Checking his sundial watch one last time, the professor quickly reached over and snatched Pebbles from the desk. "Alright everyone, hold on tight!" he instructed his group as well as the class as a whole. "In 10...9...8...7..."

He clutched Pebbles a little more tightly under his arm. It was her first time traveling by portkey and would obviously be a little scared. Not to mention that there was quite the risk of her wiggling free from his grasp before they reached their destination. But the choice was leaving her behind or taking that risk and Hogwarts had NOT been kind to her when left on her own, so there really was no choice.
