Except... Esme didn't like chocolate and that seemed to be rather a lot of chocolate involved and she didn't like chocolate. At all. Never ate it unless forced to and who in their right mind would force someone to eat something that they didn't like??? A weirdo, that was who.
She raised her hand. "Professor, I don't like chocolate. Can I just... use plain vanilla? Because yeah. She didn't want to eat chocolate.
Kay had thought about the fact that students would not like chocolate after she had already secured the flavours. She could have face palmed herself but then she thought that possibly they would vanilla only. So she was relieved when Esme inquired on whether she could use just that. "That's quite fine. Go right ahead!''

Azura was all about this and she smiled happily as she carefully bounced up to the front of the class room and started to make her tasty desert. "Thank you Professor!" She said with a happy smile as she took a bowl and started to fill it with two scoops of regular chocolate ice cream, and then put a scoop of Vanilla on top of that.
A small scoop of Chantilly cream came after along with the dark chocolate shavings..

Azura moved back to her seat and slowly dug into her sweet treat.. Ugh.. Best Class ever!!!
She put a spoonful of the ice cream into her mouth and nearly melted. So yummy...
Gratitude and manners were some traits that Kay always admired in the younger ones. "You're most welcome, Ms Kennedy. You may have another helping if you like.'' She smiled brightly at her purple eyed student.

She approached the area where they were making ice cream and started.Two scoops of chocolate ice cream and one scoop of vanilla ice cream. Kitty did medium sized scoops and combined the ice cream. First she took two scoops of sugar free chocolate ice cream, but then she followed up with one scoop of normal vanilla ice cream. There was no reason why she did this other than that she wanted to see if the kinds mixed good together. Back at home they never ate sugar free ice cream. Kitty wondered if it would taste basically the same. Then she topped it off with Chantilly cream. "Chantilly," she muttered out loud, liking the way the word rolled off her tongue.
When she was done she turned towards Professor Stewart and said, ""Thank you Professor for the lesson, and for the ice cream too. We should do this again next time." She smiled earnestly and went to sit down to eat her ice cream.
Yet another Ravenclaw with great manners! "It's my pleasure, Ms Valentine! I'm am pleased that you enjoyed it and I'll definitely see about having another treat next term.'' These kiddos motivated her to keep at doing her job to the best of her abilities. |
