Imogen listened to everyone as they gave their suggestions. They were all solid suggestions, and the questions that were put to her had made a lot of sense. It was after all a new branch on a subject that had been covered for centuries at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

SPOILER!!: suggestions

And she didn't even have Rafael's easy face to look at. Not that she meant to judge Professor Greyvson so quickly, but with the incense, she sort of did.

Cultural Arithmancy.

"The singular number and its influence on men and women," Sky said raising her hand. Yup. That's what she wanted to know about. And maybe how it differed from the reduction number used in one's expression or life path numbers. "Also. Are we doing yoga?" Like maybe that would explain the incense? Trying to set the mood?

"Yes! We had the best lesson in Transfiguration yesterday. Thank you." Manners were such a bother to remember, always tagged onto the end- why couldn't everyone just talk straight? If nobody said it, it wouldn't be rude to forget.

She would have liked to stay and talk to her idol for a bit longer (honestly, she couldn't decide whether she should love Arithmancy or Transfiguration more) but there was no time for that when the lesson started. Maybe everyone else would leave the stupid dog alone now.

As soon as Professor Grevyson asked a question, Sinead's hand was bolt upright in the air, her eyes shining.
"Vedic squares!" she said earnestly as soon as she was called on to speak. "I don't know if I remembered right- but they have patterns in them, and if you look at the patterns for your Vedic numbers, you can use them to affect spells- oh yeah, especially if the pattern is on Charmed objects- and maybe amplify them?" It was all so interesting- and imagine if they learned things that she could use in her other lessons!
Most witches and wizards massively underestimated the importance of numbers and Arithmancy in their spellwork. The textbook said so.

She didn’t wanted to lose AGAIN some house points because she openly showed her dislikes… No, she wasn’t going to lose house points today, not even because she didn’t liked this lesson! So, she picked a subject and raised her hand. “Meanings & Definitions of the numbers” she said while sounding not that excited. She had chosen something what, she hoped, wouldn’t be too bad to study…

All good answers, but not at all the one he was focused on and wanted...no, no...needed to know everything about. His hand shot up when he found the exact wording for his own answer. "Professor, I really liked the look of the chapter 'How Music, Colours and Numbers are Associated' -- I like music and I like colours and I suppose numbers are cool." He had done well with his numbers in his exams.

But why was she asking them what they wanted to learn? Didn't she have a CURRICULUM??!

Janelle had to consult her textbook for this one, although she thought she knew which section she wanted to choose. Before she answered, she scanned the table of contents.......just to make sure.

After a few moments, she closed her book. Decision made, Janelle raised her hand, ready to give her answer. "I would like to study Reincarnation and Arithmancy. That just sounds fascinating to me. After a brief pause, she added, "Maybe we could use Arithmancy to determine what we are likely to,be reincarnated as." Janelle wasn't exactly sure that she believed in reincarnation, but she supposed anything was possible. Most muggles didn't believe in witches and wizards, but here they were. Janelle was going to keep an open mind about it all.

What did she want to learn this term? She looked and listened to the others answers first. Actually everything sound pretty fun to learn.

Katerina raised her hand with her answer since no one else had said it yet. "Astrology & Arithmancy Connections I would like to learn what the similarities are in both." But also Reincarnation & Arithmancy that sounded cool too. Kat had to agree with Skylar but she had another possibly as well. "Meditation, maybe?" Ummmmmm Ummmmm See she was getting ready for the ummming part. She could do really good with that part.

Jotting all of the mentioned subjects down Imogen was able to see what her students had really felt more drawn to.

Looking over at each of the students that had spoken up she gave them all small smiles. ”thank you for these answers, I will use them when planning our next lessons,” she smiled and looked over to Miss Dance as she spoke to her. She was being quite polite. ”I have heard about their connections to the power of spells however with the Vedic tradition we are more using them as a means to calculating our numbers as it is a unique form of numerology.” she admitted with a small smile before glancing over to Miss Diggory. ”Ah, that is a wise question Miss Diggory, we are learning about something quite connected to yoga and Kundalini and Tantric Arithmancy today, however, so quite connected to yoga.” she smiled over to the intuitive girl.

Maybe her scents were working? Both were quite useful in calming people that used the essential oils. Turning slightly and tapping her wand against the board an image began to appear slowly on the board. ”Class, I was wondering if anyone here knows what the bowls on the floor over here are?” she asked as she indicated toward the brass that sat near her. There were of course, some around the students as well. The ones closer to the students were slightly less polished and clean than hers. Still, that was a part of the plan now wasn’t it?

ooc: just answer what you believe this bowls to be, don't worry make something up if you don't know and have fun with it!!

class will begin in 12 hours approximately
