|  Chapter 2: Arrivals
Ok so I lied, I'm posting now, but without further adiu, here's the first part of chapter 2!
Hermione woke up at 11am on Thursday morning. Today her parents were leaving and Ron was arriving. She had butterflies in her stomach because she was so nervous of seeing Ron, just Ron. So she got up, took a shower and got dressed. She chose a brown polo from one of her favorite muggle stores, areopoastale, and a pair of jeans from old navy, with her adidas sneakers.
She marched down the stairs, her curls glistening in the sunlight and sat down to breakfast, French toast. Then her mom came in, she couldn’t believe it, her little girl was growing up.
“ooh, Hermione, you look very pretty. By any chance are you trying to impress a certain Weasley that will be arriving…today?” As Mrs. Granger was sitting down to breakfast.
“no, mom, were just friends, that’s all.” Hermione said with a hint of disappointment.
“oh Hermione, its ok, he’ll come around. He's a very attractive guy, and he’ll like you, I know it, so pick your head up and have fun!”
“Thanks-“
WHOOSH
“Hello? Hermione, its Ron! You know, the non homework doing, quiditch playing—“
I”I know who you are Ron, don’t get your wand in a knot.”
Without warring, Ron picked Hermione up by the wait and twirled her around in a circle. He loved her laugh, especially if he was the one making her laugh. At this point, both granger parents entered the hallway, but stopped at the doorframe to admire the scene. Their daughter was so happy with him, and they believed Ron was happy with her. Once Ron put her down, she introduced her parents.
“This is my dad and my mom.”
“Hey”
“Hi, Ron were so happy you could come.” Mrs. Granger said, shaking his hand. Then, Mr. Granger stepped up to the plate.
“Ron, just do me one favor, take care of her, and give her the best summer she’s ever had!”
“That, I can do Mr. Granger.” Ron replied, looking sort of relieved.
“So Hermione, you have the number to the hotel were staying at, our cell phone numbers, and the emergency numbers?” Mrs. Granger said
“Yes, mom all of them, the emergency numbers memorized”
“Lordy, ‘Mione, how did you do that?” Ron said with an amazed look on his face.
“There simple Ronald, 9-1-1”
“Oh.”
“Bye Hermione we love you, we’ll see you 2 days before Hogwarts!” Mr. Granger yelled to her only daughter.
“Yeah, mom, I love you too!” and they closed the door. Hermione turned to Ron,
“So, what do you want to do today?”
Ok I didnt like this post very much, but it will help in the long run...maybe not. But a heads up for whats comming, the 1st activity on Hermione's list! |
