mini challenge twenty-seven: Healer {2014 Days of Potter}

Slipping a sign outside of the treehouse that read 'Consulting Detectives', Simon set to work to fix up the room into making it appear more like an office. A few minutes later, Ethan dashed into the room and then collapsed on the nearest couch, making a variety of muffled noises. "Mate, I can't understand you. What's wrong?" he said, smirking as he placed his notebook on the journal.

Ethan lifted his head slowly to look at Simon. "Jo.. She... She didn't show up to the ball. I had asked her, but..." Ethan moved his lips, but no noise came out. The Aussie knew exactly how Ethan felt. Having feelings for such a girl for a long time and then having her stand you up was hard to deal with. And Simon had been pretty certain that she had had feelings for his mate. Not knowing what to say, Simon just stared for a moment. It was as if someone had cast the Quieting Spell on him.

After a few moments, Ethan looked up. His eyes were a little red and swollen. "I think I need a Healer."

Detective work could wait. Matters of the heart were important.
