Archie was only happy to help with the water spell. He smiled and made his way over to the boy, only another student appeared to have gotten there first. That was fine, too. "I can see Mr Mordaunt is doing a great job at teaching the spell. If you need any more help then call me over again." He nodded.

Interesting question. "Most plants have a mixture of male and female parts rather than having its own particular gender. Almost impossible to tell from just looking at them. Great question." Archie smiled.

As the noise in the room was making itself noticed, Archie decided that it was best to move on to the next part of the lesson. The students that were still restoring their toadstools still had plenty of time to catch up. "Great job, everyone!" He was SO, so pleased. Really. "By the sound of it, looks like most of you have successfully restored your Talking Toadstools. If you're still in the process, feel free to continue." Nod, nod. Now... Archie got out his wand for the next part.

"As Miss Mancini has just mentioned, we will be using the silencing charm to shut these toadstools up. Not only for our ears, but for them, too. Talking Toadstools do not appreciate the company of each other and tend to grow independently." Who could blame them???? "For anyone who hasn't learned the silencing charm before, listen up." He paused, "and your charms professor can thank me later." Wink, wink.

"The incantation is Silencio. Pronounced si-LEN-see-oh." Very French sounding, yes. "And is performed with a very simple jab movement of the wand." Archie demonstrated the movement. "I'll write that on the blackboard, but go ahead and try silencing those toadstools. Once you have finished, please use one of the sticker labels and pop your name onto the pot of your toadstool, and then take it to Greenhouse 2. Just leave them on the main desk before returning here". He would obviously move them to appropriate and separate places after class had been dismissed. "Hands up if you need me." He turned and chalked the silencing charm information underneath what was previously written.


ooc: Plenty of time to catch up on the mini activity if you're behind. This main activity requires a minimum of three posts for full credit. Practising the spell, performing the spell, labelling and moving to greenhouse two. Post more if you wish to.
