Zoryn lived in Ottawa, Canada with her parents up until age 5. After that she and her family moved to England where her father was transferred for work. Growing up as an only child meant that Zoryn never had to fight for the attention of her parents. She was, in fact, spoiled. Zoryn didn’t exhibit any signs of magic until a late age of 9. Her parents had been very concerned up until then, but were relieved to see doll parts flying through the air on their own during one of Zoryn’s outbursts. “OUR BABY!” Emerest and Terrence aren’t ready to send Zoryn off to boarding school, but their little girl is too excited to be stopped.
