Kay made it around the entire classroom once more before checking her watch again. Goodness! Time sure knew how to fly by. She clapped her hands twice to get their attention. “Class time is up, everyone! Thank you all so much for attending today. If you have finished your paintings and would like to keep them in the class as displays, you may put your name on it and leave it on my desk. You are free to take them with you otherwise. Those of you who are not finished may take the watercolours, brushes, salt and painting of course with them to finish off.’’ The woman beamed. “Kindly clean up any mess on your desks and return what is necessary but the watercolours. You may keep those.’’ As a little souvenir from the class! Plus she hoped that some of them would use this as an encouragement to keep on painting.
