Zhenya rubbed her HUGE belly, feeling the soft kicking against her hand. She looked around the room, making sure everything listed had been done. “Painting, furniture building, clothes washed, nappies, chair…” she read off, mentally ticking each item.
And suddenly there was Gary, wrapping his arms around her. “It looks good, Zhenya,” he said, looking at the nursery.
Zhenya had even framed some of Gary’s photos to hang on the wall, giving it a lively feel.
“I just hope it’s all ready for when this thing comes,” she said, patting her stomach lovingly.
Gary laughed, “I think you’ve got everything.”
