Austin never tired of walking down the damp steps towards the potions room. It wasn't the fact that the path was dark, and a little wet, that made him so happy. It was the fact that the end of the stairs was a room full of gold. Like how most people found gold at the end of a rainbow. Although his gold was dragon hearts and salamander's blood. And his rainbow was a flight of stairs. But nonetheless, he was still happy at the end of his journey.
The teen felt it was time to introduce himself to the new professor. Although he should have done this with the last professor. Especially if Potion's was his best subject. It was good to get to know the people you're learning from. But it was a new year, and a new him. At least he was trying to be a new him. One that wasn't so shy and hidden. Taking a deep breath, messenger bag strung over his shoulder, he knocked on the door. When he turned around, he noticed the Herbology professor sitting in one of the chairs. "Oh! Professor Myers, hello." He sat down on one of the chairs across from him. Austin's attendance in Herbology was so so. He liked the class, especially since he got to learn where most of his potion's ingredients came from. But it was a lot of work, and in previous years Austin had been very lazy. "Is that a present for the new professor?" He noticed the glass bowl with plants in it. They looked amazing, and, hopefully, the potion's professor knew how to take care of them. Although the bowl itself looked a little dirty. Heh. Herbology puns. "Um, professor, do you mind if I cleaned the bowl up a bit?" |
