First year:
Mina was the first Bennett to attend Hogwarts and was almost sorted into Slytherin, like her father. Very shy and quiet her first year, she mainly studied and went to classes. She never really interacted much with others until the CoMC/Herbology class. This is where she met her first friend outside her own house. From that moment on, she began to open up and started to befriend others. She took to liking the game of Quidditch after watching her first real match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. The Eagles lost, but she had a great time and the seed was planted for her to try out the next term. During this time, she developed a slight crush on a certain friend and tried as hard as possible to hide it. The severity of the crush was brought to the surface during a potions lesson, where a love potion was involved. A slight cat fight resulted. Blood, cries, and many hurt feelings came from that lesson and thing were a bit awkward for a few months. Hiding her feelings more, things eventually went back to normal. She was also one of the top five house point scorers for Ravenclaw.

During the summer, she attended the Quidditch World Cup and travelled to Transylvania with her cousin, Jade. She eventually ended up spending most of her summer in the company of her cousin. Whilst Jade was at work, she was usually found in Diagon Alley or wandering Hyde Park. After purchasing her first boom, she spent most of her summer practising in preparation of trying out for the house team.

Second year:
Second year started out rather slow for Mina. Nervous about the upcoming Quidditch try-outs, she turned to one of her best friends, Carter, to help her. Both were caught flying over the Black Lake by Professor Vindictus. Having received her first detention, she was a bit withdrawn and a tiny rift was form between herself and Carter. After some time, all was right with them again. Her nervousness over try-outs were for not, as she was put on the reserve team and actually played in half a game. Her studies did fall a bit, but soon they were back up to standards. A lot more vocal and active in everyday activities, she was found all over the place with her best friends and new friends. The night of the school wide sleepover, she turned up missing. But was found in the courtyard bloody and injured later that same evening. Withdrawing more for her usual self, she began to act strangely and had no recollection of the night she disappearance for weeks. One evening, all became clear to her. The same evening she managed to attempt to harm Carter and some other students. Once the dust settled and she could remember all that had happen, she withdrew even more. There was a threat of her not returning in for her third year. Even with her late start of her studies, she was still one of the top five house point earners for Ravenclaw for the second year in a row.

During the summer, she was 'banished' to France. Unable to see her friends, she spent a lot of time writing them over the summer. In hopes to possible change her views on her friends and those she associated with, her mother and grand-mère introduced her to many purebloods. She only spent a month there, before returning to England and her father. Spending very little time with Jade over the summer, she spend a lot of her time in Diagon Alley. This is where she overhead something that literally crushed her. This lead to her missing a certain best friend's birthday and not being able to meet a certain little sister.

Third year:
Must like the end of her second year, Mina was a bit withdrawn from her friends and throw herself into her studies and trying to forget certain things that happened over the summer. On the train ride back to Hogwarts, she came across an older Slytherin and ended up befriending him. She was at this point openly avoiding certain friends and hiding out in the library a lot. Focusing on just her studies and a few new friendships, she managed to once again because the old Mina that would be found around the castle with a smile. With a new term came new ambitions and once again she had her eye on the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup for her house. Again, she tried out for the house team and was put on the reserve team but managed to play in most of the matches. She love for the game had only grown over her summer and being able to play again was a wish come true. Over the term, she slowly became more friendly with a certain older Slytherin and once again began to form feelings for something she considered a friend. Unable to talk to her best friend about it, as she wasn’t really talking to him at the moment anyway; she had to just keep her feelings quiet and to herself. What wasn’t said couldn’t really hurt her, or so she told herself. As the term started to near its second half, an Alumni dance was organized and she acted as one of the committee heads. Working hard to get everything perfect, she took a lot of pride in the job the committee did and was happy to see it all come together when she arrived to the dance on the arm of the one boy that she had feelings for but couldn’t tell him. They were just there as friends. Walking out to get some air, she came upon her best friend and happened to see her date and his ex, who also happened to be the girlfriend of her best friend, together in what seemed to be an intimate conversation. A misinterpretation of what was seen, lead to her best friend slipping his drink on her dress and her interrupting the former couple. Left alone with her date, she allowed herself to tell him everything. From that night on, they were a real couple and not just friends anymore. As the term neared its end, she let go of any hard feelings she had for her best friend’s girlfriend and they started to become friends as well. Balancing all the new aspects in her life, she managed to keep atop her grades and once again was in the top five house point earners for Ravenclaw; top to be precise.

That summer, she announced that she was dating one of her newest friend’s ex and that she was to be send away to Beauxbatons. This announcement was made whilst she was visiting this newest friend’s home over the summer. That same day she also witnessed her best friend kissing another new friend in the presence of said other new friend. Seeing all of this came as a surprise and only seemed to confuse all that were involved. The remainder of the summer was spent living in the moment, as once the train arrive they would all be separated by school.

Fourth and Fifth year:
Mina spent her fourth and fifth year at Beauxbatons. Her family, mainly her mother’s side, thought that all the trouble that happened in her second year was grounds for her removal from the school. It had taken one term to remove her, but upon her being pulled from Hogwarts she was enrolled at Beauxbatons. It was a beautiful school, but her heart was at Hogwarts. She did make what she could of being at Beauxbatons though. There she was reunited with an old ‘claw and friend, Tibi Pryce. He was just the friendly face that she needed when she missed home. During her fourth year, Beauxbatons sent champions to Hogwarts for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. She was rather envious of the party that were visiting her home and she rooted for her Hogwarts champions all the way from France.

During her summers, she would floo back to London to see her cousin and her friends before having to return back to France and Beauxbatons. Each summer before she would floo back to London, she pleaded for her family to allow her to go back to Hogwarts and be with her friends. That first summer she told her no, but she never stopped asking.

Her fifth year was very calm and she only focused on her studies and writing to one person back at Hogwarts. Over the past year she had grown really close to a certain She-Snake and kept in touch with her, despite a kiss that might have happened between her and Mina’s boyfriend the previous year. Rumours of things had reached her ears and during the winter break she again invited her boyfriend to visit her in London. They needed to talk things out. Fearing that it was the end of them, she again laid it all out on the table about where they stood.

Upon her finishing her fifth year, she put her foot down and outright refused to return to Beauxbatons. Spending a good portion fighting with her family, she gained her wish as was allowed to return to Hogwarts to finish out her final two years with her friends. Keeping it a secret from almost everyone, she moved all her things into the house she basically shared with her cousin, Jade; and ventured back into Diagon Alley to get her supplies and possible run into her friends.
