You really think that you're news, don't you? To clarify, you're hardly the bastion of cut-throat journalism that you want Hogwarts to believe your publication to be. Our readership is just as impressive as yours, if not more so, and we manage it without turning student against student or spreading libel and outright lies...for the sake of 'seeing what happens'.

...And yes, we do have style and substance to spare, and no, we don't need to invent ridiculous rumours to maintain that. Maybe we should loan your lot a writer or two...Certainly, Aparecium is in dire need of an editor if it can't even correctly spell the names of the people it attempts to defame.

Jabs aside, we are glad you're in the 'game', as you call it. You're welcome to the rumour mill, as it doesn't interest us. Do keep writing and feel free to have your articles appear somewhere within our pages. We're confident enough in our own body of work to share the limelight.
