timing.” Harry said has he appeared in Molly’s kitchen, his ring warm against his finger. He looked up at a small gasp.

The Weasley family was standing still as statues, staring at the two intruders.

“Ah, I’m glad that you are still here and traveling by floo,” Minerva said straightening her robes. “It is not safe to travel to Head Quarters any other way, I think.” Minerva said, ignoring the incredulous looks on the faces of the Weasleys.

“Minerva?” Molly asked slowly, staring hard at them.

Harry shot a questioning look to Minerva, and then burst out laughing. He now understood the puzzlement from the group of people in front of them. “You forgot to change us back.” He said laughing so hard he almost dropped the baby Sirius, who began to coo and giggle in understanding.

“I didn’t forget.” Minerva said with a cross sigh as she waved her wand, “I wanted to stay that way.” She finished as she patted her tight bun at the nape of her neck.

Ron was still staring mouth open at McGonagall. Harry pushed his jaw back up as he walked past him towards the grate.

“Wait a minute Harry.” Hermione said, “What are we going to do about him?” She asked motioning to Sirius who was nonchalantly leaning against the wall.

Harry thought for a moment and then smiled, “I know just the thing.” He said as he grabbed his Godfather’s arm and they disappeared.

“Thanks for the warning.” Sirius said shaking his head slightly, “Where are we?” He asked.

Before Harry could answer him, he exclaimed in mixed joy and horror, “By Merlin’s beard!”

He led Sirius through the halls of his Godric’s Hollow home to the back room.

“Any more surprises for me?” Sirius asked, slightly sarcastic.

“Actually I do.” Harry said softly as he pushed open the door to the back office.

“Hello Sirius.” Dumbledore said from his place on the wall.

Sirius’ face began very pale and then bright red in anger. “When did this happen?” He whispered.

Harry panicked at the look of raw fury on his Godfather’s face.

“I will explain everything to you, but you really must calm down.” Dumbledore said pleasantly enough, however his words were more a command than a request.

“I have to go to Head Quarter for the meeting, I would like you to explain everything that has happened since he has been gone, and I mean everything.” Harry said meaningfully to Dumbledore. “I am going to call Dobby in here as well to keep an eye on Sirius; he appears to be unaffected, but just to make sure.” Harry continued as if Sirius wasn’t even there.

“Dobby!” Harry called. With a crack the house elf appeared smiling at Harry. “I need you to stay in here and watch this man. Do not let him escape, I don’t think he will try, but just in case, do you understand?” He asked the small house elf who was nodding vigorously. “Good.” He smiled at Dobby, who instantly turned and stared at Sirius.

Sirius laughed at the ridiculousness of the situation. “I know why you have to do it.” Sirius said when Harry opened his mouth, an apologetic look on his face.

Harry smiled at his Godfather, “I’m glad that you are back.” He smiled and was gone.
