It seemed lately Benny had been spending a lot of time reading, whether it be his notes from previous lessons and library tomes for studying or various textbooks for help completing homework assignments and everything else in between. The current halfway decent spring day was no exception, the fifth year staked out in the reading area of the Gryffindor common room with a potions book lying open in front of him. He had been reading it over for a while, trying to keep track of information on potions ingrediants that might be valuable in his OWLs. He had promised Adi that he'd at least try not to fail that exam and while he hadn't been doing bad in classes, it wasn't easy for the Gryffindor.
He hadn't even noticed when he had started reading the same passage over again as his brain seemed to freeze. Or the fact that his random yawning likely caused by his late-night studying the night before had turned more and more frequent. If either had happened, Benny might have registered the moment his head fell forward and rested on the book in front of him on the desk he had been working at. Or when it was pretty certain that the fifth year might be completely asleep in the position he currently was in.
