OOOOooooOOOOooo! It's that time of year, kiddies...where all must beware the things that go bump in the night! Or...if you're at Hogwarts, like we are, that could be any night, but the fact remains that Halloween is a very special time. To many, it's about dressing up and partaking in the consumption of sweets, but there are a few that enjoy a deeper, more inspired meaning.

Or simply stronger magic. On this cross-quarter day (also known as Samhain), it is believed that the constellations can add to your magical prowess. All that is required is that you carve them into pumpkins by way of vegetable sacrifice. So, have you prepared your pumpkins for the carving of constellations this season? Do you hope to feel that extra boost of energy as you perform your charms and enchantments tonight?

Will simple 'scary faces' and monsters ever be featured on a carved pumpkin again?

In honor of all those lovable, dangerous creatures, far and wide (who may no longer grace our pumpkins), we present CREATURE FEATURES for your GRISLY pleasure.

OOC: So, this is meant to be something "for fun" and not to be taken too seriously. Both puzzles were created using Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which can be referenced on the Wiki page. We're also providing a Word Bank to help with the Crossword puzzle. As for the Word Search, there are missing letters in the word list but if you have trouble in finding the words, the Word Bank for the Crossword can also be used for it. ENJOY!
