This one was a lot harder, it was the one question that was supposed to make some students stand out in class, and of course Tempus was still on top of his class. Botros clapped for him, and urged the others to clap along, too. "That is a great answer, son. It is essentially what you said. Othala is the rune of property and possession and the idea of capturing someone or something is having possession of them. It is necessary to draw Othala in the center to direct the energy of the other runes around it towards the person or object that we have trapped within this runic ward." He nodded with a smile, so proud of the Hufflepuff.

She did make sense, and Botros smiled at her and nodded. "Very close, very close." What she said was close and correct in essence but she could've said it in simpler words. The students thought Runes were complicated and incomprehensible but in truth, they were pretty literal sometimes.

Now. They would all be glad to know that they'd reached the last portion of today's class. Botros folded his hands across his big belly and spoke, "We're sadly not going to be able to perform a tracking runic charm today. They require special surrounding and tools that are too sophisticated for this stage of education." He smiled sadly, knowing that some would've wanted to try it out.

"We can, however, learn to draw a ring of a capturing charm back there in that empty space in this classroom." He gestured to it and stepped down to walk between the students to the vacant area at the back of the room. "There are a few big self-inking brushes over here." He pointed at them, "Red pigment is used, that is strictly what should be used for runes drawing, by the way. Alchemists usually enchant the pigment for us when they make it, but the one we're using is not magical." Another sad smile from him. "So, we need to draw the Capture charm on the floor. I think three would be fine. The size doesn't matter as long as you make sure the shapes are symmetrical."

"Huddle together in three groups and start working. Tempus will head one group, Guidry will head another one, and Lecium will be head for the last one." Botros went back to the blackboard, "I will write down the spell that works with this capture charm but we don't have to practice it today. Just focus on drawing those three rings on the floor. If there's no questions, you may begin." He smiled and turned to write.
