This seemed like as good a place as any for Esme to create a bit of artwork. It would also add some colour and prettiness to an area with a rather bleh looking statue. None of the statues at Hogwarts were pretty; in fact she would call them creepy. No matter because she was not going to be here for very long.
She decided that she was going to create a small forest on this wall because nature was never a bad thing. It certainly would be a lot happier than the one outside of the castle.
Carefully she began tracing trees along the wall while once again thinking of the colour black. "Figura tree! Figura tree! Figura tree!" The process went on until a huge amount of space was filled with them close together. Hopefully they were massive enough to get across the vastness of forests but she wasn't exactly a professional artist. The important thing was that she was having fun being creative. Besides she didn't have much time to dwell on things because the trees needed to be coloured in. Her wand was pointed at the center of the tree trunk closest to her. "Colovaria!" BAM it was brown and soon enough all of the other trunks were as well. "Colovaria!" The leaves on one of the trees turned green. "Colovaria!" The ones on the next tree turned red. The third tree's leaves were turned orange, and the fourth's turned yellow. This process was repeated until all the trees had leaves of one of these colours.
Apparently it was autumn in her forest.
That done, she needed to animate the trees. The leaves of each were traced in turn. "Animatae!" she called out each time, watching as the trees came to life and started to shed their leaves.
