- Emile Glynn-Arnold (younger half-brother), 3
[ Background: ]
Ezra was born as one of only two children brought about by Lawrence and Sebrina Carmichael, a short-lived marriage of one year which only resulted in arguing, divorce papers, and, well…Ezra and his twin sister Drew. Growing up with a blatant understanding of his home life, Ezra has never known anything other than the reality of divorced parents. He has multiple siblings that have resulted from his parents’ other relationships and marriages, including an older brother (Lowell) who came about from another short marriage of his father’s younger days, prior to meeting Sebrina Glynn. He also has two younger half-brothers (Travis and Emile) who are the result of his mother’s second marriage to a man named Christopher Arnold, who became his step father when Ezra and Drew had just turned 12.

Ezra remains very close to both of his parents, splitting up his vacations from school between the two of them equally. Often he and Drew are separated during holidays, one parent taking “claim” to at least one of them to keep it “even”. It’s rare to share a holiday meal with his twin, and a near impossibility to share any meal with both of his biological parents in the same room. As a result, Ezra doesn’t spend incredible amounts of time with his sister outside of school, but is relatively close to her despite their extreme differences in personality and interests.
[ Personality: ]
Ezra is a remarkably good student. He takes pride in his marks and values no class over any other – all are important and valued in his eyes. He often throws himself into his work in order to make sense of the world around him – everything makes sense when put through the lens of grade percentages and class rankings. He’s particularly gifted at Muggle Studies and History of Magic, the latter of which he shares a passion of with his sister. At times, it seems to be the only thing they have in common besides the gold tint to their eyes. When they were young and traveling back and forth between parents and families, they would often distract themselves by reading history books to one another and re-enacting the most exciting of the plots. This, of course, mostly ending when they reached the age of ten and other, separate, interests became more prevalent in their lives.
Some might call Ezra precocious in his intelligence, but he would shrug that off as his fellow students’ jealousy of his intellect. He’s smart, and he’s certainly not about to hide that to spare another’s pride. He cares very deeply about those close to him, despite his habits of not showing it, and carries himself through the world with a hard shell of facts and knowledge. Often a loner by choice, he has no difficulty socializing when he chooses to - most often with the Arithmancy study group and an extra-curricular club he started called: “Modern Day Magic in Comparison to Muggle Magical Conspiracies: A Discussion” (fondly referred to as MDMCMMCD). It has four members, including himself, and barely anyone but his best friend Herschel shows up to the meetings anymore…
[ Likes: ]
Muggle Studies, heated discussions, fresh parchment.
[ Dislikes: ]
Attention-seeking idiots, wasting time, people of lower intellect that bully him because he has such relatively small muscle mass.
[ Notable Quotes: ]
"Why does no one else care about Modern Day Magic in Comparison to Muggle Magic Conspiracies: A Discussion, Herschel?"
- Ezra, talking to Herschel on any given day

[ Background: ]
Surprise, surprise: Drew’s background is very similar to her brother Ezra’s. Coming from a pair of parents who were only together for a year of her life she can’t remember, Drew is used to adapting to whatever home surroundings are thrown at her. Ever since her mother’s settling-down with Christopher, things have been a little bit calmer (though she still screens her father’s constant cycle of new girlfriends, ever the protective one). Still, despite her father’s bachelor ways, “home life” is relatively calm in comparison to how it was during childhood when both parents were dating and constantly introducing the twins to new potential step parents. Her mother has finally found the right marriage, supposedly, and her father is never going to attempt settling down again – that’s enough closure for her. Fair enough. It’s a concept Drew can definitely get behind. Settling down never seemed to be doing anyone any good. Still, she’s happy to have the two half brothers that have come from her mother’s second marriage, and doesn’t mind Lowell so much either as far as distant older half brothers go.
[ Personality: ]
Drew quite differs from her twin brother Ezra in a number of ways, but perhaps most in general demeanor and personality. Very much like day and night, where Ezra is detached, focused, and introverted, Drew is sociable, bubbly, and dare I say it – popular? She lives in the moment as much as possible, spending her free time out of class with her close group of friends, wreaking havoc on the castle and its inhabitants. She never turns down a challenge, and isn’t easily surprised or excitable – she’s seen it all by now. She shares her brother’s intelligence but doesn’t feel the need to apply it as precociously…or sometimes even go to class at all, depending on how late she stayed up the night before covering the Great Hall in toilet paper. She prides herself on being spontaneous, but often can’t see the repercussions of being blind to the consequences. Despite their differences, she is fiercely protective of her brother, even though he often doesn’t notice and/or care. Similarly, he is fiercely protective of her, even though she often doesn’t notice and/or care. Sibling stubborness, anyone?
[ Likes: ]
Harmless pranks, baking desserts, playing Quidditch and making up her own rules (the main reason Gryffindor wouldn’t allow her on the team).
[ Dislikes: ]
Boyfriends who want her to stop covering the Great Hall in toilet paper, judgmental personalities, people who make fun of her brother.
[ Notable Quotes: ]
"You're telling me no one else here thinks we should force every losing team to do a flash mob to Madonna??"
- Drew, prior to being asked to leave last year's Quidditch try outs.

[ Family: ]
Father: Paul Doherty
Mother: Nicole Doherty

[ Background: ]
Colin comes from a small, tight-knit family located in London. He's spent most of his childhood and adolescence pursuing his dream of professional sports, spending his school years on the Gryffindor Quidditch team (3rd through 7th year) and every summer out at camps for football and various other outdoor sports. He's been attending sports summer courses since the age of five, and now at seventeen, has been camp counselor for that same football camp since he turned fifteen.

After graduation, he hopes to make it onto a professional team.
[ Personality: ]
Colin is perhaps best known for his reputation more so than his true personality. Then again, many close friends would agree that his reputation is somewhat close to his personality anyway. That being said, the majority of the school knows Colin Doherty to be the party boy of Gryffindor. As co-captain of the Quidditch team and perhaps loudest person within Hogwarts' walls, it's incredibly difficult not to know who Colin is. Some love him, some loathe him, practically all envy him, and yet he constantly seems to have a solid group of friends around him at all times.

A very spontaneous person, Colin attempts to live in the moment at all times. This can often lead to missing important classes or skipping out on the many detentions he often finds himself accumulating. A naturally intelligent young man, he could pass his classes, but often finds it more entertaining to walk the thin line between pass and fail. Each semester he tests the limits of how many classes he can sleep through before being called into speak with the Headmaster whom he has a minimum monthly appointment with.

The Gryffindor Quidditch co-captain, Colin spends most of his time on the field in practices for whatever game is upcoming. He prefers to spend the majority of time outdoors with the team, or taking any number of girls out on dates. It would appear that Mr. Doherty often bites off more than he can chew when it comes to women. Dubbed the "Gryffindor Casanova", he often dates so many different girls he can get himself in a significant amount of trouble. More than once he's found himself hiding behind a suit of armor to avoid a crazy ex-girlfriend...
[ Likes: ]
Quidditch, dating, hanging out with friends often instead of attending classes.
[ Dislikes: ]
Clingy girlfriends, people assuming things about him, people telling him what to do.
[ Notable Quotes: ]
"Excuse me! You can't prove that I convinced Olivia Peters to sneak out of Transfiguration to snog in the library! I tried to tell the girl to stay in class but she just wouldn't listen! She places no value in her education. Soooo I took her to the library for extracurricular tutoring! What, am I being deducted points for caring about my peers' education!?"
