Chapter 21: Love - Keyshia Cole

I feel so..hmm. I don't know. It could be just spring fever and the feeling of late March getting to me, but..I was smiling when brushing my teeth this morning. I even grinned at Harry and Rown when they gave me dirty looks today. Something is up with me, but I couldn't even tell you. I don't know myself.

Professor Flitwick called on me in class today. It caught me totally off guard. My hand wasn't even raised..I didn't know the answer..To be completley honest with myself, I can't remember what we were talking about, actually. And it's so stereotypical because everyone gave me looks when I said I didn't know the answer. It's like, they expect me to know everything.

In fact, instead of notes on my parchment, it had Draco's name written on it. Written one hundred fifty-three times. I saw Ron catch glimpse of it and turned as white as Flitwick's hair. I'm not the lovesick puppy type. Or maybe I am..

"Brother, what is my next class!?" I thought out loud.

"Hopefully a kissing session with Draco," a cool voice behind me said.

"Oh it's you. I was just thinking of you." I pulled him into a hug.

"Mm, good. It'd be terrible if you were thinking of anyone else," he whispered against my hair.

"Draco, what day is it?" I asked him, lazily.

"March 31st.."

I gasped. "Draco! We have so much to do! We promised McGonnagall our graduation speech, remember?! We promised her we'd hand it in tomorrow!"

"Then let's go."

"But what about our next classes?" I asked, kind of wanting to go to them.

"Hermione..This is your free period. And honestly I won't miss Binns, and I don't think he'll miss me."

I grinned and pulled him with me to the Library. We worked hard on it. Draco had many ideas on what to put n it, which I thought was adorable. It was fun working with me.

"Okay, now we need a good sentence to end it with," Draco said.

"Mmm, I love you," I said. Wait...WHAT DID I SAY!?

He froze. "Sorry, um. I didn't mean..uhhh." I don't know what to say! Oh my GOD, I cannot believe I said that.

He put a hand on my arm. "It's alright. Finish this speech, shall we?"

"Yeah okay," I replied, nervously.

That night I couldn't sleep. What did he mean by "It's alright"? Did he think I was kidding? Was I kidding? I don't think so...No. I wasn't. I meant what I said...Yeah. I did.
