Rachel continued to read more about the spell as she lay propped against her bed in the dorm on the floor. Her dorm mates had all gone to sleep but she couldn’t so she had decided to spend a little time reading on a new spell. She regretted reading about this one, however. It was gruesome.

“I’m never going to use that spell,’’ she thought as she now stared out of a window and into darkness. “Not in a decade, a century or a million years.’’
