Or they could work on getting it right once. Once was a start. Heh.

"Suppose we'll find out soon enough," he mused, ready to move forward with their task.

He listened as Ben guided them through the process, and of course, learning the incantation was super important. "PIS-ee-fors," Zeke said out loud, "PIS-ee-fors... piscifors." Yep... it was a good three syllable word. PIS-ee-fors!!!!!

"Mhmh..." Benny supposed they would.

Listening to both his own speech and that of his partner, it seemed as they both had a good hand on the incantation of the spell. The first important part of learning the spell with the wand movement being the second seeing as they was usually how professors taught them a new spell in the more formal space of a classroom. Who would have thought...the great hall as a pseudo-classroom...with him as faux teacher it seemed? Zeke paying apt attention to him.

Another glance at the book provided two more tidbits of information that would help. "The wand is a simple point at the object you want to change." Simple pimple. Which likely meant intent and focusing on an image of what you want was the pivotal effort. "Also says the spell is blue so that would give you a clue its at least particly cast correctly. " He would be looking for and hoping for that color.

With nothing new left to learn, all there was to do was actually try out the spell. So Ben took hold of his wand once more and raised it to aim at his salt shaker. He then took a deep breath, in and out, as he tried to imagine the shaker as a fish. A goldfish for lack of another idea coming to mind. When he felt ready he finally cast, "Piscifors!" his wand pointed at the shaker. A purplish light emerged from his wand yet the salt shaker meerly changed the bright orange color of a goldfish.

One shot failed.
