Ya, the 'dream' is the start of... well everything. Trust me, read everything in the italics (the dreams), cause it'll explain a lot soon enough (trust me, I mean soon... had a lack of ideas so this F.F kinda skips through the days and weeks pretty quickly and ya...)
Enjoy!

Chapter 2
The Dream

The first few weeks went by very slowly. Every class felt like days of arduous work, a whole day of classes felt like years. Dezi loathed her ‘parents’ for forcing her to return. She at least had a choice to return or not for next year, and she knew she wouldn’t, it was her choice and she couldn’t be pushed around by Harry and Ginny anymore. She went to bed mad, yet sad once more, she had nearly been sent to the hospital wing because of a group of Slytherins using her as their ‘practice target’. She blamed her guardians for her real parents death’s, she blamed Harry most of all, she knew the story full well now, about how he was given an option, yet he watched the death of his best friend and her husband, how he had ‘accidentally’ killed her parents.

Dezi was in a group of people, but she couldn’t see who they were. The wall in front of her was broken down, and behind the wall were four people. Two had black costumes with skull masks, one had curly brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, and the other had light platinum blonde hair and pale grey eyes. The two looked as though they had been starved for some days now, but beneath their sullen expressions was fear.

“You can’t beat us, you’re outnumbered by 11,” a voice said with confidence. Dezi recognized the voice, but she couldn’t see his face.

“You fools, you can’t beat us. We’re stronger, better, more powerful.”

“Think again,” the male voice in the group sad coldly. Dezi pushed through the small group, they didn’t seem to notice. When she got to the front, she recognized the scar. The same, vibrant lightning bolt scar she had known her whole life, the one hidden by messy black hair. She turned to look at the two fearful faces, and them she realized who they were. She remembered them from so long ago, the times when they were around.

Suddenly, one of the costumed wizards, Dezi recalled them being known as ‘Death Eaters’, thrust their wand into her mother’s, Hermione’s, neck. She was forced to the left, onto her father’s shoulder.

“You wouldn’t...” someone in the group behind Dezi said.

“We would,” the second Death Eater said as they pushed their wand into Draco Malfoy’s neck. He gagged momentarily, and Dezi felt tears prick at her eyes.

“You can Apparate! Leave the manor, anything!” she screamed. No one seemed to hear her.

“You walk away, nothing happens...”

“And if we don’t?” Harry challenged.

“They die.”

A darkened silence entered the room.

“So, what’ll it be?” the other Death Eater asked in a snake-like way. Dezi turned and looked at the young version of Harry, her vision blurred from tears. He didn’t say anything.

“Tell them to Apparate, they can get out of this!” Dezi yelled at him, hoping he could hear. He didn’t.

“Decide?”

Dezi’s gaze burned on Harry, but she then turned back to the Death Eaters and her parents.

“Avada Kedavra!”

Her father’s body went limp, and he sagged to the floor. Dezi heard her mum’s shriek of horror beyond the gag, she saw the tears flow from her eyes like a river that had overflowed. Dezi tried to move, but she was rooted the spot, she couldn’t close her eyes to rid of the sight in front of her, her tears were a block. Out of the corner of her eye, Dezi saw Harry raise his wand, but...

“Avada Kedavra!”

Fresher tears sprang from Dezi’s eyes as she saw Hermione go down to the floor, just as dull and lifeless as Draco was. She wanted to be anywhere but here, but she couldn’t go anywhere, she was stuck to the ground.

“Avada Kedavra!”

Two flashes of green light narrowly missed Dezi and they hit the two Death Eaters. Dezi spun around to see who had summoned the strength to do that. She recognized the faces of the Weasley twins, the ones that had let her stay in their joke shop after hours, take anything for free, that had let her work there during the summers. They were the ones that kept her sane enough to live, their unique ways of showing that they cared.

Dezi shot up in her bed. Either her face was sweating majorly, or she had cried during the night. She looked around the room and saw it was empty. She realized it was Saturday, and it was nearly noon. Another day that was just full of suffering for her, what joy.

Getting up, she slowly got dressed and made her bed. Walking out of her dorm, she left the empty common room to go and get lunch. Before she could even make it to the Great Hall, the last thing she remembered it turning the corner of the hallway...
